Could Ms. Wong be called to the stand to verify that she was the person who received the tape with Travis shooting the gun? I'm not concerned whatsoever about her having an attorney, all networks have their own lawyers.

And you know, just go ahead and show the video. At least the Jurors will see Travis alive. Because all they have now are the awful Autopsy photos and all the lies given to them by Team Jodi.

Idk...juror 11...in his 30's long hair in ponytail, dark hair, Hispanic, and wears skulls and bones on his tee shirts...maybe he reminded jodi of mr. juarez too much and was distracting to poor jodi...lol

Who wears that to court? Well besides him?

JW almost had a complete collapse after jury questions. She got up to do direct and sounded like she had been free basing Red Bull, talking in a hurried, panicked tone, almost gulping breaths down. This went on for about 10 very bizarre minutes until she started fumbling her papers, said she forgot the question she was about to ask and released a frantic cackle, forcing the judge to take a 10 minute recess while JW went to the bathroom to breath into a paper lunch sack. It was crazy!

:yourock: :yourock: :yourock: I would have responded sooner but I had to clean the mouthful of food off my screen first.

JW was completely rattled after that little in chambers thing. Her pace was all off and she was rushing and kept losing her train of thought mid question to the point where she had to ask for a ten minute recess.

Not sure if it was simply that the redirect was not going well and she was still perturbed about the tone of the jury questions but her composure was visibly affected after that little caucus.

I believe Ms. Wilmott's rattled condition most likely began yesterday while reviewing the juror questions prior to posting them to ALV. Trying to be unbiased, those questions were not in any way positive toward the defense of Ms. Arias that I could hear. I believe the defense team viewed ALV as the best hope for keeping Ms. Arias off death row. I would agree with that point but I also believe Ms. ALV did not succeed.

Ms. ALVs responses were as effective as Jodi's, just repeat the same bs and not worry about addressing the question. Seems painfully obvious to me if the question shows doubt that one should realize readily that the message was not well received the first time. Even watching Jodi yesterday and today, it seems to be sinking in that the jury is not buying into this story. The fact that Ms. ALV only had a face to face interview opportunity with a confessed liar, was far too much to overcome. It is obvious her assessment of this situation was both incomplete and totally tilted in Jodi's favor. The jury already knows it cannot believe Ms. Arias, why should they believe a person who interviews only Jodi and spouts off a bunch of stuff when the physical evidence defies a "defensive episode". The awful character assassination of Travis by ALV was uncalled for and unsupported. The jury knows that.

No wonder Ms. Wilmott was having trouble, her client is, most likely at a minimum going away for the rest of her life at best, and it seems possible the rest of her life might be less than natural - JMO.

Jodi Arias Trial - Day 46 - Part 2 - YouTube

At 39:28 JW asks to approach, interrupting JM's questioning. It looks like ALV glares at JM. Then she turns her head to the jury and says something, maybe under her breath. Can anyone tell what it was? TIA

All I see is her lips/jaw coming together and then parting slightly like she usually holds her mouth. I see no word(s) being said at all.

So did I. It was so uncomfortable and embarrassing. We've all had our moments, hers was broadcast on national TV. Ugh!

Fill me in, I didn't get to watch after about 11am az time most of the day. What happened?

It looks like one syllable. Something like "jerk" maybe? What do you think?

I studied it again and find "jerk" entirely plausible, if not likely.

It would also not be surprising given her generally antagonistic conduct.

I wouldn't expect anyone to go out and purchase an entire new wardrobe for jury duty. It's been how many days ? 100? Cut the guy a break. Consider what he's being paid! What he's given up! And the fact he's sat there sick all week long.

Totally agree with you. This would 100% work in favor of the prosecution. The DT thinking that the jurors will see the video and make the leap to TA being a gun owner? Ludicrous.

The only one who says that he owned/possessed a gun is the defendant. We've seen how much the jury values her word.

Show it for sure. Show him having fun with friends, smiling. Definitely.

Nurmi seemed absolutely USELESS at the time. He should have done something to assist or to head things off at the pass. Imo, he could have handed her a note telling her to take a break or slow down or something. But he just sat there like a lump on a log. Some partner.

It's interesting that the last expert witness left to save JA - hired by the DT, ended up being the best PT/JM witness, by not budging an inch, who was known for being likeable, also rude/fighting JM, oh no wait Mr. Martinez. and was pro JA/DT. It's Irony at its finest!

It just proves that this case is solid - it has the most evidence for premeditated murder that I have ever seen. Since she stole the camera, rope, knife - I can easily see felony murder.

Near the end of Alyce's testimony today she said that she believed she got the "Jodi shooting in the closet" info from Dr Samuels...is this a no-no? Is she allowed to be privy to someone else's testimony, and then use is as her own while she's on the stand?

She also threw Dr. DeMarte under the same bus.

It was her way of deflecting blame, shirking responsibility, and casting aspersions all rolled into one lame answer.

And when they see him shooting huge automatic weapons, they are going to laugh at the thought of him having a little .25 caliber hidden in his closet shelf.

With No ammo.

12 measly dollars a day...according to HLN...534 bucks so far since day one of trial...=(

Especially after today, its seems pretty obvious that the DT and JA have lost, and the worst has yet to come (JM's rebuttal and closing). So, the pundits are left sounding more and more idiotic and distasteful with each of the remaining few days of trial.

HLN is particularly disgusting.. has turned this trial into a catheter commercial with a few minutes for trial breaks here and there... ugh.

AND I'm starting to think we are looking at this trial almost as SPORT. God I do not like JA but the extent of my hate for has started to make me question if I really have gotten too involved. I don't know. Its a good thing there is a two day break, I'm pretty sure I need 'em.

I've been going through the juror questions from this morning (wanted to get them all down to look at as a whole), and there's one that really leaped out at me -- not the question, exactly, but the answer.

The question is: Regarding the text message from Travis to Jodi where he was upset about her BS story from Michelle K or Elena, what exactly was the BS story that Jodi told Travis?

ALV says the story is that someone came up to Jodi where she was waitressing and told her that Travis was seeing Lisa Andrews. Why does ALV believe this story? Because Travis WAS seeing Lisa Andrews at that time.

So, if I understand this correctly, if Jodi had said President Obama called her at home and said the FBI had seen Travis with Lisa at the local Olive Garden, ALV would have believed it because Travis WAS at the Olive Garden with Lisa.

WTF?
