Why would Summer need to be watched while she was inside her own home? She was 5-yrs old and according to her mother, had worn a path from the basement door to her swing by herself.
I'm stymied over that too. In the church videos Summer ran all over the place and neither parent seemed to react or be concerned about where she was or if she left the building to go outside. But at her own home instead of being relaxed there too mom is hypervigilant over where Summer is every minute.

CB felt she needed to walk Summer to the house, which meant walking her across the driveway. Literally. How wide is the driveway, 10 feet or so? Another 5 feet to the door?

What was so dangerous on their property that CB not only had to escort Summer to the house but also had to check on her within 2 to 5 minutes? Summer's brothers were all in the house too.

IMO a parent becomes that hypervigilant after an upsetting event. Had Summer gotten hurt in the house at some earlier time? So strange IMO.

I think in many families older siblings are asked by parents to watch their younger siblings, even if only for a few minutes.

She mentions a child molester living eight minutes away, but says nothing about SW sleeping in the same bed as her,and DW. Not only that she said SW had a completely different sleeping area altogether. SMH. MOO
A child molester lives 8 minutes away, yet they feel comfortable leaving 3 boys home alone for close to 8 hours....

BBM. CW also complained that the back door of the truck was difficult to open because of the lawnmower. Red flags are waving. JMO

Strange.
These are odd actions of 'victims' and make little sense.
Not in any form or fashion.
What about the danger to the boys, regardless if they were locked up tight ?
Breaking and entering can involve smashing through windows or picking locks.
MOO.

It seems there may be some confusion on watching the boys discussions. Hope this helps…

(Video link embedded in sentence.)

I said W***, he looked at me and I said watch Sissy, I’ll be right back. And that’s when I walked back over to my mom’s and I was fixing her brace and stuff like that, I said well Mom, I gotta go back over with the kids and that’s when I come back up into the house with the boys .” (16:41)
She also said all three boys were there so I didn't get the impression she was singling out just one child to watch her for five minutes. She said that Summer was especially close to the youngest boy so maybe that's why she mentioned his name. Or maybe he was the only one paying attention at that moment. I didn't get the impression she was singling out one child as the one who was "supposed" to be watching Summer. Imo

This thread is for Summer and that's all we care about, but since she's missing and so little information has come from LE (odd, as in other cases there's been a bit more released, imo ?), we need to sleuth what we can and that's what we're doing.

It's all about Summer Moon and finding her and/or justice.
Part of me hopes she's alive but has been hidden by a relative or friend ... but why ?

Regardless of what anyone does or doesn't know --- it might be that one person turning on the other could be the break this case needs.
I'm worried about it growing cold... but unless LE start asking the public to come forward with more tips and say they're stymied --- I'm thinking they're still going through the gps and other electronic data.
Hoping this is solved soon and justice if needed.
MOO.

I think it more likely while CW and CH discussed things. JMO

Why send the boys down the hill to the creek? She already acknowledged they were in the kitchen preoccupied with whatever game they were playing, youtube, etc. CW could've easily had discussions with CH in CH's camper if that was the case.

MOO

I don't believe this case will grow cold. It was in danger of heading that way and that's why I think CM and the Cold Case program got involved. For me, the dots are getting easier to connect and that's because of the patient explanations of CM. JMO

In earlier interviews CB said (the reporter is quoting her directly here):

“And [Summer] wanted to go back over and see her brothers, and I said, ‘OK,’ and I walked her all the way over to the porch, and I watched her walking into the kitchen where the boys were watching TV. I told the boys, I said, ‘Watch Summer; I’ll be back.’ And within two minutes, I came back, and I asked the boys where their sister was, and they said, ‘She went downstairs, Mom, to play with her toys in the playroom.’
Mother of missing 5-year-old Summer Wells speaks on camera for first time | WJHL | Tri-Cities News & Weather

So initially she told msm that she told "the boys" to watch Summer but later in the interview with Chris she clarified that she had asked the middle boy to watch her. I don't know what any of that means, I'm just quoting CB's own statements.

It’s in the time stamps I posted today from the second interview with CM. CBW said they were “locked in, nobody in, nobody out.”

Hunter's words: Summer is "missing"
CW's words: Summer is "gone"

Y'all!!!!!!!! HEADS UP!!!!

We need THREE "time lines."

There is another "he said she said."

Allie said, she did not remember if Summer Moon left her clothes at her house after allegedly a change to a swim suit at her house. Later with Chris she says CW stopped by at 10:30 out of nowhere. Hunter apparently didn't tell her about the text. Later that day she said Hunter was dropped off at 2:00pm and they stayed 5 or 10 mins. (Allie's granny is sitting close to Allie correcting her entire set of answers.)

