Isn't this a posting from the AirAlex site? Do you have a link? The psychic reading is second-hand, as it was reported by someone who talked to the reputed psychic, rather than a transcription of a reading done by a psychic.

I believe the psychic was telling this vision to Alex and his son. But this story did come from Alex's site. I wish we still had all of the visions he had posted on the site from 2007. There were some really interesting ones.

I haven't read this entire thread so forgive if this has been brought up but Tammy Zywicki was found in the next county in 1992 - a possible connection? Tammy was abducted in Illinois.

I don't recall for a certain fact, but I believe her death was connected to a truck driver as her body was covered by a blanket used to cover merchandise. Not sure but her killer may have been apprehended and/or died. I do not believe there is likely any connection. I did follow that particular case with great interest at the time but it has been almost two decades so my memory isn't perfect.

HI MM:

Her killer has not been caught. A truck was seen stopped and a man talking to her beside I-80 in Illinois the last time she was seen alive so it was presumed the her killer was a trucker. Witnesses thought she was having car trouble but police checked out the car where she left it and it was in perfect operating order with plenty of gas.

Thank you. Is it not a fact that her body was wrapped in a "truck" type blanket used to protect merchandise carried on the trailers? That strongly indicates this was a trucker does it not?

I’ve been collecting notes over the years and it may have gotten lost in the copying and pasting. I will check my sources. Thank you for pointing this out.

According to TruTV, the case on Tammy there states she was wrapped in a red blanket with the Kenworth logo on it. Not a blanket used as a packing quilt.

I remembered that Ms. Zywicki was wrapped in a blanket but I'd forgotten what sort. Thanks for refreshing my recollection. Tammy is also often brought up in the so-called Truck-stop Killer case whether such a killer actually exists or not.

I remember stumbling across this at some point. Here is the website:

http://starlightinnerprizes.com/Visions.htm

It references AirAlex site but I don't see it on there anymore.

It was a vision that an old woman, who was gifted, told Alex and his son.

I have posted this before and I'm going to post it again, because I think Its valid and is something that needs to be seriously considered:

I think the police should re-examine the Grave Robbers Case. I have looked at this case from every angle I can find, and my gut feeling keeps pointing me back to the Grave Robbers having something to do with this case....either directly, or indirectly.
1. Susie gave a statement to police regarding the Grave Robbers (they had used Susies car in the commission of the crime.
2. The Grave Robbers were charged with Felonys related to the Grave Robber crime with in a week or two of the 3MW's disappearance.
3. Two of the Grave Robbers skipped town shortly after the women went missing.
4. One of the Grave Robbers made a statement to a reporter, if I recall correctly, "I hope those *****es are dead". (Why would he refer to them in the plural tense. Susie was the only one that I know of that gave a statement to police....not all three.
5. Even though they were "Supposidly" Cleared by police, that doesn't mean that they actually WERE. Investigation Tactics 101. Let them think their not a suspect anymore, and hope they slip up and tip their hand to you. Police may just not have had enough SOLID evidence to arrest or charge them.
6. Proven...At least one (Probably all) of the Grave Robbers was into drugs at the time....including the one that dated Susie!
7. If the Grave Robbers didn't actually "Commit" the crime themselves, it doesn't mean that one of their "Associates" didn't. If someone who was into illegal activities thought that Susie's statement, or possably subsequent testamony would reveal their illegal activities, that might have been enough of a catilist to set the ball in motion. That could explain why/how the Grave Robbers were able to endure the scrutany of Police....as well as...pass a polygraph when asked if "They" had committed the crime. (I don't know if any of them were actually polygraphed or not)
8. Former Chief Knowles was supposely the one that cleared at least "One" of the Grave Robbers....over coffee at a coffee shop....or something like that. The case was supposidly handled from the "Top Down....as opposed to....the traditional method of handling the case from the Bottom Up". What if Former Chief Knowles was wrong in clearing who ever he had supposidly cleared. He's human.....mistakes can be made.
9. Also, I have heard that the owner of the Pawn Shop where the Grave Robbers sold the gold teeth stolen in the Grave Robbing crime were sold....left town shortly after the 3MW disappeared as well.

