Carmen Flores
Age: 27
5'4"
Last seen: April 28, 2024, at home in Quincy, WA
Wearing: black jacket, burgundy blouse, gray pants
Autistic, Non-Verbal, communicates in writing

Resides with parents and sister. According to her sister, she has gone missing a couple of times before, but returned within a day. She went missing with people she befriended, but never a romantic interest. She communicates in writing on social media, but her social media profiles have been deleted. The family notified the police, but there has been little progress in the search. It is not known if she is in danger. Anyone who sees her or has information, should call 911.

None of this sounds good.

The time last seen (4:00 pm, Sunday, April 28) is specific and I wonder whether this was an eyewitness / family member sighting or other evidence (home video?). What were the circumstances?

She’s non-verbal but uses social media — does she have a phone or another mobile device? What was the timing of the deletion of her SM accounts?

Carmen, who's stature stands at 5'4", was wearing a black jacket, burgundy blouse and gray pants when she disappeared. If you think you saw Carmen, call 911.

Did she go missing from the family home? The description of her clothing sounds as though she was dressed, perhaps for a social event. Church event? Family dinner?

It has been over a month. Carmen is an adult, so that may hamper search efforts as adults can go missing voluntarily (though this sounds out of character). The article states “It’s not known whether Carmen is in danger.”

I hope she is located safe soon.

She is not listed on the Washington State Patrol Missing Persons Unit. According to their site, they only post a poster with their information if requested by family members? This would be a great way to get her name and face out there. Missing Persons - WSP

Jun. 28—QUINCY — The Quincy Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in finding a Quincy woman last seen April 28. The QPD is working with the Latino Civic Alliance in an effort to find Carmen Flores, 27. She is autistic but is able to communicate.

*****
Flores was last seen walking to a Quincy coffee shop. She could have been talking to an unknown person on social media. Her social media accounts were deleted shortly after her disappearance.
