It amazes me that time and time again we see differing details or information lost in reporting of missing persons. A lot of the time there is no photo and very few details reported.
In researching Colleen’s case, both of these instances have occurred. References in an article dated October 1985 include additional information that ‘could’ change the dynamic of the missing circumstances. I will post the article below but want to point out the added information and differing details.
The above and below is MOO based on excerpts pulled from the article.
*Friends* dropped Colleen off in front of the Castaways “restaurant” in Port Orchard vs A friend dropped her off at the bar. It has been reported both ways, a friend and friends.
Additional information, Colleen had recently moved to Port Orchard from California.
Colleen had medium length, light brown hair vs blonde as reported. So, could be blonde to light brown. Also reported as dirty blonde.
Colleen had a large, brown mole on her left cheek vs large mole on the left side of her chin. Which is it? Maybe in between.
Additional important information, she was last seen wearing blue jeans and a rose colored knit sweater. No further description.
No one recalls seeing her at the Castaways restaurant that night. This statement coupled with the first reference above can appear to change the circumstances and possibly her last known location. Again, MOO.
