Dean is 24 years old, and is approximately 6’1 in height, and of slim to medium build. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

Last Seen

Dean Patton has been missing from Portrush, County Antrim, since Wednesday 25th July 2012. Dean was last seen in the Dunluce Avenue area of Portrush, close to his home on Eglinton Lane. There were several confirmed sightings of him in this area throughout the Wednesday he went missing.

He is a very social and well liked individual, so both Dean’s family and the PSNI are extremely concerned as to his whereabouts.

It should be noted that Dean has not had access to regular medication which he takes, and therefore may not be aware of his own identity.

Anyone who sees Dean or has information as to his whereabouts should contact police immediately on 101 Non Emergency Number and ask to speak to detectives in Coleraine CID.

Dean is still missing.

I've always been troubled by this bit from one of the articles above -

"Dean has not had access to regular medication which he takes, and therefore may not be aware of his own identity."

I did a google search and found the below - could this be what Dean suffered from?

What Is Dissociative Amnesia?

My only other theory from that statement is maybe something like Bi-polar/Schizophrenia maybe and a psychotic break, I presume that could lead someone to not knowing who they are if it was severe enough?
