Pictured: Couple, both 66, found dead at home
Couple, both 66, found dead at home as their 35-year-old son faces trial for their murder and relatives say they are 'devastated'
John and Beverley Taylor, both 66, were discovered at the property in Regent Crescent, Skipton, after police were called to the North Yorkshire address at about 7.30am on December 21.
David Michael Taylor, 35, was arrested soon after the bodies were discovered and appeared before Leeds Crown Court on December 23.
David, who is believed to be the couple's son, has been charged with their murder.
John and Beverley's family released a statement through North Yorkshire Police, publishing a picture of the couple and revealing the 'devastating' impact the deaths have had.
It reads: 'The family of John and Beverley Taylor (née Bernard), both aged 66, would ask through this devastating time they be allowed their privacy.
'They would like to thank all the friends and the community of Skipton for all their support and messages of comfort. Thank you.'
