TBI spokesperson Josh DeVine tweeted he planned to hold a news conference around 11:15 a.m. in Knoxville on the Amber Alert, which is still active.

This reminds me so much of Daniell Van Dam, who at age 7 was kidnapped, held, raped, murdered and thrown away by David Westerfield, her neighbor.
Horrible crime.

I am seriously praying that this man is not another David Westerfield.

Well, except Westerfield made real attempts to cover his tracks - he snuck into the house and took her while all the adults were in the basement. He didn't just boldly sign her out of school and then disappear with her. There are certainly innumerable men who snatch girls and harm them, but few do it so transparently, IMHO.

In this video report,, reporter says heavy police presence overnight in a certain location. C.'s dad and sister were present but so far no word on what , if anything, came from the heavy police presence in Rogersville** ( sp)
