Circumstances of Recovery: Law enforcement was notified by the home owner of 322 S. Basalt Rd. that her dogs had brought home a human hand. The dogs do not normally wander far. The hand was thought to have been found close to the home. A second search conducted the following day found a watch, shirt, pantyhose and a left sandal.

Fyi, this is the same hand ruled out being Millie on the first page of her WS thread.

It's also mentioned on her DoeNetwork page:

A single hand was recovered on July 18, 1984, but tests proved it was not hers through mtDNA comparison.

So many women missing in WA, it would be impossible to 'guesstimate' who it might be without more.

On Millie's thread it says they lifted 4 partial prints from the hand, so it must have been kind of, um, 'fresh'....
