Search for man reported missing in Newton County

Investigators say Keandre Markell Jones, also known at TT, was reported missing on Wednesday by his family in the Bon Weir area.
Authorities say family members told authorities that they actually saw Jones for the last time in late October.

Car and body found

Rowles said that even though he and others believe the remains to be Keandre Markell Jones, an official ruling or identity has not been made pending further investigation and an autopsy.

Rowles believe the man died from a gunshot wound and that it is a case of homicide

Arrest made in January murder of Bon Wier man

An arrest was made in 2017. Don’t see anything about a trial though.

Ugh, Texas gang scene. So deep in criminal activity that anyone who actually cared about him didn't necessarily find anything unusual in no contact for two or three months.

Convicted of manslaughter in 2018. Sentenced to 17 years, eligible for parole in 2026 while he'll still be plenty young enough to go back to organized crime with killer cred and all the contacts he made inside.

In my search I also saw that in 2011 as a 14-15 year old he was in the car for an accident in which his father was killed. Tragic story all around but also typical.
