Dace Martinez of Mt. Juliet, TN, has been missing from his West Division Street home since August 25th. He did not take his cell phone or extra cash. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mt. Juliet police department 615-754-2550.

Mount Juliet is a suburb of Nashville, TN.

What in the actual eff did I just watch/read for the last 30 minutes? Is this a MH crisis? What was the cop in the FB live video clip about? I’m so confused. His little boy is adorable and I hope his daddy is just being young somewhere and not actaully missing. It feels chaotic and something seems mega-off about his recent posts. I need a drink after reading all that..

Okay, so I think all of the yellow emoji posts are referring to a person who he knows, ER. That gentleman has not posted on FB in quite sometime I saw just by searching the names he eluded to in the weird posts. I’m thinking it was Dace posting that ER was essentially hacking and or screwing with his FB. I think his ‘call 911’ was reference was maybe taken seriously by someone and that’s why he was with the cop on the porch? Would a cop say something like, okay man we’re getting all these calls, can you let your FB people know you’re okay? IDK That’s all I’ve deciphered. Then he just goes poof and disappears? Weird.

Martinez left his residence without his mobile phone, cash, or extra clothing, which is suspicious.

He was described as being 6'1" tall and weighs around 140 pounds.

I think his FB is alarming. He is/was definitely in some sort of crisis (mental or drug induced). The comments from his friends sounded concerned. He is paranoid and his thoughts are all over the place. That ER person appears to live in Florida, according to his FB. I don't know what to think about his last post. It could go a couple of directions... imo
I am sure that the police did not see anything that they could do a 72 hour hold for. One must be a danger to himself and/others. Their hands are tied when it comes to that touchy subject.

Wow, umm, possible psychosis? Especially regarding ER. His behaviour is certainly fueled by paranoia I would say. IF he thought someone was after him, he very well may have gone underground somewhere.

It does seem like a possible psychotic episode. With the comments about ER controlling his phone and what I think are screenshots trying to show his phone is being controlled (that don’t actually indicate that), and the huge change in his posts from a few days before (there’s a link to his Twitter also). 29 is a bit old for psychotic disorder onset, but definitely not out of the realm of possibility. I hope he’s ok...

Here’s the thing ER was arrested and charged with cyber stalking his ex gf, apparently he controlled her phone like dace is saying his was.

These are my thoughts....I lived with someone who relapsed on meth and had an extreme psychotic break with reality. Made FB posts very similar to this, the HELP, and CALL 911. Posted my home address and that I was trying to kill him. People called 911 and I managed to get the police to take him on a 72 hour mental health hold. After that he vanished but continued using for weeks all over, and eventually ended up arrested. To me, it is possible, and likely he knows of ER charges, and that became something for him to zone in on during his psychosis as happening to him. My thought is meth psychosis, but I could be wrong....and the thing is once you have a psychosis it tends to happen when using, and sometimes the break is so bad you never return. Happened to my friends brother who one day stayed in a permanent state of psychosis until he passed two years later. Hopefully he turns up somewhere and this has nothing to do with ER.
