"A former prosecutor and retired judge killed himself on Tuesday
as the FBI arrived at his home in New York to arrest him.

According to the FBI there was an exchange of gunfire between the judge and agents.

The bureau said:

'The FBI is reviewing an agent-involved shooting that occurred earlier this morning in Campbell Hall, NY.

The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents seriously'."

70s/80s New York is back or never really left:

Federal agents seized materials from the home of new NYPD interim commissioner Tom Donlon on Friday, less than two weeks after New York City's previous police commissioner resign.

The Soudani’s claim Rosenwasser’s probe resulted in Eman Soudani’s “false arrest and imprisonment,” minimized allegations of abuse, ignored evidence of additional criminal activity and concealed bribes. They claim Hoovler and Borek, who tried the case, exhibited “blind reliance” on Rosenwasser and negligently caused wrongful prosecution.

The Soudani family has made headlines before.

Marty’s wife, Helen, was killed in an unsolved murder at the couple’s Rockland County restaurant in 1977.

His sister, Eman, is accusing him of incest and rape in another lawsuit and claims Rosenwasser, the county and district attorney interfered in a “significant family dispute.”

The Soudani’s plan to sue for $22.5 million.
