With RAT we have his habit of implicating others.
We have his Arson charge.
We have his connection to two people whose surnames belong to prominent landowners.
We have at least three females(MH, SC, & AM) that stood out in the crowd. Confident females who expressed their unique style openly. All three appear to be very independent young women who some may say were adventurous or strong willed and motivated. They were not small or petite females.

He had gatherings at campgrounds with people younger than himself.

It occurs to me that the time he was in jail should have been a time for exploring his own young adulthood. I figure he was about 27 when he was first arrested in VA Beach and about 31 when he got out. Just have to believe there is some kind of jealousy/envy, coveting or rage toward these strong young females.
IDK, I can't get passed the similarities in these case and his proximity to all three.

Quite possible. They only released information about the one match, but if the other(s) didn't come up with a match, they would most likely not have said. They've kept most of that information very close to the vest.

Sadly, if these SOs committed their offenses before VA instituted the new rules re: DNA then unless they commit new crimes, their DNA is not labeled in the databanks either.

I saw a few of those Roseland & Shipman SOs had cases back too far to have their DNA on file.

One thing we know about that time frame. He had the son. If the child is now 14, that had to be some time between 1998 and 1999. Maybe he was straight and narrow for the first five years of his son's life and the early time with the mother of his child.

If I remember correctly... I think from the hook article, it said he had custody of his son as well, but lost it due to the harassment (his claim).. maybe? have to go back and check the hook article again to be sure... maybe it was that he actually lost custody because his behavior was starting to go downhill again, crime/driving wise... I think one of the court records is minor not wearing seat belt, isn't? if he got in trouble with his kid in the car, that might be grounds for mom to say that's it, see you in J&D court... jmo

OK, I finally figured out this Breeden issue. The 29 Stalker is said to have used that name. I think someone jumped the gun and suggested that RAT has been proven to use that name. I think the most that can be verified is that RAT either rented from a 66 year man by that name or shared an apartment with him. Now if it turns out that RAT is responsible for any of the 29 Stalker attacks, then one might say that he once again used someone's name that was associated with him. Another way to point the finger at someone else who may just be the unlucky associate of this career criminal, RAT.

Let's say someone tried to point the finger at him, RAT, then he was probably prepared to make Mr L Breeden his patsy. Sound familiar?

Yes, his locations stay tight to Route 29, but I don't think we have anything reliable that places him north of Culpeper or south of Lovingston. The Route 29 rapes and killing were mostly farther north. But he does resemble the one sketch pretty strongly.

I definitely think the Norfolk area needs to be investigated further, and also Richmond since he has to go through/past that to get to the Tidewater area. But Norfolk/Va Beach is south of the Colonial Parkway, and the victims were all couples, which doesn't fit with the two cases we know about.

I wish we knew more of his pre-1993 life. I hope LE has found out more than we have.

there is also the couple in Vtech... and several missing/murdered south of lovingston that I can think of just in the past 2 years... i keep saying im gonna find the news articles.. but between trying to keep up with my family and updating things on AM here locally, I havent had a chance... i agree with all of that, except one thing... AM came across that way in her online persona... which applies if that was how he was stalking her... but if it wasnt, then its a different ballgame... in real life, she was not outgoing, adventurous, or confident... and that comes from someone who knew her for a few years, quite well.. (not me, but a family member) she was confident and strong on the volleyball court, but even that took time before she believed in herself... in real life she was more shy, polite, but not outgoing or gregarious... unless with family... she was not what she portrayed, (confident, or outgoing-wise) in her sm... so... I guess it would depend on if he was able to see her SM or not?? I dont think that would have been a vibe he picked up from her in real life, in fact I think in RL, he would have zeroed in on the shyness... which is even scarier..

Don't know where he was prior to 1993. That is as far back as the VA electronic records go
Don't know where he was for 7 years between 1996 and 2003. This guy does not have caps in his record.
You can also see that after the big arrests he often moves. Probably kicked out or lost his job?

