I saw that too on a reporters post. I don't get tv (literally don't, satellite disconnected and convertor box broke) so I keep looking for it. Makes me mad, so freaking mad. I kept looking at all the kids while out trick or treating tonight, looking at the girls thinking that's what this little girl should be out doing tonight. Not laying in some danged morgue. She had no clue and it makes me sick. My lil boy is 9 soon to be 10 and I just can't imagine. At all. Sick btard. One sick btard.

Yes, he will be tried here. And, if found guilty and given the death sentence....he will die here. In Texas, if you kill someone, we kill you back! ESPECIALLY if you rape and murder a child. :furious:

Sifuentes is on Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold, meaning he is in the country illegally. Sources said he may have been deported once before.

Police said Sifuentes was working as a construction worker. They did DNA swabs of his body hoping to link him to the crime through physical evidence.

Sifuentes has been charged with "immigration hold" and other charges are pending.

Sifuentes' residence at 1610 E. Belt Line Road and his Lincoln Navigator were searched by authorities, police said Monday.

According to a search warrant, police found a knife and human blood in the Navigator.

Police said they expect the results of DNA tests in the case Tuesday morning.
Investigators sent in multiple swabs from Sifuentes' Navigator and the apartment.

No signs of forced entry and LE wouldn't say how he got in.

It sounds to me like there was a huge party at the apartment. The weather has been pleasant here. I was outside doing a walking tour all evening Saturday. We had on jackets, but if there were many people at the reunion, they may have had doors standing open, the party may have spilled out into the stairways and yard areas. She may have even gone outside with him, where he was then able to lure her far enough away to not be heard or seen if there was eventually a struggle.

If I was with my extended family, I don't know that I would watch a 10 year old every minute. It's interesting that they seemed to think she had gone to bed. Maybe she'd been missing from the party for a while, and they assumed shed gone to bed. Hard to say. So sickening.

BBM Really? Imagine that. If so, he wouldn't be the first rapist and murderer here illegally. Why not give 'em all amnesty, let them tap into our social security system, health care, and cuts in college tuition legally? We owe it to them, don't we? Why, we can even pay to keep him in prison from our tax dollars. What a bargain.

Hopefully, if he is guilty, TX will execute, that is after Mexico makes a big stink and we have to defend our position, with many dollars, because another illegal is a (alleged right now) murderous criminal. What a bargain! What a way to run a government! Imagine how much better it will get when them Mexico truckers are driving all over the place.

"Responding Officers learned that ten year old Jasmen Gonzalez was last seen sleeping in the apartment's master bedroom, on October 29, 2011, at approximately 2315 hours. At approximately 2330 hours, the residents discovered that Jasmen Gonzalez was missing from the bedroom. There is a door that leads from the bedroom, where Jasmen was last seen sleeping, to the outside of the apartment.../....Once the occupants of the apartment relayed that Jasmen was missing, they realized that Sifuentes was also missing for an approximately fifteen minute period.../...Sifuentes voluntarily cooperated with officers by driving his personal vehicle to the police department to be interviewed. During the interview with Sifuentes, the detectives observed several basic statements of deception..../....Sifuentes statements were inconsistent, including information regarding him leaving the location for an undisclosed amount of time and his purpose for leaving."​

This poor little girl. So sorry, Jasmen... :cry:

Sifuentes was charged with the girl's murder after incriminating evidence was found in his vehicle and apartment.

According to a search warrant affidavit, police retrieved a knife with a black handle, yellow rubber gloves, hair, half of a golden charm, and samples of suspected human blood.

Miss Jasmen looks like and reminds me so much of my own daughter. My DD and I knelt in prayer for darling Jasmen this morning when I caught up with the news. My DD will be lighting a candle at Weds mass for this little one who should still be amongst us. SO sad....... :(
