I agree with FanFlyer, looks like one of those swings that have the cover over them, in bad disrepair like the other items seen in the surroundings. Weird to me that the Trailer appeared really clean (even though it's been in the woods and is obviously older) and the truck appeared to be pretty clean too. Just throwing things out there. I definitely hope the family gets answers today. The waiting and not knowing....unbearable.

Ms. Turner, the property owner and grandmother to his Freshman son, said that she had been gone from that property for years...another report referred to it as an abandoned house. Probably not very liveable but the electric hookup was still serviceable and thus he used it as a resource for the camper.

Just go to google street views for that adress play with the directions and you will see the maroon/burge
burgandy sedan...it is the same color!

I can't tell,is it a sedan in the pic or a station wagon?

I see the skeleton of the swingset on the right, though.... next to the white whatever it is. I'm not convinced yet that it's not a sheet of some sort. Heck, for all I know, it could be a bed sheet hanging on a clothesline! Maybe the officers are standing there because it's a shady spot (although it's kinda coolish in Va today).

I'll post this here too. Unidentified Female found alive on I40 in NM. She escaped/was thrown from a car going 65 mph. She cannot speak and is badly injured. Many broken bones and much head trauma:

In regards to the tent like structure in the photo according to this article "The police may also erect tents or tarpaulins to minimise the view of a crime scene to both press and public and also so that a police doctor or pathologist can carry out a cursory examination of a corpse before it is moved for autopsy. Authorities seized Taylor's camper in addition to his truck. Investigators confirm surveillance shows Taylor at the Liberty gas station in Lovingston at the same time as Murphy.

Her story is also gaining more national attention. Jane Velez Mitchell will discuss the case on her show, Wednesday. Nancy Grace used a large part of her program to highlight the case Tuesday night.

The sheet thing by the old swing set is an old canopy from a swing (perhaps not the swing set itself, maybe even a sitting swing), left outside and falling apart.

The house has been abandoned, from some previous time according the earlier article, and left as it was. RAT was living in the camper, which is why it was well kept, and ran electricity to the camper from the house. That would be cheaper than trying to heat or cool an entire house, and be responsible for keeping up and repairing a house, to a man without a full time job, or any job after the SC investigation for that matter.

Reminds me of the old metal gliders, man I loved those things, better than swings, some had canopies too.

okay, I cant find this updated on their website yet... but the 5:00 wset show had a man who saw (and reported) taylor on monday the 5th with two others in his truck at the J&K market on 151, one was a white woman, the other a white unknown... this is in the amherst side of piney river/roseland area.... I really, really really cannot express enough that I believe the 151/56 connection involving crabtree falls needs to be looked at in a very, very serious way.... I want to shout this from the mountain tops... is there a button for this!!??!! lol adding more emphasis... people die and disappear at crabtree falls all the time... and there are so many campsites, woods, rocky caves, woods, woods, more woods, out crops, cliffs.. everything up 56... ~~~~Shouting on my way up the mountain top~!

Interesting that it was mentioned. Four hours ago, when I was trying to post the pics of the other car that used to be in the driveway...the google map switched back to a regular map and I saw a fairly substantially long creek that runs behind the home and possibly the property. Another similarity to MH's case.

O/T, just want to apologize for all my typos...keys are all jamming and sticking...real PITA.
