I do think he is sincere in protecting his son...........but his son is an adult and should not need daddy protecting him to this extreme. I do think a book deal will be in the works..................... He needs all that money to buy stock in Just For Men. I like him and I have met him, but for some reason, I do not trust him.

I saw Rev. Grund on Nancy Grace the other night and I was very impressed with him. As the mother of 2 sons, I can understand his plight. He initially thought this child was his granddaughter and I'm certain that he loved and cared for her. He said that Casey opened up to him on many occassions regarding her family problems, so it sounded like he was very invested in Casey and Caylee.

I don't know why Jesse and Casey broke up - and I would be interested to know if any of you know - but it is only natural that Rev. Grund feels somewhat betrayed, if nothing else, that he loved Casey and Caylee so much, only to have his son blamed for Caylee's disappearance.

He appears to have a good deal of integrity. He is not slinging mud but he is going to defend his son and I understand that.

His name is being maligned by the crazy A's. He probably will write a book, him and every other player in this sordid story. So what.
And that just for men remark was just childish.

Good morning. :) You might want to change your title. It's Reverend Richard Grund, Jesse is the son who was engaged to KC at one time.

I think Mr. Grund has a vested interest in Caylee because at one point, he thought that she was his granddaughter, and had grown very close to her. From what I understand, KC and Caylee spent a lot of time at the Grund house when her and Jesse were engaged especially. I've seen pictures of them opening Christmas presents, etc.

I would think they became very close to Caylee during that time period. She was adorable and I don't see who couldn't. I think he also sees an injustice being done to Caylee and feels the need to defend her. His son has also been implicated by CA and was blamed at one point for Caylee being missing. I can certainly understand why he has a vested interest in this case. He was pretty much unheard from until CA blamed Jesse and then he felt the need to defend his family.

Anyone who is willing to be a voice for Caylee is speaking up and because he had loved Caylee like she was his own granddaughter, he feels very passionate about this.

Didn't they do a liot of free babysitting of Caylee during that time also?
I can see where he has a VERY vested interest in this child. As for what he has to say, maybe it's something that has nothing to do with this case but with the skeletons in the Anthony closet.

I will NOTa crucify this man for carying about a little girl whose own blood relatives appear not to care about her.

I admire Rev.Grund. He is a voice for Caylee, more of a voice than her murderous mother has ever been. And Jesse has been more of a voice than Casey also, for that matter!
I believe what he is speaking of is information he has of the dynamics within the Anthony home and family, and of how it helped in molding Casey into what she is today.
Yes, Jesse Grund is a grown man, but that still doesn't make a parent any less angry when someone is telling lies and insinuating he is involved in something sinister. A parent will stand up for their child, grown or not. I know I certainly would.
Rev. Grund is being supportive of his son, who he knows is not involved in the death of little Caylee.

I believe that Rev. Grund is a good and honest man and he is a voice for Caylee. So much more than can be ever said about the Anthony family.

I agree with your thoughts, febedallas.
Jesse and Casey were engaged, and Casey led Jesse to believe that Caylee was his child. Jesse got a paternity dna test which showed he did not father Caylee, but he continued to stay with Casey and be a father to Caylee. Casey was cheating on him with other guys, during the same time they were together. Her cheating on him is what caused the break up.

Although he pressured Casey to find a sitter for Caylee since he works out of his home and they were watching Caylee 2-3 days a week and it was disruptive to him. AND according to his recently released police statement, he did not believe the story regarding the Nanny from the get-go, but doesn't indicate that he attempted to grill Casey as to where Caylee would be during the day....his statement is a catalyst for my thoughts regarding all of this-I bear him no ill will at all, but NO ONE ever held Casey's feet to the fire regarding the location of Caylee even when they believed Casey was lying about where she was...not George, not Cindy, not Lee, not Rev Grund...her friends would let her spin lies about where she got money and why she needed it again without challenging her...it is amazing the lack of accountability that this girl had. I bet that Cindy absolutely regrets in her soul not obtaining custody of Caylee sooner....

Oh My Heart.

Cindy launched the first grenade at the Grunds- whatever happens next she asked for it .

I dont know how any sane person could not respond to the ##$% being
flung . I do know she would have gotten a cease and desist letter with
the definition and fines / jail time of slander and libel from my attorney.

