There was an interview or deposition where Cindy was talking about the stuff from the trunk and what she did with it.

She said there were some plastic toys she took out of the trunk and because of the smell put them in the playhouse or sandbox to air out.

Does anyone else remember that story?

I don't, but that doesn't mean much because I've only been following the case since the trial started!

But ... Lol, that sounds like a 'Cindy-ism' ... her logical explanation for why the dogs (who alerted on the pounds and pounds of rotting meat, velveeta and pizza crusts in Casey's trunk) alerted near/at the playhouse. Cindy unknowingly transferred rotting velveeta cooties to the playhouse area ... while she was at work inputting data on the Genteva system while at the same time searching for chlorophyll on the home computer and viewing neckbreaking YouTube pop-ups.

How could he be confused when he just had to take out 500 dollars from the bank to pay for the 2 weeks of storage? He had conversations minutes before with people and listened to people argue about the two weeks and how much it cost.

I didn't mean to say he was confused about how long the car was in storage.Perhaps he was upset and confused about the location of Caylee and Casey. This is just a possibility.Nothing more.A horrible smell coming from the car could be upsetting IMO.

Either way, that photo never meant a thing to me. I mean, I could take a photo of my husband holding onto the bumper of his truck...doesn't mean he can lift it. :waitasec:

My point had nothing to do with her opening the door or not. Only deception in the image itself. To make it look as if it was Caylee.

I was agreeing with you, just put my spin on your observation. I probably should have stated that in the beginning. I tend to feel like I need to type really fast on this forum, or by the time I hit Submit Reply, it'll be 5 pages away from the post I was quoting. :D

Er...or maybe not. You edited your post, so now I'm not sure if we were on the same page or not. All I was trying to say was that the use of the photo was shady. IMO

My thinking is casey removed the toys from the sandbox. She put the toys in the blue crate kept in the trunk. Now that we see the play sand bag found at the site, and cindy saying plastic toys in the back, this theory appears it may be accurate. She removed some or most of the sand. That would be why she needed the shovel.

Concerning GA and the opening of the trunk at the towyard, I think he added Casey to the story...covering again. I think his only thoughts were, "Please don't let this be Caylee".

That ladder to the pool was never left up. She told that story to give an out for casey. She was in cover-up mode and didn't leave any stone unturned. Cindy's wheels are always turning.

Well, FCA was arrested on 7/16/08 and since I live in Orlando, I can attest to the fact it is around 95 degrees and 100% humidity toward the end of July. It is not a stretch for me to think maybe CA/LA/GA hopped in the pool to cool off even with Caylee missing and FCA arrested.

Cindy's story about the ladder being left up on 6/16 and calling GA to ask him about it was proven to be a lie as CA's cell records show no calls to GA at work that day.

If "someone" was coming in to their yard and swimming in the pool without permission, they never would have left the ladder up.

IT'S ANOTHER LIE!

More evidence that the As were colluding on a pool story at 8 mins in on this video. Also coming up with shovel story. Some real soul selling went on here no wonder GA went nuts and tried to kill himself. You lose your integrity you have lost everything.

Yes he did, but he knew it could not be Casey because Cindy had talked to her everyday for the last 2 weeks the car had been in the lot.

This is a great question & I have the answer. If you go back to the beginning when GA was first questioned by the police, you'll hear that he did NOT say Casey at all. I believe it was the day he snuck to the police station & was physically sick.
He says "as I was going towards he trunk, I said a prayer, please don't let this be MY CAYLEE"
The reason I remember this is because when he started to change it to "my Casey & Caylee" I wondered why.
I still have not figured that out, unless he thought he would be accused of knowing it was Caylee & not Casey.

Here is a mystery I wish the police, FBI or the SA had tried to solve but never did.

If they had it might have led somewhere.

In his interview with the police and the FBI, in his depositions and in court George told one story over and over and it never changed according to one fact.

When George went to open the trunk he said a little prayer that neither Casey or Caylee were in the trunk.

He stuck to that story to the end.

Here is what is so strange about that. George and Cindy had just gotten the letter from the tow yard and knew the car had been there two weeks.
George went into the office and found out the cost for the two weeks the car had been there.

George had to call Cindy to get the money. Cindy and George went and argued with the people at the tow yard about the cost for the 2 weeks and the letter being sent out late they thought.

When George went to open that trunk he knew full well that car had been in the lot for 2 weeks.

Why did he think Casey might be in the trunk?

You know full well Cindy had been telling George that whole time she was talking to Casey.
If George thought Casey might have been in that trunk then he had to have thought Cindy was lying to him and had killed her.

I found GA's cell records.
GA was talking to KC too!
I believe the last
4 digits of KC's cell were 9286
If that is correct he spoke to her on
7/3 @2:39p -2min
@5:15p -2min
7/7 @8:24a - 4min
7/8 @9:05a - 6min
7/14 @ 8:21a - 3min

The report begins on June 1. From the looks of the report, GA does not speak to KC by cell until July 3rd.

GA had the longest call with KC on 7/8- If the car was towed the 30th
and mail was sent out the 5th -due to July 4th holiday I wonder if this is the day he really got the letter?

The morning of July11th he made several calls to work?
(2900) last 4 digits, I'm not sure. and a couple to
directory assistance. He did not speak with KC on his cell that day.

It's a downloadable file but I just opened it and it works fine.

Very interesting. In your opinion, why would George say that, and keep sticking to it, that he said a prayer that neither Casey nor Caylee would be in that trunk? It seems as though he were trying to distance himself from talks with Casey, from information she was telling him.......

I'm not gonna even try to guess. IMO having an odor in a car that's bad enough to warrant someone needing to say a prayer before opening the trunk it is a big red flag.
Driving off with it after you have already admitted there is no mistaking what the smell was IMO is criminal.
Only finding a trash bag in the back doesn't excuse it.
Not contacting KC immediately wasn't necessary- wait
deal with it later.
A common theme surrounding Caylee.

Speaking of the car, the tow truck driver should have called 911 as soon as he towed the car. We know it smelled at that time as well - June 30 I believe.

Exactly ... we just had another case today close to Orlando where local residents of an apartment buiding called 911 due to a horrible odor coming from a vehicle. Police broke into the vehicle and found a dead body.

FCA's car sat at Amscot for 2-3 days and then was towed. Why did no one smell the car and call 911 ? Or was it because it was parked next to the dumpster ? Certainly, someone at the tow yard smelled it in the 15 days it sat there ?

I read about that and so desperately wanted to be able to ask the police, "Did it smell the same as FCA's car?"

IIRC, the tow truck driver had a bad cold at the time the car was picked up and couldn't smell a thing. Just another "luck of the draw" for KC.

It would certainly explain things. Did that come out at trial? I don't recall hearing about it.

Simon did smell it before George & Cindy picked it up.
He said he smelled it when he did his 3 day inspection.
He also said at that time he could not smell it untill he got close enough to put his head against the window & sheild his eyes.
By the time G & C picked up 2 weeks later G could smell it from 3 feet away.
I don't think the smell was that bad when FCA had it in her possesion.
It took a few weeks of baking in the sun to make it really ripe.
