Every time remains are found, I always wonder if its Danielle :/

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Wednesday stumbled on months-old skeletal remains on the Harris County side of the Spring Creek Greenway.

Also keeping an eye in Alexandria Lowitzer's, as well as Michelle Prasek's thread:

Quite a few people missing in the area, Alexandria Lowitzer, as well as the young man from the bar near there, his name is escaping me at this moment...were those remains found earlier this year off Rayford linked to him?)

Also from the above link:

"The deputies were patrolling the area as part of a task force discouraging drivers of four-wheeler off-road vehicles in the area when they found the remains, according to Harris County Sheriff's Office spokesman Thomas Gilliland. The creek forms the divide between the two counties."

Also from the above link:

"The Harris County medical examiner's anthropology unit will examine the bones to determine the cause of death, age and whether the victim was male or female, among any other identifying factors. All that is known now is that the remains had been there long enough to deteriorate to the skeletal level."

Unfortunately with the heat and the humidity there, it probably wouldn't take bones long to get to that point. Longer at this time of year, probably, but I remember being shocked that Hannah Graham's body was skeletal remains when found and it was only a few weeks.

3 miles from Danielle Sleeper's home on Turtle Dove Ln, Walnut Creek crosses under Walnut Creek Rd.
Walnut Creek feeds into Spring Creek (where the skull was found).

So sad that there is still no trace of Danielle. Her poor kids must miss their mommy very much :(

From January 31:

http://www.houstonchronicle.com/new...oved-onesgrieve-missing-find-hope-6797402.php

Although the ages varied, families with missing children shared the same grief on the steps of City Hall Sunday afternoon...

But for Danielle Sleeper's parents, who believe foul play was involved in their 32-year-old daughter's disappearance last year, remaining optimistic is difficult.

"Unlike most of you, we don't believe that our daughter will be coming back to us," Danielle's mother, Dina Street said. "But I think this is wonderful - that you have given us a voice, that we can come out and talk with people who know what we feel because all we hear when we talk to the detectives is 'we don't have any clues,' and that's the end of the discussion. We are grateful and we will keep looking and checking and we won't give up."
