Shooting Confirmed at Fort Hood Army Base

KCEN-TV in Central Texas is reporting multiple people have been injured Wednesday in a shooting at Fort Hood.

A U.S. Army official at Fort Hood confirms that a shooting has occurred at Fort Hood, though the number of people injured remains a mystery.

KCEN reports at least one person has been transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition and that an unknown number of others are injured.

Shooting with casualties reported at Ft. Hood

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a shooting with casualties Wednesday at Ft. Hood, scene of a 2009 attack that left 13 dead.

No further information was immediately available on the incident, the shooter or the extent of any injuries.

One Death Confirmed In Fort Hood Shooting

FORT HOOD (April 2, 2014) At least one person is dead after a shooting late Wednesday afternoon on Fort Hood, a post spokesman confirmed.

Others were injured in the shooting, but the spokesman didn’t say how many.

A man who said he was a witness told News 10 that about 20 shots were fired in a post motor pool in the area of Motor Pool Road and Tank Destroyer Boulevard.

He said at least three people were hit.

He said the three victims were taken to a hospital.
