This is what I was getting at with my post earlier. An alibi.I doubt these 2 had to go all the way to Wilkes County NC to scrounge money from Grandma. Looks to me like they had a pretty soft touch right at their finger tips with DJ.

I might have missed it but do we have any info (arrests/convictions) of AB or WM"s involvement with Meth?
I might have missed it but do we have any info (arrests/convictions) of AB or WM"s involvement with Meth? AB had an arrest for taking a pill into a jail but that is the only drug charge that I recall.
Its truly heartbreaking.TBI: ‘We aren’t any closer to determining where Evelyn is at this point’
Very sad. Looks like from what I read they don’t have the same amount of people on the case at this point they talk about at one point having as many as 50 people but it’s probably much less ..because the case is just going cold. This is what I feared would happen. Poor little Evelyn :-(
For those of you unfamiliar with the Haleigh Cummings case, you might find this interesting reading while you wait for updates on Evelyn.
10 years later: Haleigh Cummings' disappearance still a mystery
Does anyone know what will happen if/when MB is found guilty of her current charge. Like the amount of time she could serve, if any?
Traded Evelyn for drugs? omg what a horrible thought. Maybe they are uncovering a lot they didn't realize was going on and seperate charges for drugs could come up later for people involved? It doesn't strike any one else as curious that the FBI Drug Investigation Unit was brought into a missing child case ?
Just me ?

I hope they put her in there for years.Making a false report is a Class D felony under Tennessee law. It carries 2-12 years in jail with a full range of punishment .
I guess I am not surprised? It will certainly be interesting to see if there are new developments. I hope so.
Its one of those days for me too. I keep correcting things and things that didn't need be. lolI have to keep editing because I keep typing FBI when I mean to type TBI.
The only thing I ever saHas anything ever been said about MB having issues with drugs or alcohol?
AB's father DJ said he heard HW say he was giving them the car. I had at first every reason to believe him until a few days later when AB made her first court appearance she said MB gave her the car. To me it seems saying HW gave it to her would be the better defense then saying MB gave it to her.* AB...no place of employment.
* WM...no place of employment.
* MB...worked at chicken shack (says she)
* HW...kinda sorta owns chicken shack (but not really)
* HW "gives" AB and WM a car that is registered to his brother, but actually belongs to their mother. (why on earth would HW "give" these 2 a car ? )
* AB and WM are picked up in the very same car in Wilkes County NC. (what on earth could they have been doing there ?)
* Sheriff Cassidy states that family members seem aggravated with LE for asking questions and conducting searches.
* FBI Drug Investigation Unit was brought into this case.
This isn't rocket science, folks.
MOO and JMO and OMO , etc. etc. etc.
My opinion the answers are with MB. I think for sure AB had suspicions but because of her own troubles with the law and being wanted didn't herself alert authorities.
WOW Druggie face or what. Yikes!!!!I am having trouble locating earlier charges now that AB was arrested in connection with the Amber Alert/BOLO. I just did a quick search on my phone and found this one...
Arrested: Sullivan County mugshots, July 5 - 13
