An ambulance rush past and about five minutes later a helicopter flew over the media centre site to cheers from many of the Thai volunteers.

A local volunteer probably took the picture and sold it to CNN.

The first four boys, from the group of 13, including the coach, were rescued on Sunday.

Really? Okay that makes me feel better. I could have sworn 3 were driven and one flown. However, I was in and out of sleep so I probably dreamed it!

Good morning! Another boy en route to hospital, great news!
Lets hope they get more out very soon. Sleepy, sleepy.....hope they are reasonably healthy. Saw something about the boys seeing their parents tonight but no hugs!
Must be in good shape but fear of transmission of something. Its a good start!!
Keep them coming and please have enough tanks to get them all out today!!

They were probably driven and flown. Driven to/from helipad.

Spellbound, I had the same reaction thinking most were rescued. Guess we didn't sleep for THAT long. Fingers crossed they get them all out today.

A reporter talking on live feed said there would be a helicopter to an airport near the hospital, then an ambulance. He isn’t reporting, just talking in background. Saying landing will be in next five minutes.

Yes, the plan was from cave to field hospital (tents), 10 min. ambulance ride to helipad, 25 min. flight to hospital.

Yes, the plan was from cave to field hospital (tents), 10 min. ambulance ride to helipad, 25 min. flight to hospital.

correction- 15 min. flight to hospital so total of 25 min from field
hospital (tents) to hospital.
Has anyone seen where the heli lands at hospital.
All the hospitals in my area have helipad on roof.
