ikr!!! she wouldn't tell the police, prosecutor, 2 dr's that were on her side or even her own lawyers, but she will tell him

You forgot about the 28397 reporters she also spoke with.

:sigh:

OMG I'm going to scream. More carp from the foreman!

After five harrowing months, it was the ending no one wanted.

"My stomach was shaking, my hands were shaking because of the impact of the decision we had just made." Said Bill Zevakos, the jury foreman in the Jodi Arias trial who is speaking out about what happened behind closed doors during jury deliberations.

The jury was deadlocked 8-4, with the majority reportedly voting to sentence Arias to death.

INSIDE EDITION'S Paul Boyd asked, "Do you have any sense of not finishing the job here?"

Zevakos replied, "Absolutely and it had a very strong impact on all of us."

Zevakos won't say which way he voted but reveals there were moments when emotions in th ejury room reached the boiling point..

Boyd asked, "Were there moments of contention during the death penalty phase?"

Zevakos replied, "There were moments of contention all the way through because every decision we made was huge. Everybody is so emotionally charged and we're having to control those emotions and it's only fair when does emotions bubble over but we're able to reel it back in."

He said Jodi's 18 days on the stand actually hurt her case.

Zevakos said, "She was obviously lying about things and you know what happens when you tell a lie, you have to tell another lie and another lie. The longer she was on the stand the worse it was for her in that case."

But the foreman said he did believe her claims that Travis Alexander abused her.

"I do believe that she was emotionally and verbally abused." Said Zevakos

He said he'll never forget the moment the guilty verdict was delivered.

Zevakos recalled, "I had vowed that I wasn't going to look at her but I did and seeing her face when that verdict was read, I will remember forever."

The suffering of Travis Alexander's family had a profound impact.

Zevakos said, "You can't listen to that kind of hurt, the pain, the anguish, and not be touched."

And get this, he says he would actually like to reach out to Arias.

Boyd asked, "What would you say to Arias if you had a moment with her?"

Zevakos replied, "Yeah, I'd really like to talk to Jodi. But I'd like to ask her the questions that everybody wants to ask her. What really happened?"

Holy moly.

So much for not drinking with reckless abandon tonight.

This is some day I'm having... rushed my dog to the emergency clinic because he wouldn't jump up on the couch and had a hard gurgly tummy. As soon as we got into the exam room ... He made a deposit on the floor....She examined him and said he WAS constipated but he seems fine now.

Yep, I paid $67 for my dog to **** on the vet's floor.

and now this!

Awww, sorry about your doggie. But better to dump on your vet's floor than on your couch!

Glad your furbaby is free and ... clear. :floorlaugh:

I wondered which way the foreman voted. I think he should do a little research if he is familiar with the internet. Heck, even listen to Jodi's interviews, especially where she is asked about Travis' last words.
Jodi has been being sneaky and stalkerish since she was a teen, I'd dare say she was a pro by the time she got to Travis. And anyone who believes TA asked that little hoots for a b--j soon after in a car, out of the blue, is a fool. Arias set the tone and covered her tracks, a master manipulator--why every boyfriend and she, herself says she wouldn't harm a spider.
The truth is Travis did treat her well compared to her stalking, controlling, snooping and when he decided--there was something off about that girl and she didn't suit for marriage....she flipped everything around and starting doubling down on her evilness till she murdered him in premeditated, savage cold blood.....she been trying to do again for 5 years to TA and his family/friends. When is enough?

There's not a thing sweet or helpless about her. Yes, she had feelings of emptiness and feeling like she'd be nobody if she couldn't attach herself to someone. Sad. But she takes it WAY further than most of us can imagine. Her love interests are seen as things to be tightly controlled and watched for any deviations from caring about her and HER alone. She is a snake ready to EAT the spider. Totally malevolent, take no prisoners approach, and if you stray from the program it can get very, very ugly as we see.

She posted pics with herself and the Grand Canyon behind her......so SHE was there and according to her post, her BF and the kids........not a stretch to see SA going with them, or the rest of the crew.

well, someone took the pic?

JMO, if Travis was the one who killed Jodi Travis would be in his cell on Death Row as we speak....

However The jury did their job, sucks they came to a deadlock in the last phase...I think we should consider ourselves lucky they got the first two phases right....

Could not imagine having to sit through the entire trial again...

Why do you believe she was if there is no evidence of it? I'm not trying to be confrontational. Phoenix is three and a half hours from the Grand Canyon--four, if you factor in a stop along the way, parking, etc.

I think that it was awful her fam wasn't at the courthouse, but it's a stretch to assume that her mother was almost four hours away...?

It is my opinion she was there with her family, and only my opinion. I feel she would have been there in that courtroom for her daughter if she was in the general area. I don't believe she was told that it was just another jury question. I would think the defense team/mitigation specialist would have notified her that it was something more and to come in.

I'm anti-DP too.
I thought the chances of the CM getting the DP were pretty low based on my research of the ~60 women currently on DR.
I wanted JM to get the DP just 'cause I wanted her to lose - that was just a petty, mean-spirited feeling on my part.;)

Mr. Z strikes me as ANOTHER (is it possible?) attention seeker sucker-fishing along with this trial.

