This report has pictures of Kennedy driving the lorry on Oct 11th, at Orsett Golf Club, and what is allegedly Nica's car.

Essex lorry deaths trial told 999 caller reported previous alleged people drop

Court did not sit today - judge giving directions to the lawyers about the statement of a witness who requires video link and interpreter.

There's a CDG logo on the truck, Caolan Gormley's firm.

"She said: “I immediately recognised this cab and trailer on the news as certainly being the same one that I had seen on both October 11 and October 18 2019.”"

Except it wasn't. Because the lorry driven on Oct 11th was the one with the CDG logo on it, not Mo's 'Polar Express'.

'A load of immigrants just got out of a lorry into Mercs'

Brother of lorry deaths man takes defamation case

LOL. I wasn't aware that simply asking someone to come forward for questioning constituted defamation. Innocent until proven guilty, etc. But interesting that , as we know, he didn't cross the border to defend himself against the removal of his licence.

Meanwhile, the court hears more details of a previous run, in which Harrison allegedly picked up and delivered to the port a trailer containing biscuits, later found to have been contaminated by human presence in the trailer. Allegedly collected at Purfleet by Kennedy.
Dirty footprints in boxes raised suspicions about truck, migrant deaths trial told

Another very detailed thread on Twitter from Jordan Milne, largely documenting the evidence from 'Witness X' a migrant who was allegedly on the 10th Oct trip. His or her journey from France and eventually to a flat in the UK.

The thumbprint of Witness X was eventually found in the trailer containing the bodies on 23rd Oct, supporting the evidence that Witness X had made the same journey in the same trailer.

WRT the 18th and 19th Oct, The police analyst covers the movements of Hughes, Nica and Robinson, all in and out of the Ibis hotel while Kennedy is driving the truck through Grays and Harrison is stationary in Zeebrugge. During this time Hughes is in contact with Gormley. Who I have now named in my head 'Teflon Gormley'. Court finished for the day, preparing to start again at 10.15 tomorrow.

Clutching at straws. He had his chance to attend the hearing about his O licence and HGV licence, have representation at the least. He knows he’s blown it and will use this case, if successful as leverage to get his HGV back. Not a chance. Did he profit from his brother’s shenanigans? No question the wagons were used! No question that profits were used to purchase those wagons running on CH O licence. He has been shut down from driving, running trucks in their name or for someone else.
Do we know if the police have issued a POCA against the Hughes brothers?

I note that all of a sudden Christopher Hughes is from Armagh (N Ireland) whereas he seemed to be living in Monaghan, photographed with his wife with the area they live named - in Monaghan - when she did that piece about her hairdressers, and he has appeared in truck magazines as being in Monaghan. His lawyer is from Monaghan.

Jordan Milne, the Sky crime reporter is back at the Old Bailey today, giving excellent detailed coverage on Twitter.
There is a harrowing timeline of evidence pertaining to the temperature in the trailer and also various phone use during the hours of the ferry journey.
It sounds as if it was the first time that Mo R had done this leg of the journey - Purfleet to Collingwood Farm /The Golf Club, as he seems to have been shown the way, and downloaded images of the area.

The trial of the four men accused of being involved in the deaths of 39 migrants in Purfleet continues at The Old Bailey today.

Yesterday jurors heard harrowing 999 calls made by the defendants, along with messages between the accused.
