This was damning evidence that's why and the court room reacted with gasps when she gave testimony (according to a tweet). I guess the defense didn't like that.

This Judge needs a reality check. Telling the jury the other day during testimony that it was sleep inducing and now this??? WTF?

I just don't get it.

Does a Judge warn a jury, when a person stands accused of sexual assault, and his lawyer brings witnesses forth to show his good, moral character?

Does the Judge warn the jury not consider the good, moral character?

It makes no sense. In the CA case they were able to show Casey's character. The "bella vita", the partying, the lying....that was the case!!!

Heeney is telling the jury they may NOT consider Rafferty being "philandering cad" as part of the evidence.

He says they can consider their evidence when it comes to his actions relation to April 8th, 2009 and Tori Stafford.

RaffertyLFP: Jury might think he is a philandering cad, but that is not relevant, Heeney said.

But can they consider him being a pimp, or is that also not relevant?

She suggests 10 or 11 is the early afternoon. Derstine replies "after......noon". No more questions.

She says first meeting was Saturday April 4th, 2009.

He mentioned going to Australia, he said he had a son, and said he was a dance instructor.

Agree with you as well. I do think the Judge said it is not to be the Primary consideration as to his Guilt. I believe he was speaking to the number of ladies etc. Not as to what they are testifying too.

I just had horrible thought of why they stole Tori given the new escorting evidence, eek.

You have to wonder if this is the "taking Tori to London" thing that came up in testimony.

Does anyone have that testimony or know where it is?

She communicated wi him over the phone, via text message and on MSN.

She met him again on April 5th, and the 6th.

He asked if she wanted to get coffee in London.

She said she didn't want to see him anymore after that day. She never saw him again.

It is his responsibility to let the jury know what they can and cannot use as evidence to convict or acquit. The fact that he was dating numerous women, at the same time is not relevant to the case, this no doubt was the legal issue that the defense wanted clarified for the jurors.

I do not see how making money with his girlfriend like this shares the character traits of being a rapist or murderer. The violent flaws of TLM cannot even be compared. I understand why the judge made that statement. JMO

At 12:44 on April 8th, 2009... Rafferty and Demidas exchanged text messages. They were arguing, she says

RaffertyLFP: Intimate with Rafferty prior to April 8, 2009. She is done testifying.

There were other text messages after 7. Then more between 9 and 12:32 am April 9th.

She suggested all would be about arguing and ending the relationship.

On cross examination, she says she was intimate with Rafferty before April 8th, 2009.

So I'm thinking he preyed mainly on women with children who were perhaps having financial difficulty and asked them if they wanted to escort for him, and that's why they dumped him soon after first meeting. He's basically trying to recruit girls for the escort business. JMO

She met Rafferty on Zoosk.

It's a dating site attached to Facebook. They became Facebook friends.

They met on April 17th, 2009. She saw him at Wal Mart and driving. Recognized him from online profile pictures.

They discussed dating online. He asked her out. She never went out with him.
