I appreciate what you are saying. I do. As for Arndt, she was surrounded my regular folks and a Pastor. Did she honestly think she would need to shoot her way out of the house? I find that hard to believe as she had just asked JR to search the house.

That interview was years later. You don't think she just exaggerated the point to be dramatic?

I think the most f'ed up think about Arndt is that she became pals with Patsy and even visited her on her death bed.

I don't know? I read briefly read about the mess between Susan Stine's relationship with Det. Arndt. Det. Arndt accused SS of harassment. Just crazy stuff. I'm sure there is more to the story.

What I find strange is that Det. Arndt was not included in the CBS special. I wonder why?

Seriously? They didn't know how to use it, it kept malfunctioning, it's a safe neighborhood. These are the things that I think muddle this investigation. It has no bearing on Jonbenet's murder. Many, many, including my family, do not use our alarm system. It is a pain, especially when you have kiddos

Who said they didn't know how to use it? It was, according to John, the kids that played with it and set it off. Why not tell them not to touch the damn thing? Alarm systems aren't rocket science, you turn them on or off thats it. If john couldn't handle that, what is he doing running a billion dollar company.

I don't know what JR and PR's feelings about the alarm. But I think the evidence is pretty solid in that they did not use the alarm. Ever. They probably should have but the they didn't.

Did you watch the A& E special last night? she was in that and JR appears to respond to all the allegations regarding this CBS special.. I am only 1/2 way though it. I have not got to that part yet

...SBM...

13. Grand Jury "prepared charges of child abuse resulting in death and accessory to a crime for both John and Patsy Ramsey in the death of their daughter." The grand jury felt that both the Ramseys permitted a child to be "unreasonably placed in a situation which posed a threat of injury to the child's life or health, which resulted in the death of JonBenet Ramsey" and rendered assistance to a person "knowing the person being assisted has committed and was suspected of the crime of murder in the first degree and child abuse resulting in death."

And that's not even everything that we know. And who knows what other evidence is there that we haven't been privy to? I can guarantee that if there is other evidence out there that would have exonerated the Rs, it would have been made known.

Is it possible for a child of 9 years to commit "child abuse" on another child? I am referencing the wording in the True Bill that is quoted and the specifics of CO law. When I read "child abuse" I always think of an adult perpetrator. As for the CBS show, I was not impressed that the one lawyer they interviewed is the end all in legal opinions regarding the True Bills; I wish they had sought more opinions than just the one that supported their BDI theory.

I'm right there with you. The CBS "expert" Jim Clemente has been hocking his theories for years, same with Kolar. Why on earth would any of these "experts" look at the evidence with fresh eyes when their whole career is staked on their previously held opinion that BDI or RDI?

It makes NO sense for them to essentially tank their career

No, that skull fracture would have knocked her out immediately. Remember, part of her skull was punctured into her brain. She wouldn't have been conscious after that. Whatever happened, it took place in the basement, right near the room where she was found. There was urine in the carpet outside the door of the wine cellar room and that was where the paint tote with Patsy's paint brushes was. She never recovered consciousness after she was hit. If her scalp had been lacerated and was bleeding, we'd have had a completely different case, of course.

I agree with this scenario about the severity of the head wound causing immediate lack of consciousness, and also thank you to those who pointed out the urine traces in the carpet because that may well be the site where the head blow occurred.

So Jonbener and Burke ate some pineapple in the "breakfast" room. Then went downstairs to find presents. Burke smashed her over the head with a flashlight and then prodded her with train tracks?

The point of the ransom note was to have the police trample all the forensic evidence in the house. It worked. They would have handled the house much differently if it was a homicide or accidental death. The note was written mostly by PR. Only she would use the phrasing in the note. A foreign faction, or would be kidnappers, would care or mention where the victims were from. That good southern common sense is a Patsyism. JR was from Michigan. Not a southern state. I'm from WV, just like PR. We are southerners. sad to say, BR did it is the only theory that fits and cleats up most of the confusing evidence. The main reason for the cover up was because of the chronic sexual abuse by BR to his sister. The coroner's report stated chronic. But her hymen was intact. Damaged, but intact. Caused by someone to small to break the hymen. The loosely tied rope on her hands could have been restraints to suspend her vertically. Once she was taken down, the slipknots could loosen again. Try it for yourself. Anyone who still believes that IDI should join the Oswald club. He acted alone because the govmint says so. And I have a bridge for sale.

Whether you truly believe an intruder did or the Ramseys, the fact of the matter is that the alarm didn't go off that night. Or the alarm company would have records of it/neighbors would remember. But at least we're no longer talking about their air conditioning. :)

Woah woah, urine stain on what carpet? I had never heard this.

I think u dont release your bladder when u go unconsious only when u r dying though im certainly not an expert

I did while having a heart attack, I lost conscience my hubby said my eyes dilated and then within just a few seconds I came back to life

If you believe this then why do you continue to post on the murder. BR will never be charged. He seems to be doing well. Patsy is dead and JR apparently has no ties....no physical evidence, etc. So what is the point?

That's what I got from the indictment. You can read it here:

https://www.courts.state.co.us/Media/Opinion_Docs/JRamsey Grand Jury.pdf

They weren't thinking the parents covered up an accident

So does that mean intent?

DP EP 3

@ 28:14
suspects: Santa

DP: Did JonBenet ever say anything
about Santa coming to see her after
that Party?

BR: Not that I remember.

DP: You don't remember
anything about that?

BR: No

DP: Okay. She didn't ever say
she saw Santa again

BR: No, I don't remember
her saying anything like that.

If she was pushed and fell into something then I guess I could believe it was some sort of accident. But if she was hit with something, dunno, there already is intent when picking the object up..imo

okay.....

Yes, assisting in covering up murder in the first degree would mean that someone had committed murder in the first degree. Neither Patsy nor John were charged with murder. There were only 3 living people in that house on 12/26, and one was too young to be charged with murder in the first degree. But his parents were accessories after the fact.

I had a classmate once who passed out (she did it frequently), fell on the floor, and urinated herself. Felt so badly for her :(.

I've thought about this a lot today, and you're right in a way. Nobody will ever be charged in this case. I don't think we'll ever learn anything more about it either. I've read the thread about the grand jury and Colorado law regarding children, etc., and I believe this case is already solved but nobody's allowed to talk about it. Case closed :(. It would be nice for the public to know for sure but Colorado law says we have no right to because of the age of the perpetrator.

Hi; lurked here for years. Excited to see an actual investigation on CBS with supportable conclusions. For those who watched the A&E "Truth" program, it was so oddly biased in favor of the Rs--including access to J and B for interviews, do you think CBS could subpeona details and agreements from that documentary to support their own methodology? Should a lawsuit stupidly go forward that is. My knowledge of the case is that there have always been shills bombarding media sites with noise everytime a credible investigation on the Rs is in the news cycle.
