Electricians work 24 hour shifts??

Not sure what kind of hours JI was working, but I know in construction involving a restaurant, they usually have a deadline, and if it's in their contract they have to finish by a certain date, they work however long it takes to finish the job. JMO

I guess his name was not named by MSM. But it doesn't make sense why we can't show stills from the video, considering that the video has been posted by MSM. And stills from the video were posted by MSM. So I don't understand why those were deleted. They don't come from facebook, they come from MSM.

Basically its to protect Websleuths from being sued.

While its supposed to be "innocent until proven guilty" there are a lot of people who will automatically presume because this guy's picture being is shown he has to be guilty or involved in some way. Imagine some one with a casual interest in this story. They follow a link, surf on in, see that picture and suddenly its: "whoa man I know that dude..(calls friends) hey man did you know that ***** is involved in that kid getting kidnapped." And the next thing you know you have a lawsuit on your hands.

My apologies that I'm not all caught up. So the young neighbor gave her a ride to the store? That tells me the wine is for her as he didn't seem so interested. How come he didn't buy anything?

Doesn't she have a car, or is it a 1 car family and her boyfriend was using it? Has that been determined?

Sorry, but I think I'm more confused about this than before. Why did the neighbor drive her if he wasn't going to the store to buy anything? I heard there was a store just down the road (or within .5 mile or something). Why didn't she walk? Is this a more than casual relationship with the neighbor?

Agreed. But I think it is also to protect the innocent people involved in the case. It's not fair to sleuth anyone just because their name is mentioned or they happen to go to the grocery store. It's not right to sleuth volunteers. It's not right to sleuth anyone as it can cause harm to an innocent person. When a case is new and there aren't many leads, people go crazy trying to find stuff out on their own. While that may lead to relevant information or keep us all busy, it's just not right. Nobody should have their information exposed in a criminal case, unless they are the subject of said investigation or a POI.

I trust Websleuths. They have their rules based on many years of experience. Kind of a been there, done that and have concluded this is "their way." It's works here. There are "other" places that allow this type of behavior which I will not mention, but I find it more harmful than helpful.

At the end of the day...this community is the best for me and for that, I go by their rules.

My bet, Jeremy was watching their kids . . .

If Jeremy is watching the kids, why can't she hop in her own car to go down the road? If it's to save money on gas, it doesn't make sense to buy a big ol' box o wine (that's a luxury in our house (not a box, but a bottle). Necessities come first I'm afraid. What's the reason for her to get in a car with a young male neighbor? Sorry, I'm older and I don't find this appropriate behaviour for a mother with a fiance to do. Please don't throw tomatoes.

It seems to me that the primary useful information to come out of this video is that Mom was not stressed out at 4:52 pm, so IMO whatever happened to Lisa had not yet happened. (Whether or not Mom is involved, we can certainly see from her interviews that whatever happened to Lisa is stressing her out.)

I don't understand why this video was released. If this guy is nobody in particular and has nothing to do with Lisa going missing and LE does not need the general public to identify and send in tips about the man's movements, why is it newsworthy? Is it just a red herring to take attention away from something else that is going on behind the scenes or is there some significance to the video that we are missing?

IMO, NBC bought the surveillance footage from the store, knowing it would boost their ratings.

Why not hop into the neighbor's car & save your own fuel?

Regarding the video, Debbie looks nervous to me when she walks into the store. She is twirling her hair, and makes a survey of the store immediately after walking in, with sort of hawk-like eye movements from one side of the store to the other. Or I could be biased and she is simply looking for the wine section.

It really does bother me that MSM will make up and twist things in these fragile cases (missing children) but then again any talk about the case is good as long as Lisa's picture is plastered along with it. It's so confusing at times

Another interesting thing Debbie forgot to mention was to let Jeremy know about the dumpster fire.

2 minutes in DB talks about dumpster fire. Notice how she is looking away from the reporter for this answer. Also, note that Jeremy had not heard about the fire, but Debbie had.

To stay on topic of this thread, it appears Debbie has left out some important details with regards to this case.

BBM: I agree ...

Also .... I find it "very odd" that the video of DB at the store shopping several hours before the last time Baby Lisa was "allegedly" seen was RELEASED ...

SPECULATING here ...

1. Let's just say that DB told LE that she was at the store several hours before Baby Lisa went missing ... and she has a "receipt" to prove it ... And DB gives the receipt to LE ... LE then goes to the store with the receipt, requests video -- which may take a week -- and confirms DB's story. Then WHY would this video of DB in the store BE RELEASED to the public IF DB's story is "confirmed" ?

- or -

2. Let's say that DB did NOT tell LE that she was at the store several hours before Baby Lisa went missing ... LE finds a "receipt" amongst the items they had collected at the house, and it takes time to go through all the papers, evidence, etc. ... and noticed the "date and time" was just hours before Baby Lisa was "allegedly" last seen ... and then LE realized that DB did NOT tell them that "little bit of info" of being at the store several hours before Lisa goes "missing" ... so LE goes out and confirms it ... okay, then WHY RELEASE this video ? Wouldn't this be "something" that LE would want to keep to themselves -- while they are continuing to investigate ?

IMO ... there is a REASON this video was released ... and it has something to do with DB ... and MAYBE "something else" ...

MOO ...

Somebody had asked what kind of wine it was. If the wine was to be drunk immmediately, it must have been red wine IMO, as it was not in the refrigerator at the store. I could be wrong but that is how I interpret that.

cuz if you're interested in saving a small amount of gas (under 2 miles), then what ya out buying box o' wine? Priorities? If you can afford that box, then you can afford that small amount of gas. Unless she had a reason to be in the car with a young man.

Just me and how I'm looking at it. It sure didn't look like he had any shoppin to do at the store. There's no MSM link to say they stopped anywhere else on that trip.

MOO please - thanks.

it could be poured over ice even if Red if they wanted a glass before it chilled. JMO. I think she acts odd upon entering the store and for that matter so did he. If the father wasn't home watching the other kids, who was with them. I agree that if he was at home, why not take her own vehicle to the store.

My husband and I have several friends, some are couples and some are single. We have a very close male friend who would come over all the time and I would think nothing of jumping into the car with him to run to the store while my husband stayed with the kids. My husband wouldn't think anything of it either.

Uugghh! Boxed, iced, red wine-what kind of world do we live in!!!

I think the store release the tape, not the police. Why? They may have done it for free publicity or they were paid for the footage perhaps?

Well actually I know people who don't have drivers licenses. It would make me nuts not to be able to go to the mall all by myself leaving my  husband at home. He doesn't understand mall shopping at all! :floorlaugh:

But there are some women I know that just don't drive.

I have a valid drivers license, but I probably only drive about ten times a year, if that much. I work with my S/O, so he drives us to work every day and usually if I need something I just get it on the way home or we go together later.
I really just hate driving period and will avoid it if I can.

It's funny you say this. When I saw it I thought "flirting" but then did'nt want to be thinking that if it turned out to be a family member. if that makes sense.

I do not think how she's acting is indicitive of what happened to Lisa, just observing. Who knows the nervousness might be because she's not entirely comfortable in the situation.
