Circumstances of Disappearance
Olivette Turner was last seen on May 1, 1989 in Nashville, TN. She had spoken to family about visiting an aunt in Pennsylvania and possibly moving there.

On May 17, 1989, Olivette was reported missing by her sister after family members had not seen or heard from her in several days. The aunt in Pennsylvania said Olivette had not shown up at her home and was unaware of her coming to visit.

Olivette Lyvonia Turner was last seen on May 1, 1989, in Nashville, Tennessee. She told her family she planned to visit her aunt in Pennsylvania. On May 17, 1989, Turner was reported missing by her sister after family had not heard from her and she had not shown up at her aunt’s home. Her aunt was unaware of Turner’s potential visit. Investigation disclosed that Turner was known to visit truck stops and hitchhike with truckers as a mode of transportation.
 
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Known to her friends as “Olli”, a vibrant Tennessee mother with a captivating smile was last seen May 1, 1989.

Olivette Turner was 30-years-old living in the Nashville area at the time of her disappearance.

“She had made mention about going up to Pennsylvania to either visit or live with an aunt,” said Detective Matthew Filter with Metro Nashville Police Department’s Cold Case Homicide Missing Persons Unit.

Olivette Lyvonia Turner, known as "Olli" to family and friends, is a Nashville, Tennessee mother of a daughter.

Olivette told her family in Nashville that she was going to go see an aunt in Pennsylvania. She spoke with her sister on May 1, 1989, around 5:00 pm, who she was supposed to visit later the same day, the Charley Project reports. Olivette never showed up.

Unidentified female found 2003 in Baltimore, MD. PMI states “years”. Estimated height is 5’4” with red/auburn hair, short, dark, curly with reddish tint.

Clothing:
Red Large insulated jacket, long sleeve dress type jacket. (Could this be the same one Olivette is wearing in the photo above)?

Details of Disappearance​

Turner was last seen in Nashville, Tennesee on May 1, 1989. She spoke to her sister on the phone at 5:00 p.m. and was supposed to visit her sister later, but never showed up. She said she was going to visit her aunt in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but she didn't arrive there either, and her aunt wasn't even aware she was supposed to be coming. Her sister reported her missing on May 17.

At the time of her disappearance, Turner lived in the 3000 block of Sunnyview Drive. She didn't have a vehicle of her own and had been known to hitchhike, particularly with truck drivers. She left behind a young daughter. Her case remains unsolved.
