Hello, new member here, just made this account to post this comment! I know this is totally off topic from the previous comment, but I saw that she does have her other Insta Acc: under novababy96 so I searched that username and found a totally different account made under that name for a game website and as of 5 days ago an account under that name just received an upgrade/achievement to the game they were playing, though she's been missing for 7 days. That account also only has two friends, Could be a coincidence but novababy96 is a pretty specific username and I doubt it was auto-generated! I am assuming that postings a link to that page is a no no but if you google it, its the ninja kiwi one! Tried to add the Nova acc just to see what would happen.

This is very interesting. I wonder if LE is aware of second private account? The gaming site not so surprising as tags get lifted all the time.

They didn't say that the driver picked up another rider right after dropping Mackenzie. The driver's choose their rides, not the app. He could have not had another rider for a half-hour, hour, or longer. How many people are out looking for Lyft rides at 3:00 a,m,? All the police have is his word that he dropped her there and left her there. Picking up other rides afterwards really doesn't mean anything. He could be a really good liar. At this point anything could have happened to Mackenzie and all anyone has is a text to her mom and a lyft request.

I think the Lyft driver is in the clear, but your post gave me an idea. Could the Lyft driver have faked other rides after dropping off ML? Could he have used his own phone to request a ride and then be the driver who took that ride?

I've never used Lyft so I don't know. Anyone?

I agree...I don’t think it was a random stranger. Either, she has had an online relationship with him or has met him before. To meet at that time of night, she imo must have been highly interested to meet with him.

I agree. And he must’ve been waiting there in the park for her, as the Lyft driver saw some sort of happy interaction between them before pulling away.

If the park is only 10-15 min from the airport, why didn’t he just pick her up there? Seems awkward like, “I’ll meet you in this dark park at 3 am, you catch you own ride there and I’ll be in my usual spot, waiting”. “Oh, okay, because that’s not creepy at all!”

And I listened to the PC again. LE reviewed the tape of ML in the airport between the time she landed and the time she caught her ride, and they declined to comment on what she was doing as it is part of the investigation. Hmm - why would they decline comments unless she did something telling - like change outfits, fix her hair/makeup, stand there checking her watch constantly, fight with someone on the phone, burst into tears, something? Otherwise they’d say there was nothing out of the ordinary in the footage.

Lyft did confirm he picked up passengers shortly after dropping her off, and records would show that. They weren't just taking his word for it.

Dealing with the trucking community I understand trafficking all too well.
I don't see it as the situation here.
This is just sad.
Let's remember her friends and maybe family are reading here.
If this turns out positively and she comes back, I can't even begin to imagine her feelings .
Damage already done IMO and how could she deal with that?
And MacKenzie if you can see this, please know I'm not among those anywhere who might judge you.
Let someone know you're ok and you can take any time you may need to heal.

Agreed! I hope if she is found safe, this thread and the other one will be completely deleted because people are saying some terrible things here and any employer that googles her name will get an eyeful of embarrassing information that she doesn’t deserve to have out there.

I’m going to leave my opinion here :
Kenzie met someone (male or female) at the park. None of her friends are aware of the meet-up, and have not spoken to her since. Neither has her poor family. The only thing obvious at this point is that no-one knew who she was meeting up with, as far as we know. So this meet-up May have been a private relationship that wasn’t typical for her to share with others. AND I agree with @bradfordsleuth - an accident involving water is a very viable scenario. I’ve seen it a time or two in cases I have followed. End result is that no one has come forward stating they were indeed with her that evening, nor does anyone know who this meet-up might be- No matter who it IS. So literally, it could be anyone. Any one person she had communication with. MOO

The lyft company is also cooperating and have indicated in the above link that the lyft driver continued providing rides immediately after dropping Kenzie off.

They made sure to use the word "passengerS" so i am guessing the driver picked up more than one person during the night. Lyft does keep a person "ride history" so it wouldn't be that hard to ID the people who rode after ML.

I wonder if any passengers from her flight noticed anything with her. Was she talkative or did she keep to herself on the plane. If talkative, what was talked about ect. Did she seem upset, nervous, happy ect?

That's a great thought!

Hopefully, LE can somehow get information from the airline about whether/who was assigned to the seat next to ML on the plane...she may have potentially spoken to that person, and/or they may have noticed her texting someone, etc.

I'm guessing that would also require a warrant, but I don't know how that works with the airlines.

I agree & it makes it seem more likely that she was meeting with someone who didn't really care about her or putting her out at all, making me feel like it's not a good situation. Had the person she met have good intentions in my opinion they would've made the 15 min drive to meet her at the airport at 2am. That is unless the person was trying not to be seen by multiple people and/or on camera, or possibly they got out of work around 2-3am around the park. Does anyone know if there are there any jobs/employers in N.SL near the park where their workers would be getting out around that time?

Maybe a wife was out of town and it was neighbors he didn’t want to see anything. By picking her up at a park, he could sneak her back into a condo garage. Confirm how, though? I'm curious if it was solely the lyft driver who saw the car and they need to re-interview him to make sure they get the details right. I'm guessing there most likely weren't any other eyewitnesses given that it was 3am on a Monday morning. But maybe that's what they're trying to figure out. I'm truly baffled by everything in this situation.

LE is probably looking for CCTV verification of the Lyft driver's "Kenzie meeting her person's " vehicle description....moo
