I read on the last thread the that the court is missing an evidence file AND that detective Flores was looking for it. Someone thought the detective had it or Samuels may have got it mixed up in his files.

I think either the judge or the sheriffs office needs to see this. It appears she puts her jacket over her arm after she took the folder. (Some place to hide it for the defense lawyer?). If she can't get it out of there or into the jail why is she taking it.

Sneaking snake. If it belongs to the detective or the state or even her own expert she needs to be STOPPED from this totally childish BS!:twocents:

After all, whatever is in there has some meaning or she wouldn't take the chance of stealing it IMO

What a debacle to be thrown into, and just when they thought it couldn't get worse, along comes this dimwitted imbecile, who they thought to be an expert, to further embarrass their professional names. That's got to be rough.

DD's male juror saying he's talked to convicts in lock up who say she's going to get 2nd degree, 25 year max, w/ option of parole. This is agreed upon by his co-host who said the jury will have a hard time giving her the DP because she's a woman. :banghead:

(A tiny bit OT but not really) OK here we go: I had an appt. today with my therapist. I've been working through issues with a bad car accident when my DH passed out while driving 6 mo ago. A heart specialist just did extensive testing and said he could drive again, so a week ago he bought a truck identical to the one that was totaled. Sooooooooo, I'm telling the story today of my first time riding with him and had a horrible panic attack. She started explaining that in a "remote part of our brain...." I shouted is it the HIPPOCAMPUS???!!! I was sooo proud of myself and she was shocked I knew that word!!!!!

SCORE!!!! You are the only person in the world that got any value from the Dr's testimony. :floorlaugh:

I kind of feel like he ended his cross a little earlier than he planned on today out of frustration. Frustrated with those pissy Wilmott objections every two seconds, and frustrated that the doc didn't bring the notes on a very key piece of information that Juan was going to question him on: the pedophilia. In heat that's over 100 degrees??? Arizona heat is very different from that of California. It's a very dry heat, not humid at all, and can get unbearable in the summer months. My cousins who lived there would leave Arizona just for the summer it gets so bad...

I''ll take 100 in AZ ANY day - over 85 in NY with such stifling humidity that even the wooden baseboard gets 'soft'. Blecch. Take a shower and you can't get dry. Clothes feel damp even straight out of the drawer.

Then again I grew up in a big old farmhouse surrounded by ponds and trees and bushes - and no A/C. My mother finally got an air conditioner for one room.

It IS a dry heat in AZ - it gets WAY too hot in the summer - this is true. I think of it as "opposite day" (or season) - you stay in in the summer (like you do in NY in the winter). Only you don't have to shovel sunshine.

No one wears long sleeves in June - unless they're going to an ice-cold restaurant and have it just in case the A/C is cranked up TOO high.

It's MARCH and it was close to 80 today. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer. Night temps are lovely. Saw t-shirts today - including my own. In June? Forget about it. "Sweater"? Hoodie? Only if one is indoors and trying to conceal guns and knives - otherwise - no flipping way.
