Sunday marks 18 months since Levi Collins, 34, Danny Gallegos, 35, and Braden Emerson, 23, disappeared after announcing they were taking off for a day of ATV riding in Bountiful...

Richard and Justin Christopher have never been charged or arrested in connection with the investigation into the missing men... But witnesses told detectives that later that month, Justin Christopher was talking about the three missing men.

"Justin was bragging that 'his boys did that' and also bragged about it being a robbery and how he has come into a lot of money," a warrant states.

Now, on the two-year anniversary of the trio going missing, family members of the men want to raise public awareness that the case is still unresolved. Their bodies have never been found. No one has ever been arrested and no charges have been filed — even though police suspect they know who killed them.

"Our boys are still missed and we want some more answers. We're still waiting for answers," said Judi Rinker, the mother of one of the men, Levi Collins.

The families say they are extremely frustrated that the investigation has not resulted in any arrests or charges, despite seemingly overwhelming evidence against two Utah men. Salt Lake police say the case has been completed and handed over to the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office. Unless the district attorney's office asks detectives to gather additional evidence, police say their investigation is essentially done.

According to charging documents, Gallegos had $200,000 with him to buy a house when he disappeared.

Charging documents say the victims' remains were burned, some at a campground and some at a crematorium.

Salt Lake City man arrested for allegedly murdering three men, cremating their bodies to hide the evidence

According to the probable cause statement, J.C. and Christopher later broke into a Utah County crematorium where J.C. once worked that was designed for cremating large animals and burned the bodies. The next day, the two men allegedly drove to a Davis County campground and burned the men’s remains and belongings a second time.

Police later found remnants of cellphones, keys and human bones at the campsite, court documents state.

Investigators learned that after the men disappeared, J.C. and Christopher bought a car, motorhome and trailer with cash. When police searched the motorhome, they found “unique jewelry” belonging to Gallegos, in addition to guns, ammunition and more than $60,000 in cash.
