This seems a possible case of death by husband (or ex-husband in this case). It was left to the mother to report her missing over 2 weeks after she went missing. What does seem surprising is that she was living with him 10 years after they divorced.

She was living with him for 10 years after they divorced? She was only 28 so that means 18 y/o at the time of the divorce...what age did she get married?

The 28 is a typo. It should read 38. She was born 1963.
