Can you help find missing Libby Squire (21) last seen getting into a taxi outside Welly club in Hull at around 11pm last night?

She is 5ft 7ins tall with shoulder length brown hair and was wearing a black long sleeved top, leather jacket and black denim skirt with lace.

I would think yes. They have to agree to it being added.
I suppose that might be the argument ( reason ) for adding it now because at this stage, both Counsel are both more likely to agree.
If, after a few days, the Jury can't reach a decision, even a majority one, then I expect they might view the inclusion differently.

The Judge does not require the permission of the parties to brief the jury on points of law

Oh he will absolutely. He will be smirking all the way back to his prison cell.

I find it so disappointing that the Judge is offering this option now, rather than waiting to see if the Jury can reach a guilty of murder verdict ( which I believe they could have done ). I think having the lighter option available might make them waver and give him the lower charge.
I find it so sad, and I don't think this is justice for Libby. As Mrazda said, he is the reason she is dead and not setting up home with her boyfriend and enjoying her first job, post university. He is the reason her family will never see her marry or have children or travel round the world or achieve something wonderful in her work life.
I do hope we deport him back to Poland as soon as his sentence is finished. And, equally, I feel very sorry for the Polish people who will be faced with this vile predator in their lives.

The judge needs to ensure she directs the Jury properly

Otherwise it could be grounds for appeal

It can- look at the Bulger case and how many times they have been returned back to prison and it was not for another murder.

Far from expert these days i am afraid!

But the judge has broad discretion in her summing up. If she messes up it can give grounds for appeal. But counsel cannot veto the judges directions

He was a steroid user but had been for a long time I think without committing an offence (that we know of) so what triggered him to offend that night I am not sure.

Think at the back of our minds we all know that,but are trying to remain positive at the moment, particularly after the last minute addition of manslaughter as an option,which was a bit of a shock.
