"Fears are growing for a Japanese musician who went missing in Britain during a tour.

Sho Teshigawara had been touring the UK with his group the Yamato Drummers since January. The 19-year-old was last seen by his bandmates at G Live in Guildford around 2pm last Thursday (28 February).

The last confirmed sighting of him was at Dorking train station at around 6.30pm on the same day. It is believed he had planned to take the 6.37pm train to London Victoria"

Can you help us find missing man Sho Teshigawara?

The Yamato Drummers are due to perform at the Peacock Theatre in Holborn from 12 March and there is a chance he may have been intending to travel there.

Sho speaks very little English and is not believed to have much money with him, and officers and his family are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety.

Sho was last seen wearing a dark jacket and green khaki trousers, and was carrying a blue rucksack.

If you have seen Sho, or if you were travelling on the 6.37pm train from Dorking to London Victoria, please get in touch as a matter of urgency.

If you have any information, please call us on 101 (999 in an emergency) or Provide more information to be added to a crime report | Surrey Police quoting reference PR/45190022089.

I could see him catching the wrong train and ending up lost (especially as there's a change at Clapham), but I wonder what stopped him from getting in contact with an official.
Also, why was he traveling alone? Was it just a case of the band being on the same platform, but not in a group? Or was he going off on his own to explore the capital? Buckingham Palace is very near to Victoria.

EDIT: Never mind - just saw the safe and well update. Good news! :)
