"Last seen"..."leaving the Anderson County
Sheriff's Office". The Sheriff's Office and the
Anderson County Jail show the same address;
Anderson County Texas Jail
So, was he there to make a report (about a
crime?), reporting in (say for bail conditions?),
or was he being released from the Jail?

From the article posted by NanZDrew:

Following a Jan. 12 arrest by the Palestine Police Department, bond was posted for Staneart on the evening of Jan. 20, reportedly over the phone with 1st Stop Bail Bonds of Palestine. When the individual who posted the bond arrived to retrieve Staneart, he was nowhere to be found.

Thanks EllaMinnowP, so according to the media
report in post #3, bail was posted on the "evening
of 20th
"... but he was let out of jail (obviously)
and was "Last seen on January 20, leaving the
Anderson County Sheriff’s Office just after
4:30 p.m.
". Have the journalists at The Henderson
News reported this correctly, or do they use a
different definition for 'evening' other than that
commonly used, i.e. evening=occurring after 6 P.M. ?

The link in post #4 was malformed, I had a Mod
fix it. Think I'll ask a moderator to remove the
confusingly irrelevant media link in post #1.

This tells about his arrest on January 12.

Edited to add: I’m not trying to share negativity about TS, just wonder if something in his lifestyle may hold clues as to why he’s missing. MOO

Family, friends search for missing Henderson man
"Priscilla Weston, the grandmother of Staneart's
children said"..."the staff tried to give him his keys,
phone and wallet, but he left them at the jail."
Why would he leave his phone and wallet at the jail? It worries me about the potential for self-harm. MOO
I hope they find him soon, and that he’s just fine.

A ground search is being held Sunday, Jan. 28 in Palestine for a Henderson man that has been missing since Jan. 20.

The search will begin in the ACSO parking lot at 9 a.m. Jan. 28. Anyone willing to help is invited to join family and friends in searching for Staneart.

Rachel Gonzalez, a coordinator for the search, said the search would start from the parking lot and cover at least a three mile radius from that area. She and other volunteers are working on a map to section off areas for the search. Those maps will be given out to volunteers Sunday.

Shelly Stephens, who is also helping to coordinate the search, said the Upshare County Search and Rescue Team has volunteered to come and out and help search.

Staneart is 6’1” tall, 235 pounds, with brown eyes and dirty blonde hair. He has a tattoo sleeve on his left arm. He is a father of two.

BBM for emphasis on search details.
Much more at link.

The bond was $32,000. Not a small amount. Reckless driver report leads to drug arrest in Palestine Didn't see anything else for him in court records for that county but in Rusk County he has a drug possession arrest on the books from 2019 (his info is on page 7) https://newtools.cira.state.tx.us/upload/page/2796/docs/Status Docket 02 10 21.pdf. There could be others, I've only looked at 2 counties. But with prior drug arrest, added to driving on a suspensded license, his skipping out on bond wouldn't surprise me personally, but I don't know why he wouldn't take his wallet? (phone yes, as that might be a way to track you). https://newtools.cira.state.tx.us/upload/page/2796/docs/Status Docket 02 10 21.pdf

Palestine Police Chief Mark Harcrow confirmed at 4:04 p.m. Sunday a body in Spring Creek on Lacy Street, less than a mile from the jail, was Staneart.

The ground search was coordinated by family friends Shelly Stephens and Rachel Gonzalez for Sunday morning. The body was found approximately 90 minutes into the search.

Law enforcement has been at the scene since around 11:30 a.m. Sunday investigating and retrieving the body.

My sincere condolences to all who love Trenton Staneart.
MOO

Staneart's cause of death is unknown at this time.

Article says his body was found in a creek around 11 this morning.:(
Last week there was significant rainfall for several days and many creeks and rivers were out of their banks. The rain started after he went missing so it is possible that he was originally on land and his body was swept into the flooded creek.
