oh yes . . . many LEO after a shooting or trauma . . . many people process the trauma hours or even days or weeks later.

Time magazine article he was reading @ physical therapy and he thought it was great way to explain . .article police academy trainer went on a routine shop lifting case . . suddenly saw the perpetrator pull out a gun and describe the experience of what goes on in the brain . ..

the site of the gun was a stressful situation . .. back of the brain signal . . . to the amygdala. . .flood hippocampus . . .facilitate changes in his body . . .fight or flee (still no freeze which is just as likely to happen!)

this man is a trained police officer who trains other police officers and it happened to him . . .brain tends to . . . . time . . . . .felt whole life pass before me or it was in slow motion . .. flood of hormones change our perception of things . . . not allow us to reflect on things - come up with a poem or a song . . .old part of the brain shared by all vertebrates - fish included . . .. . after an adrenaline rush his body began to shake . . ..

he had no control over these physiological
we don't have control that is why people's perceptions over power their reasoning

So Jodi is ust following her pattern.

When Nurmi & Dr Love confronted her and told her version #2 wasnt going to fly she changed her story YET AGAIN to comport to their known facts. And I'm sure Dr Love assured her he could help her mold her story.

When people confront her, she uses her chameleon skills to determine what that person will fall for. With a cop, she thought that a burgler scenario might work, with a sex therapist, she went for the angle of sex.

Yes. "Everything felt like slow motion" blah blah blah. But that doesn't mean our brain doesn't allow us to be aware of what is going on and have a memory of it during/after an "adrenaline crisis." Did the police officer get shot? If so, he was in shock, not having the issues JA claims to. JA wasn't injured in this, so it's completely irrelevant.

The worst moment of my life was when I had to resuscitate my daughter (she was 1 at the time) on the ground of a freeway in rush hour traffic because she choked on food I didn't realize she had stored in her cheeks. Everything was in slow motion and it felt like we were there for hours. But I remember every damn second of that event and actually needed therapy to stop obsessing about it. This guy is stating what he thinks as if it were fact, which is wrong!
