Ok, I've just found something potentially important. The drain that the police are searching today was reported to "Fix My Street" on 6 January 2019 with the title "unsanitary" and the text "tissues and underpants and human waste". Obviously this was before LS went missing, but could it be connected? It was 2 weeks before the incident P has been charged with and less than a month before last sighting of LS

I've tried to link to the report here, but not sure if it'll work Unsanitary - Viewing a problem

Not with shorts it isn't!

I agree the description is vague. but why mention not dressed for the weather ...why not seen in shorts etc smoking man looks like hes wearing a coat ...That's dressing for the weather isn't it?!

Nobody to my knowledge has reported seeing a man wearing shorts and a balaclava. Please give us a link if you know different.
If not, please don't confuse the issue or this will become another of those false "facts".

Thanks for that link. Frankly it seems to me the police are really scraping the barrel and don't know where to look. :(

Nice find but the text below states:

Even if the underwear was somehow connected to PR, the mess was cleaned up by 27th January and I highly doubt they kept any of the offending items as they might be relevant to a missing persons case that didn't exist yet. The police may be searching the drain purely by coincidence, as it's in the area they've been focusing on, or maybe they also found out about the report of underwear etc and thought it may be connected somehow. Who knows?

Its definitely no 29. Been trying to research the house for a while. It backs onto the drain and does look like rear access to car/human possible. - As per earlier post, if i was her - i would be breaking in from rear to gain access IF the no key scenario is Fact an this is where i would be searching. Maybe they have and theres nothing tho.

Read the whole article but no statement of Libby's address, just a vague photo of police and dogs entering a property.

I quote
Specialist officers with sniffer dogs enter Libby's student house in Hull - where she was dropped off after a night out

If you scroll down to photo posted of a sniffer dog entering the property and compare it to street view it is the same house no 29 and it does say in the narrative it is her digs

It says under that photo:
Specialist officers with sniffer dogs enter Libby's student house in Hull

So... is it 29 per the Daily Mail, 32 per The Sun, 15 per the luminol picture, or none of the above?!?

When you say "definitely 29" where are you getting that from?

As far as hard forensics go we have;

A screwdriver, claw hammer and lip gloss - recovered from Beresford Ave/Bev Road bushes; we've seen forensics leaving with evidence bags from the park but no announcements about any findings?

Screwdriver, hammer and lip gloss found by police amid new sighting

Had the Police seen PR discard these objects form the car? It sounds like that one forensic officer was dressed and ready, turns up, goes straight to the bushes, finds significant items right away. Were forensics expecting to find something in there?

The abandoned house/drains search locale is where the above post mentioned forensics teams bagged items of interest , as yet uncommented on by LE,

I know, I read it all . My thought was that it could be a regular haunt. You have to remember that the person of interest was spotted down Wellesley two weeks after this. The only place Wellesley leads to is the park. The person in custody does not live down there. If he did the alleged act, what was he doing down Wellesley in the first place? The person is also charged with acts relating to underpants and masturbating in public.

Tissues, pants and excrement seems like it could potentially be linked, bearing in mind the police are focusing on that very drain today.

Ok, but in the interests of fairness, you "outright stated" a few pages back it was no 15, based purely on a couple of CSI pics from 2 weeks ago.

32 is the ONLY house that's been pictured in the media actually being captioned as Libbys. I'm not saying it definitely is 32, but it's all we have to go on in terms of news reports (even if it was The Sun!!)

You're only 10 minutes away. Please go down there and see what you can find out. Wouldn't be hard to chat to a resident and get them to point to it, I'd have no qualms doing that whatsoever. I agree it's pertinent to the case.

I don't think we can go by what's in the media as Daily Mail has listed no 29 as Libby's house according to the caption in one of their reports (link below), although the same photo is in another DM report with a different caption (a property on the same road where Ms Squire lived)

Thank you and yes, I see the red top reporters have said it is "Libby's student house in hull' but unfortunately I do not believe we can take this as confirmation. Journalists need a story and pics - maybe best to get firm confirmation. Not querying your links which are really useful and so much appreciated, but we have been led astray before by reporters on WS.

Because its the only one that fits and it is aprox 100 yards from heathcote street

Okay sorry i just thought it was useful info

No, it's not the only one that fits. No 15 is just 7 doors down and 32 is bang opposite. So what makes you so certain it's that one, when there is a photo of a different house (32) also captioned as being Libbys and yet another house (15) being forensically searched?
