Police in search of missing Harrisonburg woman

54-year-old Allene Elizabeth “Beth” Redmon of Harrisonburg was last seen on or around October 24, 2021. Since then, Redmon has not been in contact with family, has not shown up for work and has not returned to her apartment.

Those close to Redmon are concerned because this is reportedly out of character and very unlike her to miss her obligations. Redmon does not own a vehicle.

Found deceased, man charged with first degree murder.

HARRISONBURG, Va. — A D.C. man is facing charges after the bodies of two missing women were found in Harrisonburg, Virginia Tuesday night.

According to a Facebook post from the Harrisonburg Police Department (HPD), the bodies of 54-year-old Allene Elizabeth “Beth” Redmon and 39-year-old Tonita Lorice Smith were found near Linda Lane. Both women had previously been reported missing.

Police say alleged 'shopping cart' serial killer Anthony Robinson in custody in Virginia

Authorities say the man meets his victims on dating sites and then meets them at motels. He met at least two victims at the Moon Inn, located in the 6100 Richmond Highway in Fairfax County.

Davis said he inflicts trauma to his victims, then kills them.

"He transports their bodies to their final resting place literally in a shopping cart," Davis added.

Harrisonburg Police reported two missing women were found dead Nov. 23. The bodies of 54-year-old Allene Elizabeth “Beth” Redmon of Harrisonburg and 39-year-old Tonita Lorice Smith of Charlottesville were found in an undeveloped lot near Linda Lane. The women's bodies were found near each other but their deaths occurred at different times.
