Everybody has been great here over the last 3 years. Thanks to all of your work & personal time, searching for the missing & then searching for the evidence. I wont be able to follow cases for a few years now. It was the same after Simpson, I completely skipped over Scott Peterson. Now I find I cant invest my heart into following something. I'll stick to watching forensic files, where the bad guy always gets whats coming to them. My only hope is that one day I read in the paper about some karma that has befallen that sick, twisted ICA.

Be well everyone !

DT CELEBRATING POPPING CHAMPAGNE RIGHT NOW AT TERRACE whatever its called!!!

We need FBI,County Courthouses,Colleges Campus around this country to start teaching classes on different aspects of a trail..from how to read a police officers report to a ME who say how our victims die and everything in between..and you must have a few yrs to become a professional juror!

I don't understand.

If they freaking found her GUILTY of lying to police about where Caylee was, and her involvement in her so called "abduction", giving false information to LE in the attempt to find a 2 year old baby, HOW ON EARTH CAN SHE BE INNOCENT?

As GA said, 1+1=2.

There is NO JUSTICE.

NONE.

And watching them dance and hug and now they are drinking CHAMPAGNE in a bar, to "celebrate" their big victory- a big victory of a dead child and nobody being punished for it.

How do you sleep at night Baez? How?

So who killed Caylee?! Who will pay the price for her death? Will George be prosecuted? It's very puzzling..

I will not read any books or watch any movies about this case. I don't want any of my hard earned dollars to become blood money. If any of the pros team or Yuri wanted to share, I might read that but nothing could make me contribute to any Anthony. I only hope that enough other people believe that way to keep any of them from profiting from the death of this beautiful little girl. Caylee deserved so much better than this.

I've heard some pundits on HLN say that as a lawyer you have to get the jury to like you. A few of the reporters said the jury did not like Jeff Ashton. I always thought that Jose Baez would be liked by the jurors because he always smiled at them. I don't know if this has much to do with it, but maybe so!

Bob Kealing just stated that the defense has a 'plan' for KC when she is released...maybe sending her to California, where he says the case isn't as well known.

As to me: I sobbed at the reading of the verdict. My Sister-in-law and my daughter's Mom-in-law both called me and I was unable to speak. Justice was not done today. The jurors better hope no one will learn what their names are. Jose and company will now be 'media darlings' and KC will make $$$$ on any and every TV show she can appear on. I just hope Lady Karma enacts her revenge, cuz Lady Justice sure didn't speak for Caylee Marie.

Oh BTW, the jury foreman was #11, the coach who supposedly is quite a 'hotty', unmarried, maybe he will now marry the B*tch!

I alternate between sobbing without control and a great deal of anger.

I feel so very badly for Jeff, Linda and Frank G. for all the time they spent and to have it come to this is unconscionable. Ditto for all the work done by Yuri, John A., and all who spent their time on their knees gathering almost all Sweet Caylee's bones.

As far as GA and CA...I hope KC will have to end up living back with CA...I hope GA moves as far from CA as possible, and I truly hope that Lee grabs Mallory and totally gets far away from all of them, and disowns his murderous sister. :maddening:

I do not blame the jurors - when I watched JB give his close on Sunday, I thought he raised lots of reasonable doubt. Pros did not prove their case & Ashton's smirking did not help it along.

I agree with you about Baez. His closing argument was surprisingly well-constructed and delivered. A far cry from the bumbling, non-sequitur hell that was his presence during the course of witness testimony.

I'm not sure how, but he pulled it together enough for the jury to find reasonable doubt.

Certainly not what I saw coming...

My heart is broken. Caylee is dead and it's horrific enough that ICA will go free but to have to deal with knowing that JB's actions and the way he presented this case has been all but glorified, makes me physically ill. CM remarks at the press conference were offensive.

And then add that I was unable to connect with all the wonderful people here at Websleuths due to the server crashing, means there was no where to turn for support and the whole thing has left me feeling pretty devestated. :(

Does anyone know if there is a three strikes law in Florida? Wouldn't the check charges be one strike, and lying to police be another strike? So if she messes up again (and she will), that would be strike #3?

I feel so bad for LDB, JA and FG. I wish there was something I could for them. A lying murderer walks. Great day for everyone. NOT.

I can't stand this. I will not watch one second of TV coverage to see Baez and his team gloat over this travesty of justice. And in the end, Casey Anthony gets away with murder, (imo). And the most sickening thing to me (well, one of the most) is Mason gets to escort Casey out of jail arm in arm just as he predicted. It's not right, and these jurors should be ashamed of themselves, imo. Karma will come for Casey, I just hope it is in my lifetime.

After hearing Mason's smarmy dissertation today, I can only hope that Karma comes his way, and more of the friends of he and wife, will be lost to them because of their disdain for him being part of this travesty of justice. Here's hoping a huge umbrella falls from Heaven and pierces his black heart! :maddening:

How ironic would it be that the only Anthony who serves time will be CA?

I get that most people feel that she is guilty, because she probably is.

But you can't convict someone in a court of law on a personal opinion, which I am very much thankful for.

I'm also happy to see 12 jurors actually base their verdict on the actual evidence, instead of just voting along with their emotion and public opinion.

Again, I do feel like she is probably guilty, but the evidence just wasn't there to convict. It just wasn't presented beyond a reasonable doubt.

For all of the people calling the jurors cowards and all of that nonsense, all I can do is shake my head. These people are going to have to deal with this for the rest of their lives. Do you really think that they think she is 100% innocent? Of course not. But they couldn't say that the prosecution proved it beyond a reasonable doubt. They gave their verdict based on how our court system is supposed to work, which I am actually very thankful for. I'm sure they are extremely upset, as would I be. But they did what they were supposed to by law, without voting based on their gut feelings.

And for the people suggesting that there should be some type of street-justice enacted against this family, all I can do is shake my head at that too.

This is actually why the justice system works. No one should be sent to jail for the rest of their lives, or even death, based on a bunch of hunches and personal opinions.

If this "wonderful and fair" jury could not agree to 1st or 2nd degree murder, okay. whatever. But how could they believe that she , the mother, the caretaker of a 3 year old little girl is NOT guilty of aggravated manslaughter? I do not get it! They think someone else besides ICA dumped the body and should have been watching little Caylee more than her own mother? How can the caretaker not be responsible?