I won't respond to your entire post but I think you have covered it well. I think your point #8 is perhaps the most salient aspect of this case. From a well placed source, it is my clear understanding this did not go down well with the rank and file officer on the force. My personal opinion, and it is an opinion, is that the problem with solving this case came from poor leadership decisions. In point of fact, I believe the former prosecutor essentially said the same thing; something to the effect that never before had a case been handled such as this one had indicating it was micro managed in such a way as to hamstring the detectives who worked the case. Had they had the opportunity to work their "snitches" and other informants instead of running down every "lead" called in by people who may or may not have had real information they might have solved the case early on. In general, many cases have a central theme that leads to a successful arrest and prosecution if properly worked. Just lashing out in all directions is not likely to lead to success. And I think this is what happened here. You seem to have laid it out very well and succinctly. Well done.

Case in point: I seem to recall that the officer assigned to checking the vans was said to have checked all the vans of this vintage in the entire country. I once calculated that there were about 22,000 such vans on the road at the time. (It is still somewhat of a collector's item) If one thinks about that it seems to me that would be an impossible task. Even if the right one was located, it could already have been scrubbed clean and no trace evidence left behind. In my opinion, this was the waste of time for an experienced officer.

Maybe you could get one of your well placed sources to nominate you to attend the FBI's Citizen's Academy. You would then get some insight into how Knowles was taught while in the FBI, and was in the process of teaching SPD these same investigative procedures. At a minimum you would learn the FBI's policies concerning ethics, discipline, and investigative communications, and their policies and procedures concerning the collection and preservation of fingerprint and forensic evidence.

That's really a great idea. Thank you so much for your most helpful suggestion.

It would be well worth your time, but it does take a nomination to be accepted into the Citizen's Academy. You can't just walk in there and look em in the eye.

My opinions only, no facts here:

I have not posted on this particular case before, but I can be found elsewhere on websleuths.

If an infant is missing, very difficult to find. If one small adult is missing, somewhat difficult to find, but you might get lucky. If THREE people are missing- much easier to find. It is all about the logistics. If one person kidnaps three people, they must carry or escort them from point A to point B and later, from point C to point D.

Sink three people in a body of water, and evidence WILL surface, even if you use concrete overshoes. Toss three people at or near the surface anywhere on public land in the US and after a few years someone will stumble on them. Bury three people six feet deep and they will not be found for a long time, if at all. But a six foot hole is a big job with a hand shovel. Crimes like this (unless committed by organized crime) require "special access". Both to equipment and to private property.

I would surmise that a construction site, junk yard, or farm would be reasonable sites to explore.

It is believed by some (including myself) that the women were taken to a location at or near Rogersville, Missouri. The route taken there is generally agreed on. (so far as I am aware) While there is no trace of the women, back in the early 1990s (approximately), three other people were murdered, dismembered and body parts were burned and the remains were cast into a nearby stream of water (going on memory here). As I recall, three more people suffered the same fate (again, going on memory here). That is six people and (going on memory), I believe the reporting was that they were somehow involved in drugs of one sort or another. This information would be available in the Springfield News-Leader by hard copy alone as there are no computer records available as they did not archive their newspapers on the computer until about 1999.

While there are assertions by various individuals regarding drugs the authorities statements regarding drug involvement do not support this view. Instead the consensus of four agencies who have studied this case (as reported by the newspaper accounts) was that this was a crime of "sexual assault." (no details on how they arrived at that conclusion were ever published). I and others have surmised that both Suzie and Sherrill were taken together (along with Stacy) and either Suzie or Sherrill, if left behind, would likely have been able to point to a particular suspect or suspects.

It has been asserted by some that the police know what happened and that the crime will only be solved when someone comes forth to confess. No published account support that view to my knowledge. It has also been asserted that the crime scene was too contaminated for useful evidence to be gathered. (according to various sources unproven) There have been "confessions" of sorts over the years which have not proven out. Various "digs" have been had which have not turned up anything of value that we know of. Various psychics have claimed that they were murdered and were to be found near "bodies of water." An inmate in Texas claims to know they are dead and buried "near" Springfield. Another inmate in Missouri believed to have possibly been involved was convicted of rape and is currently refusing to take interviews according to a reporter who works this case. The inmate in Texas has made a lot of statements; even letters to the News-Leader where he stops short of admitting to the crime. He reportedly no longer takes interviews. He has been interviewed by the police as has the inmate in Missouri to no avail. Many different opinions exist on the likely scenario. Few agree. I am agnostic at the current time.

The great unknown is the provable motive. Beyond the reported assertions of "sexual assault" no one really seems to know or provide proof positive of the motive.

Ever noticed that the original police incident report is entirely in Janelle's perspective?

Something to ponder...

The main motive?

It was for the "Horror" that was going to be created.

Any sex acts that occurred.
Would have been secondary.

All just speculation on my part.
I have wondered.