GO LISTEN TO CHRIS MCDONOUGH INTERVIEW ALLIE, LESLIE & GRANNY!!!!

Allie says, CW tried to make conversation when Hunter was dropped off, which is the reason she would have showed up that day.

Notice, Allie knows nothing or says nothing about the waterpark.

Granny says that they had to leave right away. Consistent with CW.

Leslie is proof they all sit around talking about CW. They know too much for not being present at events described.

CW says, she tries to call Allie over but Allie wants no discussion.

(listen to how she change her answers after she realizes that she may have incriminated her son.)
START LISTENING @ (22:00)

WATCH... GRANNY!!!!!!!

Allie said, she sees Summer like her own daughter. (When she was alerted to Summer Moon being missing by her son, she never bothered to call CW immediately. She waited (after practice and ordering her food at a drive food) a good while when it was late at night."

Allie went out of her way to tell Chris that she was at a ball park and turned her phone off for "several hours."

"Boy, stop pulling my leg, I do not want to talk to her"

IMPORTANT ....... CRITICAL!!!!!

Hunter said: (when he received the call at 7:00 pm...."he and his girlfriends family were just pulling into the park???????

Leslie said: Hunter called (leslie's) her phone at 7:29 pm, she checked her phone to confirm.

Allie says, Hunter was at his girlfriend's house.

Where was Hunter between 3pm and 7pm. LE still has his phone...…

Allie says, Hunter mentioned nothing about the water hole, horse pond, when she asked how his day went.

Allie says Hunter was at his "girlfriends house." Allie can't remember his girlfriends NAME.

NEW ANGLE!!!!!!!

ADDITION:

MY addition:
LISTEN TO GRANNY'S DRIVEWAY ISSUES
LISTEN TO HOW THE DOGS BEHAVE WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO BE FED.

Summer was last in a whole line of children, she was a free bird flitting around wherever she wanted, I bet barely anyone could keep up to be honest.
I’m certain CW said these things in interviews to appear a very diligent parent with a watchful eye… and overshot it completely.

Yes, we have to rely on msm and LE for updates and at this time it appears that they haven't warned the immediate community of kidnappers ?
So, no danger for other residences ?

Did the boy in Kingsport get an alert from LE or MSM that a man was going to attempt to abduct him less than 48 hours after Summer went missing?

Hasn't the sheriff said EVERYONE is a suspect?

You can only rely on and use your own due diligence to maintain your own / your family's safety.

Just because you haven't been warned of a possible threat doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I can only go by my own experience. SW wasn't a toddler, she was a 5-yo inside her own home, not a prison but it sure sounds like one. JMO
It sounds like anything but a prison to me. The kids were allowed to play on the property, ride bikes through the woods, play down by the creek, fish and swim, play games and watch TV whenever they wanted. They had eleven acres to play on and more.

I wasn't even allowed to watch TV during the day when I was a kid. When I was five my older brothers were told all the time to watch me, especially during the summer when we had a lot of free time. Even when I was ten they were expected to look out for me. In fact every family I know has expected older siblings to watch younger siblings so I can't imagine why it wouldn't be considered normal.

I'm not sure how it's relevant whether it was the oldest, middle or youngest brother who was told to watch Summer. Neither parent has implied they were at fault for Summer's disappearance.

IMO both CW & DW overstate things to the point of being questionable. Things like 2 - 5 minutes to check on Summer, walking her across the yard to the front door, 5 minutes in the grocery store, Summer never does anything without asking first, DW did a 40 minute drive in 25, etc, etc. Maybe this is an automatic response, a reflex due to past run ins with the authorities. Just a thought.

Depending what happens with DW if he is charged of other crimes, she may have to start punching a clock and working a nine to five job to support her family.

Then she will be aware of the time.

This is exactly why she likely didn't have a sense of time. Most people who are employed can account for certain times because they have a set schedule to adhere to and be accountable for. In my own free time, I couldn't tell you what I did one moment to the next. Kids weren't in school, she was a stay at home mom, so watching the clock for her obviously wasn't a habit. JMO

I think CB choosing the word "smothered" is significant. It doesn't have to mean CB committed a crime.

Her boys were still at home then, maybe she cries into a pillow or towel so they will not hear her. Or maybe it has something to do with what she said in her interview with LE that she isn't allowed to repeat to media (including internet, YT).

CB uses language in kind of a unique way, but "smothers" is important. I also recall CB's sister RB has been missing for years. And there are other extremely sad and traumatic things that have happened to CB. Maybe she has been hiding her sadness for years.

I don't think suffocation leaves a lot of evidence, no. My cousin was ultimately killed by suffocation. I bring her up because Kathy suffered a lot of pain before she died. Her killer probably wanted her to be quiet.
