Searches for a vulnerable missing 17-year-old boy who was last spotted in Newquay resumed on Monday morning. Emergency services were first alerted after Dom Sowa went missing in the early hours of Sunday.
A major search operation involving a police helicopter, RNLI, coastguard teams from Newquay, Padstow and St Agnes and a search and rescue helicopter was subsequently launched.
The search centred on the Newquay coast and the area around Little Fistral, after a black jacket was discovered in the area on Sunday.
Dom, who is described as a vulnerable missing person, is white, around 6ft tall with dyed blond hair and of thin build. He was wearing a black jacket, black jeans, black walking boots and a hoody. Police believe he may now be in the hoody or a white t-shirt after the jacket was located.
