Okay. My point. Or points (all IMO):
1) JA installed spyware on TA’s computer, by way of a file or via direct infection before she moved to Yreka
2) TA’s “name the person who told you this” (late May, a week before his death) rant was a result of realizing she had access to his computer, emails, personal/banking communications (the Trojan was beginning to make itself apparent)
3) TA’s anger (and I think this is true) as they ‘tried to view pictures’ was a result of his pushing JA’s face into the truth of the infection: he’s proving he knows his computer is infected and that she spied on him
4) On the other hand, there’s this: How did they access and successfully view videos at 4 am … only to find a ‘screen eating’ virus at --- what? – noonish?
5) Also: JA’s external drive didn’t “just quit” … it was purposefully busted into pieces. Why?

I hope JM addresses these questions during rebuttal

Snipped for space.

I've wondered for a long time if Jodi hadn't done something to Travis' computer. He didn't lock his doors and seemed to be a very trusting person, and she had a lot of access. It doesn't take a computer wizard to know there are programs out there you can use. You just google them and there they are.

ETA. I forgot to mention the identity theft by his brother, which guaranteed how upset Travis would be when he found out what she was doing.

I don't know who started all the rumors about paying for daily notes, etc...

BUT

HLN noticed a familiar name on the defendant's jail visitor logs and reported it.
It was a former HLN producer who is now one of Dr. Phil's producers, who has visited the defendant three times in jail this year.

I heard that myself, the other day.

ETA: They didn't show the actual logs, themselves
This screen shot was taken Friday, April 5 at 5:38:02pm EST
"Logs reveal who has visited her in jail"

IMO Dr Phil probably has another $600K just waiting to be donated into some
'charitable fund' ( ie laundered to the felon)) like he did with the Anthony family..

Oh God that's terrible NS! (((hugs)))

My sister OD and from the time she died, found and autopsied her body had started decomposing. There was no way I was going to put my mother through that. So my mom never got to kiss her good bye, never saw her again.

So, for those of you finding the strength to be recovering addicts, I admire you greatly.

This keeps nagging at me....

In the video that's been shown of Travis retelling the event where he was held at gunpoint, and JA is supposedly asleep with her head in his lap, he talked about how he tried to convey emotion with his 'retinas'....
Every time I see that full on face shot of him in the shower, right before she killed him, I remember those words. There is a message in his eyes. No doubt in my mind.

IMO IF he were ever to "arm" himself it would have been shortly after that and IMO he would have added that in his story and everyone would have known he bought a gun.

IIRC, DB said that JA was never ever left alone with his son. I thought that was so odd. How do you live with a woman for 4 yrs, and never leave her alone with your kid?

I wonder what was up with that. It seems like she was pretty quick at walking away from a child who was in her life for so long. I would have been very attached. Seems like she had no problem cutting that tie.

That was such a strange remark. My first thought was that DB knew that his ex-wife and mother of his child would be glued to his trial testimony, and he was covering his rear end in the event his ex-wife tried to get sole custody of their son by virtue of the fact that DB was co-habitating with a psychopath and potentially putting their child in harm's way.

There's no telling what lasting effect, if any, JA's presence had on this child. I hope he is getting therapy!

I was reading about Betty Broderick and she was diagnosed with: Histrionic personality disorder (HPD). Sounds like Jodi! This is one that i've never looked at.
***The first trial for BB was a hung jury, the second she was sentenced to two consecutive terms of 15 years to life.

Hers I believe was the First Trial CourtTv carried and they actually covered it. As in, no talking heads, no 5 minutes then a commercial for 3 minutes and they stayed on air until the trial actually broke for the day. BB's was in San Diego. I think back to those days, oh so long ago, the 80's...and I MISS COURTTV!:furious:

I think her actions after the murder are just as important as before in her diagnosis. And yet none of that was even discussesd by AL. Am I the only one that thinks that is weird. Makes her diagnosis incomplete as far as I am concerned. jmo

I thought she touched on that.. the after actions that we have heard about, plus any that we have not, and in between, all very understandable...All abused women do that. Call the men they kill and leave messages, see she was in denial, she traumatized herself by killing him. She was so upset that he tried to kill her, what followed over the next few days is just PTSD as the other man said.

No matter what we present, they have an answer for her behavior

(ps. i am kidding)

WOW! This is the first time my hearing about this! :what:
I don't think that this is any kind of coincidence!
Interesting!! (As I twist my moustache!!)

This is a tempest in a tea pot IMO. JA is the least of her concerns if this laptop contains confidential patient information that isn't password protected and encrypted and saved elsewhere x 3.
The DT has already received her report months ago no doubt. If a pro JA zealot stole the computer then they might be really disappointed to discover how truly ill their girl is, assuming they understood the terminology and format of her files at all.
I wonder what else was stolen?

Why would she leave and hope he stays in the shower 11 minutes? Why risk leaving and coming back and being seen by roommates or neighbors?

IMO she hid a knife in the bathroom and "surprised" him when she pulled it out and began stabbing him.

JMO

I don't think she actually left. I think Travis believed she had and perhaps didn't stand at the door to make sure she did and bold the doors, lock the garage, check the windows.

Thanks. I didn't realise there was a Mitigation Witness and Specialist.

http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.go...=CR2008-031021

Mitigation witness isn't a job like Mitigation Specialist. I just meant that ALV was originally hired to be a witness regarding mitigation--to testify about why Jodi shouldn't be put to death. The Mitigation Specialist will not be a witness at all, just a consultant. It's a completely separate thing.

