UT UT- STILL MISSING 5 -Year-Old Elizabeth Shelley , Logan, 25 May 2019 (UNCLE ARRESTED) #2

Just going off of photos/ locations he was spotted in the general vicinity

I'm surprised she hasn't been found

This abduction was committed in town/and the perp was likely only on foot

He likely could not of carried her far

He was never seen on surveillance with Lizzy

There are no large wooded areas in close proximity

Several blocks carrying Lizzy to even get out of town

She almost has to be somewhere near by, I'm just a bit surprised they haven't yet found her

I finally just caught up! I have a few questions:
1. Why would AW still be carrying some of Lizzy’s clothes? I’d think he’d want to be rid of them!

2. Where did LE find some of Lizzy’s other clothes buried?

3. It’s been said Lizzy was wearing either a skirt or jeans shorts (?) when last seen. Why wasn’t she in her PJs when last seen? Did her mom notice that the PJs Lizzy wore to bed, were found in the house and the skirt / jeans shorts were missing?

4. It’s been said in pressers & elsewhere, that “the family was up late.” Who is the family that lives there? Other children? Lizzy’s grandparents? Mom’s BF?

5. I’ve seen AW’s mom mentioned. Does she live in the house? Nearby?

6. And the photos of AW exiting a store and other photo of him next to it: What is on his head? Backwards baseball cap? It’s just his hair? Looks kinda like someone took a black marker to his head!

7. Has it been mentioned where AW has been living/staying?

Sorry for so many questions. I did a rush job catching up. Thanks to everyone who posted the video, the photos, great comments, and the locals that told/explained of the surrounding areas.

I’ve been at WS from almost the very beginning when there were just a few hundred of us and it was easy to catch after being away from a case for a day or so. Not so much now.

Took me all day today and I was only gone a half a day yesterday.

Anyway, TIA for any answers you have to my questions.

PS: One theory I have is that Lizzy’s mom & her brother AW were up late arguing about his drug use, no job, no place to live/stay and she kept saying he had to leave. Maybe he left, as she ordered him to, he came back, took Lizzy for revenge/spite?
Just a thought!

Not to be gross, but really, how can this kind of thing occur and searchers - people and dogs - not smell anything?

Guess I've never hidden a body in my house for a few days or I'd know the answer

Well, my apologies, I also prefer not to be gross, but I've been in some homes that already had a pre-existing "smell" that might overpower early indoor/air-conditioned decomposition. It's easy to forget that not everyone lives like you. A hoarder's house, or someone with way too many pets, or even a clean person's house who's experiencing a long-term illness, they will set you straight right away and make you pine for the Pine Sol. Or a gas mask.

Looking at some of the search photos from over the weekend, it seems that there are a number of areas that were pretty difficult to search--mountains of mulch piled at the recycling center, fields where the searchers were ankle deep in mud--where a very small body could be very difficult to find.

Do we know when ES was last seen by anyone other than her mom?
No. Idk if she attended school or not.
he possibly may truly not know what he did or where he put her.
this is so true, even though we don’t want to believe it. He was up for hours, consuming alcohol & using some type of drug* & staggering around at all hours, then consumed some beer, interrogated at PD for hours, so he was not functioning clearly, imo. A lot of what he told LE Saturday would not make sense imo because he was under the influence. All moo
*he told LE he uses daily

For sure. I hoped his shoes or pants might yield info. But since he was all over CC, I suppose not.

No, I think maybe missing bed linens made mom realize something was very wrong. Mom knows her brother, knows his relationship with the child, etc., she knew she needed LE, the two were not out picking up donuts to surprise her.
I dunno. If the msm reports are accurate that the family discovered Elizabeth missing at 9:30 am and according to the police blotter they called LE shortly after 10 (the blotter only archives three days so the report has now scrolled off the site) then it seems like the family/mom was worried enough to call the police pretty much after a cursory search of the home indicated she was gone. We don't know if they connected their concern to AW at that time.

But yes, IMO it's possible the family saw something out of place or suspected AW may have done something bad, especially since his skateboard and phone were left in the house.

Whipple was ordered to complete five years of probation in conjunction with this case, and court records reveal he was progressing well until the beginning of this year, when he started missing classes and appointments with his treatment provider and counselor.

In March, he reportedly told his probation officer he was going through some personal issues and it was beginning to affect his treatment. By early April, he was no longer in contact with his probation officer, and a Salt Lake District Court judge issued a warrant for his arrest with bail set at $25,000.

Where's Lizzy Shelley? As hunt for 5-year-old continues, evidence mounts

(Repost from earlier)
After the new year, it sounds like he transitioned back to
old habits.
Sounds to me he was under court order for treatment & counseling. Of course we don’t know the type of treatment he was receiving. I have thoughts I’ll refrain from posting, for now. Moo

Thanks. It's not an overly troubling rap sheet as far as rap sheets go, although the domestic violence could possibly show a propensity for issues with females. That said, there was an article posted here yesterday which gave an overview of his circular conversations with LE, and one thing stood out and raised the hackles, if you will. He made mention of his "depraved" life. That statement truly gave me pause, and made me jump from him trafficking this child to more than likely killing this child. Depraved. I wish we could hear more of his statements to LE.

On a side note...thanks for all you do here. You're an informative bunch and this place has been my "goto" spot for so many cases. I have been a member and lurker for a long time. I finally decided to jump into the fray as something about this kiddo grabbed my heart.

"Alex was located on foot, brought back to PD, he failed to identify and had drug paraphernilia. Booked on those charges. Was interviewed but uncooperative, made false statements."

Did unc stop by sister's house because he was using whatever he had with him and was unable to go to his home? Maybe sleeping it off at sister's house? Was this able to happen because he was drugged up and unable to fight urges? Foo.

imo

So if we are now to assume the window is 2:30am- 6:30am - and he has pants that appear wet from the knees down in the video(all links up thread) where did he leave her ? Don’t they have infrared imaging ? Why can’t they find her if she is not buried ? Could the wetness of the pants if true be related to him burying her in muck? And that’s why?