Also look for towns/courts along US-460, as this is an alternative route from his area to the Tidewater region. Its not as heavily traveled as the interstates. Some of the counties would be Buckingham, Prince Edward, Nottoway, Dinwiddie, Prince Gearge, etc

so is route 60... in fact we use it all the time... 60 goes from the vaBeach coast all the way through richmond, here into nelson and amherst, into rockbridge county, to I81.. and then on across the US going westward... until reaches the CA coast... direct shot, coast to coast, and passes thru a corner of nelson county along the way... very scenic and beautiful 2 lane back road for the most part....

Route 250 should be looked at as well. It doesnt run all of the way to the beach but it does parallel Interstate 64 from Charlottesville all the way into Richmond.He could pick up the Interstate to the beach anywhere along that route as well.

He was somewhere but don' forget, he became a father within two or three years of his release date 09/96.

We need to figure out what prison or jail he did those four years. What part of Virginia was he housed while confined?

Because the 1st address we find for RAT in the Shenandoah/Blue Ridge Region is
Lovingston
Something tells me that his reason for leaving the coast for mountains and valleys might be someone related to his son's mother or the mother of his son herself.

In Roseland, VA, I found the maternal grandmother's current surname (Turner) associated with the surname of the complainant in RAT's Charlottesville Assault case.

Just going to follow up as this may have been what drew him to that specific area.

just had a thought. I realize he worked off/on at a car dealership, but are there places around there, like a car junkyard and/or attached to a towing place?

Maybe someone has seen RAT around there replacing parts that have been
wrecked, scraped with victims' paint from there cars; parts bought for various
plates/stickers,registrations, etc.

Once I had to get my car after it was towed. Kinda scary looking guy just told
me and my friend to go get my car by ourselves after we paid. Wish we hadn't snooped around because we found a freshly totalled car splattered all over with blood inside out in the lot. Some of these totalled wrecks had prices scrawled
on them.

If you worked at one of these type places, or were friends/acquaintances
with someone who did, you could steal license plates and other IDs from towed/wrecked cars.

I dreamed last night that I was visiting people who had some kind of car business, it's like this big, fifties style garage/ parking lot area with a high
cement wall and loading dock, all old grease-stained cement; anyway I told them, 2 guys and girl, that I needed to go to work, I was going to be late
but then I felt like I was rufied, really disoriented but knew I had to get out but I would go in one door and around and I would be in the same place, finally I got outside, and saw my truck--I knew I was too messed up to drive, but also
I knew I had to leave. Finally get my truck open and the whole dash had been pulled out, but instead of wires, etc it was stuffed with loose upholstery stuffing, the old kind like horsehair.

Oh yeah, their house was a squatty type of one story dwelling that was attached to the big garage like place.

But maybe RAT had a piece of furniture that is missing like a couch or futon.

or a junky van or other car he ditched in a car junkyard, or dismantled.

I'll have to look up who said it early this morning, but someone said that cars, vehicles, and their repair, repossession, etc have been his whole life. that's where the dream came from. He thinks he's the cleverest when he can work vehicles to his advantage. First his spiel--the car at the pumps, air machine, car wash--then, the method of abduction which is pulling them over, running them off the road, whatever. Use of cars both as alibi and set-ups--the maroon Capri, the fingerprints on bottle
placed in live-in vehicle, victim's car used as alibi/set up TBD.

He may have a junker car(s) somewhere that was good enough for post-crime and then junk/dismantle it. If so, someone somewhere has to know something about this. Better they turn in this really suspicious guy (RAT)they've seen/sold to on their property before the FBI gets them too. Afterall, we kinda know this guy's never gonna get out and if he ever should will not be in any position to get even!

Trying to help bring closure for Alexis's family, and any other family that might have possibly been affected by this alleged possible murderer, jmo, imo. That's all I care about and that's why I'm here. If you think something I have posted is "ridiculous", please feel free to pm me. I am always open to constructive criticism.