I'm on the fence about the DP, but lean more toward not being in favor of it. If I were in the Alexander family's shoes, I may feel differently. I would never be picked as a juror for a DP trial because when asked that question during jury selection, I would say that I probably couldn't impose it.

I was never sure she would be sentenced to death. I always felt it was a 50/50 shot so I wasn't surprised at all with their verdict yesterday.

She will never be a free woman and we have this jury to thank for that, whether you agree with the sentencing verdict or not, they deserve a certain amount of respect for their service and putting JA behind bars for the rest of her life.

I'm sure Large Marge can't wait for the first Book Club meeting where Jodi plans to lead those lesser than her and "stimulate conversations of a higher nature"

...oh don't forget the reporter. If it's true that he has a radio show, I betcha he wants her to call-in...like DP did with that radio station in Chicago.

omg! does he have a radio show???????????????????

So the foreman says they think it's "unfair that 12 average Americans who aren't lawyers had to make such a crucial decision."

HELLO.

That is what our jury system is all about. Is he freaking kidding me? They should have mentioned on their juror questionnaire that they had a "problem" with making such a crucial decision. What is he talking about??

It almost sounds like he is anti-death penalty, doesn't it? moo

I can promise you all, that CMja will not make it in prison. Perryville was hard when my ex was in there. The guards will look away, rather then insert themselves in the middle of something. I personally "witnessed" an inmate RAPE his girlfriend on a picnic bench while there for a visitation one evening. She was screaming for help, and the guards turned their backs. I was strip searched on one visitation, with no exclamation, when showing up for another visit. Seems my ex had a scam going on and there were "gals" bringing in drugs to him. When he tried to assault me that evening during visitation, I ran to the sally port and the guards opened it up for me, closing it just as he got to it. One of the guards who took me back to the main entrance on the bus, gave me the low down.

He told me I did not belong in this environment, I was different than all the other women coming to see their husbands, and boyfriends. Everyone who was incarcerated in prison found "Jesus", it was just all part of the game while the inmates con their loved ones into bringing contraband into the prison and put money on their books. He told me I deserved and should demand better of myself. I was educated, I worked, I had a 2 year old daughter. My ex was being investigated for the murder of a top MM down in Florence, evidently "kites" had been found in his possession and eluded to the hit being orchestrated. The guard told me to get the hell out of there and never turn back.

Perryville is much worse now. It is a medium/maximum facility. These inmates have nothing but time on their hands to devise new ways of making weapons. Newspaper can be made into a shiv, a light bulb can be used to create an inferno in a cell, hooch can be made toxic to it's intended victim. No matter where you are placed, SOMEONE can always get to you, even in PC or solitary confinement.

CMja has no "Game", she has no affiliation, she's from Cali, and has no family in prison.

Like I said before, she is toast.

That being said, any talk about CMja having a cushy life in prison or getting less than Life (with or without parole) or DP should just be dropped. She will experience Hell on Earth. I can guarantee it. And that's not my opinion, it's the facts.

Thank you SO much for your post. I'm sorry for what you had to endure.
You've really helped me feel better about the lack of a verdict yesterday & I appreciate it! :seeya:

I wonder why they never mentioned she was armed with a gun and knives in a rental car when she got arrested. I know she said she was going camping with four strange men, but that just doesn't make sense. If she has PTSD over using a gun, and she had just killed someone, why in the world would she get a higher caliber weapon and go camping with people she didn't even know (great memory but didn't know the name of the people she's going camping with).

The more I hear from Mr. Foreman, the more I think his MMPI results would show an above normal spike or two.

Just for you. lol You're welcome.

Ewwwww! *throws peanut butter spoon in trash*

Hey WS Friends,
I just wanted to say this in case some of you decide not to stick around for the do-over in July.
Thanks so much for being there to go through this experience with me! I appreciate your words of wisdom, your experiences and your jokes! You're an amazing bunch!

well a friendship has almost ended over the jodi case. my fb had 33 posts back and forth with one friend who felt jodi was used, abused and wants to write her with compassion. well you know i tore into her . now she is quoting the foreman as him saying he thinks travis abused her emotion and verbal. does anyone know who voted for death? did the foreman ever say . did he? by the time 33 post showed up on my fb i deleted all. told her i will not discuss it on fb . did the woman vote no ? i think his job as foreman is looking forward to some big money and tv fame. perhaps he thinks hes is famous and will cash in. sorry of i am ticked off - i just feel something went wrong in that room .

When Jodi tries her little "I was abused by Travis" story on women that know real DV abuse, in childhood and adulthood---she's probably gonna get her butt kicked. Jodi cannot stop manipulating and conning people--well, there are always people smarter, prettier, richer or poorer and maybe more evil than her--- Jodi-little-fish in a big-bad-pond. Maybe some prisoner is serving time on lesser charges that had a family member murdered, knows how it feels...cause killer Arias sure doesn't.

The first time she pulls that hurt and confused, "I don't know what you mean" ploy, they're gonna bust her right in the mouth. Get it, now, Jodi?
