She may have been told in advance not to look up. DT knew perhaps what Jodis reaction may be to some of what would be said. She looks like she is doing hand written steno. Freak

Her hand and arm movements are so big that it looks more like she is drawing than just writing something. JMO

Jodi's not sick... she's just pale and greasy like an inmate.

I just watched and it appeared to me that she was doing something with her throat (swallowing real hard) like she was trying to make herself cough when the Jury came in.

Judge looked like she wanted to slap someone.

I missed a lot today... anything big? TIA.

I saw that too, she looked like she was trying to upchuck and ended up coughing. If she is really sick, then perhaps Wilmott or Nurmi will get sick and more delays.

I have no pity for her, but Jodi really is looking very drawn and she's lost weight, and she wasn't heavy to begin with. I suspect the food in the jail is just awful. Probably not sleeping well either (may she never have another good night's sleep for the rest of her life). I figure it's her due punishment. However, we don't actually know that the reason they quit for the day is that she's sick, right? But she looks awful. Maybe she's hoping for pity from the jury?

She wants to:
1. Run the show
2. Have all the attention
3. Jerk everyone, especially the prosecutor and this witness, around

She can do it by "being unwell", so she did.

I hope she loses it in the courtroom. This is the time when jodi will stsrt to critizize Wilmer. Ihave a feeling she will begin to experience some of jodis wrath. Those are the days Wilmer will say jodi has a headache.

I hope the jury does not think this early ending is because of something Dr. DeM. did. That was about the last thing they heard/saw, was a sidebar while Dr. DeM was answering (I think).

Here is what is so weird to me....JA cannot go anywhere. They are not going to provide special transportation back to the jail just for her. So she has to sit there all afternoon an wait for the dinner bus. What is the difference??

She doesn't have to listen to Dr D. (Or pretend not to listen) bust her azz for being a faker and a liar.

Also....I just learned that ANGER TRIGGERS MIGRAINES!!!! ...thought I'd google that too, and sure enough...anger triggers migraines!!

http://www.migravent.com/blog/migraine-triggers-2/5-anger-styles-that-trigger-migraines/

5 ANGER STYLES THAT TRIGGER MIGRAINES

Anger is a destructive, negative emotion that triggers migraines, in addition to harming your physical and mental health. Hypertension, heart disease, and depression are all side effects of unresolved anger. In managing your migraine triggers and reducing your number of migraine headaches, it is important to be able to recognize your anger style and nip it in the bud.

1- Chronic Anger

If you’re addicted to anger, you never miss an opportunity to provoke a fight. You love the “high” you get from a good emotional roller coaster, and anger is your drug of choice. You are offended easily and might explode into a tantrum at the drop of a hat. For the most part, you may be triggering your own migraines, so it’s essential that you ask yourself before you get all riled up, ”Is this worth the migraine it’ll cost me?”

2- Behavioral anger

Do you act out your anger? People who let anger rule their behavior are often aggressive, and subject to fits of rage- sometimes resulting in physical abuse. If migraines ever make you angry enough to lash out with friends or family, then it’s important to identify this style and anger and seek professional help.

3- Verbal anger

How do you express your anger…do you make sharp, cutting remarks, or yell obscenities? Even if you would never raise your fist in anger, remember that verbal punches can hurt, too. Next time you’re in the throes of a throbbing migraine headache that’s lasted for days, and somebody says or does something that really gets your goat, try to hold back your temper and your words, lest you ruin a valued relationship.

4- Shame-Based Anger

Over time, constant migraine headaches trigger depression, despair, and anguish in its sufferers. Because chronic migraines interfere with your ability to work productively, socialize, or carry out basic tasks, you sometimes feel “broken” or worthless. Feelings of guilt or inadequacy over cancelled appointments and missed birthdays because of migraine attacks may cause intense anger. If you suspect that poor self-image is at the root of your anger issues, then own up to it. Find out how other migraine patients cope with their chronic pain, and try to establish a healthier attitude towards yourself.

5- Unpredictable anger

Do you alternate from hot to cold, or have days when you are down in the dumps and others when you feel like you’re on top of the world? Sometimes, anger erupts without following any pattern, fluctuating between mild annoyances to outright rage, depending on your mood. Unpredictable anger and mood changes are sometimes comorbid conditions with migraine headaches. Living with somebody who is a thunderstorm-waiting-to-happen can be stressful, even traumatic, so it’s important that you seek counseling. By visiting a family or marital counselor and learning how to control your anger, you may save your relationships and your peace of mind while also preventing migraine attacks.

I think when this trial is over, we may see new changes in the ways trials are covered. The influence of sites like W sleutths...court spectators trying to be part of the case..the media focus. I would not at all be surprised that on appeal, JA is granted a new trial becuase of this circus. It must have been like this in the infamous Dr. Sam Sheperd case in the 1950's which as a result ended up making new law as it went to the Supreme Court( not JA's trial but issues surrounding it). Compliments of Crimestopper....

Hi, were you around for the Casey Anthony trial? Carp, this is childs play in comparison. They sold all kinds of carp across the street from the courthouse. No one can hold a candle to JB's. hijinks!

