Ever since I posted that comment I only see a blank white screen. My IP address is banned. The only way I can access their website is by using a proxy. I don't know why I torture myself to even read the carp on that site but sometimes I get drawn there to see how they can twist this for Jodi.

I turn my wifi off and use my cellular data to access the site. I cannot believe the carp over there. It is scary, and I constantly read there to remind myself not to get too confident that there will be conviction. :what:

Wouldn't it be interesting to see Dr. Phil interview the thang?

"Girl you better answer my question before I
slap you into next week." "This ain't my first rodeo."

Exactly! Thank you. She is not eating on purpose. Maybe because of anorexia....or anxiety...or guilt...or self-flagellation...or a cry for attention...or a ploy from the DT. Whatever the reason, she is choosing not to eat.

ALV will say loss of appetite is a symptom of DV. Which it is....but JA is not the victim here. She never was.

Moo.

I vote "cry for attention". Where is that fish slapping smilie? I'm on ipad :(

I would expect that the diary was seized when she was arrested. If that was the case, then she would have had at most about six weeks to "manufacture" it. Seems way out there to me in terms of probability. MOO

well we know that she lied in it at least close to when she was arrested because she writes "Travis is dead?! what happened?! travis what is this?!..
She then goes on to write On 6/11.08 "Last night was so hard... I wanted so badly to call Travis, but knowing he wouldn't answer was too much to bear. And knowing he wasn't calling me anytime soon was just killing me. I broke down as I climbed into bed and just cried and cried and cried until I fell asleep."
6/12/08 She writes "It just feels like he hasn't called me in too long, I hear him singing I hear him laughing"

I think after the killing she started the lies in her journal to cover up the fact that she killed him and hoped the journal would be found to support her "I wasn't there don't know what happened" story.

Ok.. Y'all got me O/T on this accent stuff so... I'm from IN but where I'd like to say you're only 1 1958 Studebaker tank of gas from.. Rock Castle County KY Berea, KY

With that being said I've enjoyed the comments on accents but We have oddities such as:

Warsher: washer
Spigot: faucet/tap
Sweeper: vacuum
Davenport: couch/sofa
Commode: toilet
Tabogan: Knit winter hat
Mangos: Green Peppers
Paw Paws: Plantains
CoCola: Coca Cola
Sawmill Gravy: Sausage gravy minus sausage
Run thru Garden: Sammich w/ all avail vegis
Het: Heated up (food like I Het up tater soup in microwave)
Buttermilk w/ salt, pepper & cornbread
Mush: left over grits fried in patties in bacon grease served with olio & syrup

IDK those are a few "Oddities" for my folk Thought I'd share ;) :floorlaugh:

First time taking my husband to meet my extended family in Arkansas my grandma said to him "Weight your plate".

He whispered, "she wants me to weigh my plate?"

Then he saw the fried gizzards and okra (a veg he hadn't ever even tried) and whispered, "Do you guys fry everything?"

I can only speak to my own experience as a migraine sufferer since onset of puberty, so, you know, 137 years......:floorlaugh:

But while I do have blinding aura, sensitivity to light and sound, nausea and debilitating pain, I also have lived in the real world where people poo-pooh excusing oneself for a "headache". People who don't "get" what a migraine is are hard to educate, typically, as they will equate your pain with a tension or sinus headache.

And not to belittle those types of headaches, but they are miles apart, pain-wise.

I just gave up trying to explain and just forged thru in agony, in order to not be labeled a "whiner".

It sounds pathetic and it actually is. I will say that thankfully there are more folks like you these days, who recognize the difference, than there were decades ago when I was met with much eye rolling.

However, I am a self-admitted pain WEENIE, and yet I can and have pushed through some pretty bad migraines when much more was required of me than sitting at a table under florescent lighting. And I wasn't on trial FOR MY LIFE.

I think Jodi needs to buck up. This is her circus, of her making, and she has inconvenienced enough people already. Not to mention the one person she slaughtered. So, you know. She probably IS stressed, and she should be. Cripes, my worst string of migraines were during my divorce and I made every meeting and sat at the big scary table and signed the big sheaf of papers and I didn't even kill a guy.

Anger not directed at YOU at all!

I just started ranting.....:blushing:

Sowwy. :blushing:

I am sorry you have to deal with this. I get migraines about 3 times a month, which isn't too bad in terms of frequency. Been getting them since age 10 or so. So, 38 years of experience. I hate them and the effect they have on my life. I wish there was a preventative with no side effects....I've tried them all and none are acceptable to me. :banghead:

:floorlaugh: That is my hope. I can't lie that it skeeves me out that she will be housed at the prison in the city I live in, Goodyear AZ.

Maybe you could write a book about this...the energy coming from behind the gayes.

Most jails keep that schedule, I'm not sure why but It's not to do with court. I've always thought it must have something to do with dividing work among the guards into neat divisions as they rotate through their shifts.

If you think about it, there's probably A LOT of stuff that has to happen.
Getting the prisoners that are off to court, securing them (chaining them together?), checking that they're not sneaking contraband, getting them on the bus, locking them down (to the vehicle?), guards at their post, multiple head counts, multiple stops for different courthouses, guards available to chaperone to courtroom...

So they couldn't have just given JA some food and medicine for her fake migraine? The Judge couldn't have asked to continue testimony after lunch? They just decide the whole day is off!

This Judge makes me mad! She could learn a thing or two from Judge Perry 'I'll work you all day Saturdays!"

I was threatened to be fired for having a migraine! Try selling cars with a severe migraine--vomiting, light-sound sensitive-just hit me in th head with a hammer PLEASE kind of pain. Imitrex solves it in 1 hour--but may be too expensive for the jails. Imitrex type triptans allow normal function--other Rxs are difficult to function on.---But they threatened to FIRE me the only time I got one at work!

I sure wish she had towork thru it too!:banghead:

I might be remembering this wrong, but I think Thursday's court schedule begins in the afternoon....at 12:30 pst. I think.

BBM

What does that mean? I would've whispered the same thing. Ummm :floorlaugh:

Fried gizzards? :what: LOL At least I can say that I've tried fried okra!

Playing devil's advocate here: couldn't they compare the fibers to the pillows and sandals and match them to that? If they did not match then maybe the imaginary rope would seem like a more plausible possibility.

Once again, durrrrr on my part.

Yes. That makes sense. I was out in the sun playing football with Lil Knot today. I am claiming scrambled sun-brewed brains.

But, man, was it a gorgeous day! :great:

Don't ya "love" when someone comes in at the tail end of a conversation, then asks "what were ya talking about?" Annoying, I know, but what web sight are you all talking about?

I'll bet they did.

Anyone think JM convinced MM that Jodi was headed to take care of a little matter in Monterey with that gun she was carrying with her. Me thinks MM may know too much. jmo

I think there is a good reason the defense never called MM to the stand. I suspect you're on to something.

I vote "cry for attention". Where is that fish slapping smilie? I'm on ipad :(

:goodpost:

I thought I heard 12:30 EST because of the half day

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

Thanks, you're probably right.

This is actually a time I believe her. When her star witness starts testifying for the prosecution, I'd imagine she'd get a migraine.

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Absolutely, Steely! This woman isn't going to budge. She'll testify about DV generally, yes--and she'll do a stellar job-- but JW is having one heck of a time getting her into the corral. :floorlaugh:

I think it's great.
