He'd prefer to stay out of it. Just let Lin Wood file lawsuits on his behalf and collect the funds.

I do not feel sorry for Burke or John or the late Patsy Ramsey. Legally culpable or not, Burke is a weasel.

Patsy Ramsey was so concerned with her facade of the perfect life with the perfect family, she and her husband failed to address their son's behavior before or after the murder. As a result of their failure to address it while little JonBenet was alive, she lost her life. And when faced with doing wrong or right by their dead daughter or their living son, they chose wrong. Again.

Instead of staying quiet, John Ramsey has lied through endless interviews and then enjoys having his bombastic, morally bankrupt attorney sue media outlets for financial gain.

They are despicable people.

I can't help but wonder if the Ramseys had sought help for him for emotional/mental issues prior to JonBenet's murder. If there was nothing in his history, why not just release it and put all the rumors to rest? Makes no sense to me.

How do you know this?

Patsy stated that right after they were moving in, Jonbenet tripped the alarm and it was so loud and they were afraid it would be tripped again so they never used it. I believe it was in the BPD interview

The scenario that Kolar goes through in his book is that JBR was choked with the collar of her shirt, causing the triangular bruise on the front of her neck. It is then that she scratched her neck, and that did not last long before she was struck. She did not resist the subsequent choking with the cord because she was unconscious from the head blow.

Radio show, JK:

@32:10 Cherokee".... and Why do you think it
took place
in the kitchen
and not the basement.

TG: Good question
JK: There's a lot that goes into
the thought proceses
for that
and again, Cherokee, it's a matter of speculation
But I think that the nexus of contact between
the two
is pineapple in the kitchen
that as Tricia indicated that
it's not unheard of for siblings to have
to have some type of conflict,
uhm, regarding those types of things
and that if she snatched a bite from
If you follow the sequence and
venturings of Dr. Werner Spitz
suggests
Then following that
that bite of pinapple
there might of been
a grabbing of the t-shirt
that she was wearing at the time
and the twisting of that around
the throat
accounts for the bruise on the front
side of her throat and larynx
There's some indication
of some fingernail scracthes there,
Perhaps she was trying to
loosen up that grip

When that is finally let go
the flashlights handiwork
is being played with there in the kitchen
she turns away
and just at the right angle
And as Burke had demonstrated during
his interview with Dr. Bernhart
he provides an over of the head
striking blow
You consider human behaviour
and you can look at
some of the things
and some of the things
that are suggested
his demonstration
his pineapple bowl,
That may have made him mad.

The 911 call supposedly with Burke's voice. Even the experts on CBS couldn't agree on what was said or who said it.
JR didn't immediately grab his buddy and start searching. BPD and Fleet White had been down to the basement earlier. Fleet White gave a statement that he actually opened the wine cellar door.

Burke was jealous of his sister? Is there any evidence of this?

I could go on and on. I'm not in any "camp" but I find it disheartening that evidence can be misconstrued on both sides.

1st item: I never said WHAT Burke said. I said it was clear his voice was on there, which it is.
2nd item: Detective Arndt stated that JR grabbed Fleet and immediately headed for the basement. The other searches were earlier. Yes. that is funny you mentioned that BDP and White were down there earlier and saw nothing. JR was unaccounted for for several minutes (Det. Arndt). Very curious..do you care to speculate where he was and what he was doing??
3rd item: Don't kid yourself, he was jealous and disturbed (previously hit her with golf club, left feces in her room, etc.)

This is all speculative. Not one single expert other than from the CBS special claims that it is 100% Burke's voice on the phone. They couldn't even agree on what was said let alone who said it.

Det Arndt said she also counted her bullets and "knew" someone in that house was the killer.

Lastly, have any of us seen the original police reports?

also,
**FLASHBACK**
on some models of phones there was a clear
plastic tab under which you could write
your phone number on a little paper tab
and insert within,
thus identifying your personal home phone.

1996 seems like it was the dark ages. :giggle: I forget how things used to be and I'm old!

I think the fact that he supposedly broke the window and then didn't bother to get it fixed is mighty strange. The size of the house isn't an issue as far as I'm concerned and he certainly had the money to hire someone to fix the window.

How does one let months go by without fixing a window they broke in the basement where their young children play?

For what its worth I have a broken window right now that has been broken for about 7 years. LOL

Mine is quite different though and is not broke clean through like theirs was. Mine just has a large crack and I just put clear tape on both sides of it. On top of that it has a double pane glass so only 1 pane is cracked. I probably should fix it though and it has bugged me ever since I noticed it. LOL

The main reason I havent fixed mine is it will be costly because I can tell they will have to totally disassemble the window to get to the glass. I am betting it will be very expensive and its a double window so both sides would probably get a brand new window and sill which I am sure will be 800-1500 dollars for my example.

I think they all did agree that certain parts did sound like Patsy, Burke and John. Certain sentences were debatable. Bottom line, there were three people there when the call was made, don't try to diffuse that point by saying the couldn't agree on every word. Thats not whats important.

I think if you suddenly realized that you were surrounded by a group of people and that one of them had cold bloodily killed a six year old girl in the last few hours, you would be questioning your safety as well. Arndt was a good cop, she had no support.

Lastly, have any of us seen the original police reports?
Certainly Kolar has, and he's come to the same conclusions as I have, so.....

BPD never challenged it. It seems as if the Ramsey's thought is was a pain to deal with.

Typical John, expensive alarm system is too loud, so he just stops using it. Did he call the guy and see if the volume could be lowered?

Just because cops didn't question it, doesn't make it so.

Wonder how many birds, squirrels or rats got in there?

I appreciate what you are saying. I do. As for Arndt, she was surrounded my regular folks and a Pastor. Did she honestly think she would need to shoot her way out of the house? I find that hard to believe as she had just asked JR to search the house.

Fibres were found. Not the cord itself. Because it lends to the narrative that someone with a cord came into her bedroom. The cord was never positively sourced from the house. So....

Yes ok, so let's assume this piece of evidence can conclusively prove the cord had been in the bedroom.

How does that prove it was not a Ramsey?

It could very well also prove that someone who had touched that cord had then gone upstairs to retrieve JBR's blanket off her bed, and in the action of scooping up the blanket transfer fibers on them from the cord, to her bed.

See fibers in the bed do not prove the cord was in her bed....only that whoever touched the cord, also touched her bed that night.

Which again doesn't indicate an intruder either.

Seriously? They didn't know how to use it, it kept malfunctioning, it's a safe neighborhood. These are the things that I think muddle this investigation. It has no bearing on Jonbenet's murder. Many, many, including my family, do not use our alarm system. It is a pain, especially when you have kiddos

"She had a natural ebullience, especially when it came to her beloved dog Jacques, a bichon frise she had received on her fifth birthday. "She loved that little dog," says Joe Barnhill, a retiree who lives across the street from the Ramseys. "She would lie down on the floor and let the dog lick her face, and she would laugh and laugh. It tickled me to see such joy and happiness."