I think she came back before he got in the shower. I said earlier I think she interrupted his cleaning. He showered after that. JMO.

I just think she had decided to kill him, went through lots of trouble and expense to go to Mesa to do just that. If she left, left him out of her sight, he could have: gone somewhere, Been on the phone perhaps mentioning she had been by, gotten into the shower but locked the bathroom or bedroom doors...any number of things that would ruin her plan to go to AZ undetected and kill Travis and use her extra gas to get to Utah to meet Ryan/PPL meeting for her alibi.

There was a long phone conversation on June 2 iIRC and several short calls on June 3.
IMO she used these contacts to make sure Travis would be home if she drove all that way and used all of her money on gas. I do not think she told him she was coming. Why risk him telling someone? She was going to kill him and didn't need him mentioning her even possibly stopping by. She went to a lot of effort to not be traced in AZ at all.

She knew she could get in the house once she arrived. Make up some story about how sorry she was they fought and she wanted to leave him the check for the car payment....and guess what? Brought some KY, can I spend the night :great:
I just do not see him trusting her enough at that point to allow her in his bed to sleep with him. After everything he had said to her. - by that I do mean sleep... It put him in a very vulnerable place. More IMO than a shower would, but maybe she did show up at 4am and they slept.
It really seems like the first thing she would do is start having sex with him based on what I have heard so far. I just do not believe she was there (to his knowledge anyway) until after 1pm.
moo

ALV reminds me of former Sec of State, Madeleine Albright.

I want to assure you that ALV does not look like or even act like Madeline Albright. I have met Madeline Albright. She is incredibly smart, eloquent and served our country with integrity. ALV is no Madeline Albright.

This post is the best argument I've heard for an accomplice. Just add "ran the dishwasher, locked up the dog, wiped down the bannister, cleaned the floor with the new cleaner, etc.

And all with a severely injured finger...she's a big baby when it comes to her own pain, remember she couldn't kill herself because the little cut she made on her wrist "hurt too much."

Huh? There was no accomplice. Everyone but Jodi had their alibis checked out especially seeing as the police thought in the beginning that she might have had an accomplice because they were dubeous at first that she would have been able to drag Travis back down the hallway and back into the shower stall.

But the best reason that there was no accomplice is that Jodi herself would be the first one to blame everything on them... that her and this ficticious person went to Travis's house to visit, and the ficticious person killed him for whatever reason and threatened her to keep her mouth shut about it or he/she would kill her too. There's no way on earth that had there been an accomplice Jodi would NOT have blamed everything on them at right from the beginning - NOT. A. CHANCE.

And that actually would have been a reasonable out for her had there been an accomplice. Her bloody palm print could be excused as her trying to help Travis. Her hair could be excused as her trying to stop the "real" killer from killing Travis and gotten in a tussle with the ficticious person. Her blood mixed with Travis's blood and the cuts on her fingers seen later by others could be excused as her tussling with the ficticious person to try to heroically stop them from killing Travis. Her not calling 911 could be excused as her fear of the "real" killer she was stuck with for the ride back home and he/she threatening her to keep her mouth shut. etc., etc., etc. There being an accomplice would have been the BEST excuse for her to get out of HER having killed Travis scot free with all the blame going to the ficticious person while she ends up looking like the hero.

All the things Jodi had to do to rid the scene of her presense were things she didn't expect she would have to do when she left CA for Travis's house because her vision of how it would happen was that she'd stab him once or twice by surprise and he'd die quickly and neatly in the shower. She didn't plan on his being able to get out of the shower and down the hallway leaving a mess of blood all along the way.

She also didn't use the floor cleaner in any of her trying to clean up. Travis had just gotten it, and it had to be put together before it's first use. There is no evidence that it ever left the spot where he himself left it and that it was ever used.

There simply was no accomplice, and that's that.

Thanks NS. Even though it was 12 years ago when I stopped.....you still think about it. I have been to 7 funerals (all my friends) that died from an OD.

I am so very sorry about your sister, and your poor mother.....just tragic.

Definitely. Like this:

If this has been posted, sorry. I have just gotten back online and saw one page posted by a WSer, went to look for another, and found this had been posted by State v. Arias on Facebook.

This is kinda OT but it mentions PTSD and how it is never a defense or an excuse

Marine Absolutely Loses It During Road Rage Incident Caught on Tape: ‘Get the ****** Out of Your Truck!’

Once officials learned of the road rage incident, the Marine responsible was detained and cited for communicating a threat. He is reportedly a Purple Heart recipient and may be suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), according to his friends who are defending him on the web.

Psychologist Dr. Michael Mantell told the station that he may have what is called “intermittent explosive disorder

“PTSD is never a defense or an excuse,” Mantell explained. “It may be an explanation.”

Obviously...who the eff started that bs ...??? I was trying like hell to get those rumors ignored last night....there is no way Phil would sacrafice is failing career by siding with JA.

Effin trolls....give them an inch and a dictionary, and they will take a mile...

Moo.

See you on Monday. I'm going on time out.

It didn't bother him to bring on Lisa Irwin's parents to his show and give them a forum. I didn't bring this information here last night, but did express my disgust with it and I don't consider myself a troll...
