Ugh, he looks SO much older than her… I hadn’t realized the age difference
Here are some additional MSM news stories discussing the concealment charges.

That, and her mother moved here, as many of us, looking for a better life for herself and her future children. The mother worked hard as a nurse. "For her American dream", one might say. Her baby was born here. I hope there is a chance to collect for a fund for her and maybe the community will help raising the daughter. JMO.I've been thinking of the little one. She is an American citizen and I don't think it will be easy for family in another country to gain custody, but that is my guess, not based on experience or knowledge.

It lists 7/30/2024 as the offense date. So does LE have evidence indicating the date of death or are they basing that on Naresh Bhatt saying that is when he last saw her?JD&R records are actually available in Virginia for certain crimes involving adults.
This case is available.
I noticed, a female LE Officer escorted him out. How appropriate.
He claimed to have seen her the following day, so it can’t be based on when he last said he saw her; they wouldn’t take his word for anything. It lists 7/30/2024 as the offense date. Offense dates can be weird, and sometimes they don’t line up for one reason or another. If it’s accurate though, then I think they have evidence that he killed her on that day, or that he moved her on that day.
The problem with the baby staying in the US, in a foster family/being adopted, would mean that she would eventually loose all connections to her mother's (and father's) family, and the contact with her extended family living in Nepal. Even if it would be a friend of her mother in the US who would take care of the child, they would only have known MKB for three years, and most likely have little knowledge of the first 25 years of her life, and of her family in Nepal. Regardless how many promises are made now to keep the contact, will it be true 10 - 15 years from now? MKB's family have lost their daughter/sister, do they also have to loose their granddaughter/niece too? The child has Nepali citizenship by descent, not just only US citizenship. That, and her mother moved here, as many of us, looking for a better life for herself and her future children. It seems unlikely, though, that her father will have any parental rights terminated until he's convicted because he's currently innocent until proven guilty. So for now, it's unlikely they'll allow the child to leave the country. For a child this young, to be taken from mom and then to be taken again from whomever is caring for them for the next year, two years, however long a conviction might take, that could be very traumatic. I would hope that if it's decided the child will be cared for by one of the friends here in the US, that they'd be committed to Mamta's memory and ensure that the child maintains relationships with her family. The problem with the baby staying in the US, in a foster family/being adopted, would mean that she would eventually loose all connections to her mother's (and father's) family, and the contact with her extended family living in Nepal. They must have blood streaks that showed up with luminol to say she was “dragged.”AUG 23, 2024
The court documents state that a substantial amount of digital and forensic evidence was recovered from the home, indicating that Mamta’s body was inside the residence and likely dragged out. The documents also suggest the murder occurred on July 30.Mamta Kafle Bhatt’s husband accused of murdering her, dragging body from home: court documents
