Im not going to post this on the Facebook page but i can maybe understand why the Police didn't release the CCTV footage straight away and why they aren't saying much, they may have a suspect but not enough evidence to arrest them?, they may feel that releasing the images on the cctv may cause people to start throwing names and accusations about?, i really dont know?.

I do agree that not enough has been done to find this lad.

Or they have a suspect/suspects but don't know where they are at the moment, so don't want to prompt them into hiding even deeper by alerting to the fact that the police know they are involved?

Police may know who is involved with Allan's disappearance but proving it and getting evidence is difficult.
I do not believe Allan is alive, but he needs to be found, have a decent funeral and closure for his precious mum and dad.
Allan won,t give up Fin x

Allan's father has come out and openly stated he believes his son has been murdered.

'Asked if he believed his son had been murdered, Mr Bryant told The Courier: “Without doubt. I believe Allan has been murdered." '

He adds he's heard 'similar stories' from five people but thinks they are afraid to go to the police.

An internet troll has admitted sending a message to the father of missing Glenrothes man Allan Bryant Jr claiming he had tortured and killed his son.

Stewart McInroy pleaded guilty to three charges of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm.

Oddly, the TV show 'This Morning' in the UK scheduled an interview with Allan's family and appeared to have cancelled it at the last minute. People seem to be quite upset, as far as I can see.

Missing Allan Bryant: Family plan candlelit vigil on anniversary of disappearance
By Jonathan Watson, 23 September 2014 10.36am.
Now, with just six weeks to go before the first anniversary of his disappearance, Allan’s parents, Allan Snr and Marie, say they intend to hold a public gathering at the venue where their son was last seen.
November’s event is set to feature images of Allan Jnr being projected onto a nearby building, with the Bryant family also keen to express their gratitude to the public for their support.
“It might be a bit cold but it should only last about 30 minutes,” Mr Bryant added. “We were thinking about another march but we didn’t want to bother the police again.
“They are working hard at the minute and will also be there at the vigil.”
The short gathering will take place in the car park of Styx, Caskieberran Road, on Sunday November 2 at 6.30pm.

Family of missing Allan Bryant will lead candlelit vigil to mark one year since his disappearance
Nov 02, 2014 10:02 By Jane Hamilton
Around 1000 people are expected to join his parents and younger sisters tonight to show their support. Despite a county-wide missing person's campaign, including air, ground and water searches by police, there has been no trace of the 24-year-old. In one of the largest inquiries by Police Scotland and a reward for information there have been no confirmed sightings of Allan.

more at link about tonight's vigil including the father's video.

‘We are not coping at all’ — family of missing Allan Bryant face another Christmas without answers

The family of a missing Glenrothes man are “not coping at all” as they face another Christmas without answers.

The Bryant family has also been at the forefront of efforts to find their son, having established a Facebook page with over 10,000 followers, as well as a recent television appearance on This Morning.

The weekend saw a new element in the continuing search, a specialist search dog that can smell underwater.

“We’ll never give up on the search for Allan. We’ll never stop searching.”

Appears it will take days to even remove the body from the park - must be in a very grim condition. Wonder if Police think it is a suspect death so are trying to get as much forensics as they can?

It seems far more likely to be Wayne Fleming to me but until it is confirmed Allan can't be ruled out. Feel so bad for both families right now.

Oh dear, his Dad is just so difficult at times. Had the police instantly ruled out Allan just based on clothes and teeth found (assuming there even was any) he would be going nuts about the police being too quick. They had to wait for testing to be done.

Interesting development. Could be just rumours about the sewers but I hope they get searched thoroughly to rule it out. It would be a dangerous job to do so I assume police aren't helping search as there isn't enough firm evidence to justify the risk. Part of me wonders maybe the people spreading the rumours are actually trying to put his family off the scent.

Still nothing. This is so heartbreaking for his poor family.