In 2008 I video

Well at lest I am listening to this morning's cross.

I still don't see any Wilmott "I gotcha" moments!

Oh my gosh, how can you listen to JW again? I admire your tenacity! :)

Last night I woke up on the couch with the TV still on HLN. I heard JW's shrill voice, thank goodness I live alone with my cats, because the first thing out of my mouth was "STFU Jennifer and sit the F down!". I yelled it, and turned the TV to Soapnet. Thank DirecTV for Soapnet, my sanity. :great:

JA did not look good this morning to start off with. We talked about this earlier.

I agree. This time,..I don't think she was faking. She looked as green as her shirt.

Jodi being a failure was her own doing...............It is the truth not malice IMO.If she spent the time she did trying to hook a man who was on the way up,sleeping around, stalking, driving thousands of miles and murdering, put her time to better use perhaps she would not have thrown away 2 lives and hurt so many others. What Jodi did was pure malice IMO.

what is almost worse is that her malice continues - she is not satisified that she butchered and tortured Travis- nope-- she is now slandering him and lying about who he was and ruining his good name and the name of his family. She is a vile diabolical murderer and she deserves whatever misery befalls her. i hope her headache really hurts but i doubt she even has one. she is exerting what little control she has these days and she has the ability to stop the trial in its tracks.

I don't think anything JW can turn up is going to be very helpful. JDM seems like she's way ahead of the game. I thought JW came close to making a couple good points, but she just drops it. I thought she could maybe go further with JDM and the issue of whether or not the battered woman's criteria was discredited. I'm not surprised it wasn't a full day, it was a mediocre cross so why not call out sick.

This not uncommon with this case.

Why was it delayed from 2008-2013?

Jodi's just gonna rot in jail; and she is apparently after today's sickness.

So I guess there's a 50-50 chance that court will have wrapped up for the day by the time JVM's show starts. NG won't have to talk that "time difference" that has the trial live/paused 2-3 hours after the fact.

The biggest change in Jodi's appearance I've seen is between last Friday and this Monday. like people here have said, her mask is gone. It was fully removed on Monday and Tuesday. She's starting to shrink and shrivel. She looks like a snail without its shell with nowhere to hide.

I remember during the interrogation with Flores (at the beginning) she said "I feel so powerless in here". I bet she is feeling the same now.

Wow. Good observation and well said.

I can vouch for you and will! Well said Git, and I will NEVER forget your support and compassion during my brother's trial. Love you my friend. :blowkiss:

Thank you! And I will never ever forget your brother, even though I didn't know him. P.S., I love you too!!!!!!!

I really hope the judge said, "this is it. No more sick days for Jodi."

I don't know your time zone, but I'm gonna have a little liquid refreshment. I need to chill out.

It's only 3:00 here... but it looks like the board majority is like 5 or 6 ... so I think I will join you!! Juicy rationalization for the day!

Here is what is so weird to me....JA cannot go anywhere. They are not going to provide special transportation back to the jail just for her. So she has to sit there all afternoon an wait for the dinner bus. What is the difference??

JMO, huge difference. It is a break of the monotony for her. Any kind of change for her is like going to a carnival for her. I am sure when in jail or prison, that any kind of chance they get to do something different is a welcome break from being in their cell.

Not only that, IMO, they are trying to drag the case on to give them more time to get enough jurors removed to force a mistrial.

Well ... one thing I noticed was that Jodi could not have been "too sick" to be able to carry out all those folders and her blue notebook ...

WTH is in all those manilla folders ? She had about 3 of them when she left, in addition to that usual blue notebook she totes back and forth every day ...

Is this allowed ?

Is that her "journal" she carries in and out, or her Manifesto ?

Just unbelievable that Jodi and her DT are allowed to get away with their shenanigans ...

Judge needs to get tougher and tell them NO MORE !

:moo:

Why would you "love" this? This is an attitude I have a hard time understanding. If Jodi had fulfilled her potential, and became a happy, healthy and successful person, then she wouldn't have killed a man. Wanting to see justice done is very different from gloating over a sad, failed life that took another life down with it. To me, this is something to cry, not laugh, about. BBM

Happy, healthy and successful people shock the h*ll out of me almost every day. Being happy, healthy and successful isn't immunity against bitter disappointment. As others have said, Jodi made her choices and has done for a long time. She had many opportunities to be successful but she wanted what she wanted when she wanted it and would go to any extreme to get it.

Many out there with sad, failed lives who try to make the best of what they have and others who drift aimlessly and still manage not to commit murder and spend years consciously lying about it.

I think part of what makes the average person happy, healthy and successful is that s/he is a thinking, striving individual who understands the world doesn't owe anyone all of their hopes and dreams. Just because we want something and work hard for it and think we deserve it, sometimes we still don't get it. And often with no good reason why.

I think sometimes about women in other countries who are brutalized simply for being women. Anger and despair would be the easiest answer. Just not the only answer. Some of those women have more hope for the future than people who rarely experience tragedy.