(snipped)His "workers compensation" case may p[rove to be interesting. If there wasn't a trauma related injury to the knee at the workplace (where?) than it probably simply gave out on him due to his own condition, sadly still compensable if it happened to occur during work hours. (snip)

Maybe, maybe not. But since it doesn't seem to have anything to do with what happened to Caylee, I'm not sure why details of the case would be made public. Obviously workman's comp only covers work related injuries / injuries that occur during work hours, and I doubt they would cover something as extensive as a knee replacement if there were questions about the validity of the claim. And I don't think too many people would have this type of surgery unless they absolutely had to. And bottom line --I don't see how this relates to what happened to Caylee.

As far as Rev G's statement, I can see it applying to KC and the entire A family (not just GA). And I do believe he's right -- if the prosecution, LE, the FBI, etc do their job, things will come out. I don't believe for a minute that his comments have anything at all to do with GA's knee replacement or the workman's comp issue. He doesn't impress me as a petty person. This may change but I do hope it doesn't; I'd hate to see him join others on the low road...

believe09, You sure make a very good point!
You're right, so many people just let Casey lie and lie and lie, and lie some more, but no one ever called her on any of it, when they knew it was all lies!
I can't place blame on them, it is Casey that is ultimately responsible for this entire mess, and the horrors included in the mess!

And yes, if I were Cindy A. I know I would be in a deep depression right now, feeling as though I could have saved my grandaughter if I'd only moved to get custody quick enough!
I'm sure many people are "what iffing" and it's driving them nuts!
So very sad! It breaks my heart!

Yes, Cindy probably could have saved Caylee from being killed if she'd gotten custody, but Cindy would have surely ruined Caylee the same way she ruined Casey in the way she raised her. Caylee would have grown up being destroyed mentally and emotionally by having Cindy be her primary caregiver.

Cindy does appear to point the finger at anyone and everyone in the disappearance of Caylee. Not ONE TIME have I heard her say that KC was anything but a "good mother" A agood mother doesn't do ONE THING that KC did, including lie to police to prevent their investigation.

IMO Cindy's feelings don't run that deep. She is enjoying all the attention she is getting. Just look at her comments to KC in that visit about all the cameos she was getting. Not a word about how she was getting the word out about Caylee - just about her videos.

Why Rev. Grund is the subject of discussion, I do not know. The man is some kind of advocate for his own brand of Christianity which is always a little kooky to me, but so what. That is his gig, not mine.

He knows KC and has heard a lot out of her mouth in the last few years - talking about her family, etc. He has a little insight into her and her family but he hasn't yakked it up on tv about the things he knows.

When CA and GA started to toss JG under the bus, he stood up to them. He was not going to allow them to smear his son when it is their daughter who killed the baby that the Grunds loved so much. His son tried to do the right thing by KC and Caylee and surely when the baby was born 7 months after the "one night stand" between KC and JG, I am sure the Rev. said "get a DNA test, son - full term babies do not happen in 7 months". KC begged and coerced JG to have faith that the baby was his, not to do the test. Unfortunately, the Grunds can count to 9.

If someone was accusing my grown son of being involved in the disappearance of death of a baby, I would be talking too. He isn't going to sit back and let the A's drag his family into the sewer they dug for themselves.

What does ex-LE do? They question the ridiculous.

"I can't take it anymore, I am tired of living a lie." GA

OK, GA spit it out. We are all listening.

I think GA is about to explode, trying to keep it all in. I think that he believes if he could just talk to KC, he could get the answers. Too bad Baez's associate stopped the meeting KC had arranged with GA, it would have all been over by now. Of course, nothing is stopping her from talking now. But her mouth is too full of pop-tarts.

And that just for men remark was just childish.

I think I will write a book too on how my addiction to this entire mess has claimed my life.

I need an intervention. ROFL!!

I don't know if Cindy heard from RG's lawyer........but the first I remember hearing about RG was that his lawyer was contacting websites with threats of "major lawsuits".........which seemed very odd, in MOO.

Yes, she would have destroyed Caylee also if left to her own devices and lies, but in order for her to gain custody though the courts, they all would have had to undergo extensive psychological testing. Through that testing, they would have had to have extensive counseling and things might have been different with Caylee.

I tend to think the only reason CA had not filed for custody long before, is because she knew that family had too many secrets which would be revealed if she filed with the courts.
