BBM~ Also Gus testified Jodi called him (Jun4/Jun5-early hours) and told him she killed Travis. There was someone else in the car with him when Jodi called, that is still a mystery.

Wasn't that call he received when the mysterious person was in the car with him a call from Chris Hughes?
At least that was what he testified during the evidentiary hearing on prosecutorial misconduct, when he plead the 5th when he was asked who was in the car with him. I don't remember the details, but it was something about Chris Hughes calling him to ask him why he was on the Defence's witness list.

Did Gus testify or in any way say that Jodi called him and told him she killed Travis? I must have missed that, so sorry if it was discussed before, but somehow that strikes me as odd. Wouldn't that have been a huge thing? I mean, for one Gus would be in big do-do for failing to report a crime, and it would mean he knew Travis was dead and didn't tell anyone about it until he was found, and that afterwards he remained silent with such important information while Jodi spun her tales of 'I wasn't there' and 'the ninjas did it'.

I mean, Gus was kinda...weird, but that seems like a bit much even to me. If anyone could clarify whether he truly said that Jodi called him after the murder and told him that she killed Traivs or not would be very much appreciated.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting that! As I try to figure out exactly what happened, without even trying, the things that JA says lead me to certain scenarios....truth is, we don't know that anything she said about any part of the trip or the killing is true.
Despite the fact that I consider her to be a complete and total liar, for some inexplicable reason, her claims seep into the scenarios. It makes no sense. I consider myself a normally intelligent person (no commentary please LOL)...
The only information we can use to try to piece it together in our own minds is what we know from hard data, copies of messages, etc.
I think you have just straightened me out, finally.
This happened in a way that none of us have even begun to discover.... scares me to think of what the truth really is. She skeeves me more than anyone ever has. And she is capable of so much more.

Okay. I hadn't looked closely at this check as an alibi to Travis. Wasn't it dated May something? Do we know for sure she didn't mail it to him?

Further says ... Dr Stocktons license Is "revoked"
And that ALV License status says "cancelled".

Maybe this is what the judge was referring to when judge reminded ALV that she is still under subpoena and will be back Monday or Tuesday ?

What a crock. I hope we all remember ALV and her apology to Jodi. ALV told JUan she apologized ' because the journals were not meant to be seen by others.'

Clearly, that is incorrect. These journals were FABRICATED for LE consumption.

I believe he testified to stains that looked like 'Kool-aid' on the passenger and back seats.

Hopefully if Flores was correct and all new model rental cars have internal gps on them, we'll get some rebuttal testimony on that.

The thing about the stains that has me a little confused is that Leslie Udee (sp?)sat in that rental car with JA for about an hour and she didn't recall seeing any stains.

Still waiting for the release of Falsity's journal pages from June 1, 2008. I know you told us the entry was long, gCharlie but what were your impressions & is it possible to summarize what she wrote? It is thisclose to her odyssey, so it ought to reveal some attitude, some plan, her thoughts.

It has been noted here that Falsity copied films, books, sayings and accounts from others and was not original. So true. She even began to testify that Travis's gun was a present from his grandfather. Like the real .25 auto was a gift from yours, Falsity?

Either she was too arrogant to think she'd mess this up or it never occurred to Miss Einstein that covering your tracks would include turning off the date stamp "just in case."

I can turn mine off so I presume it is an option on most digital cameras.

I was wondering if the defense team was making a big deal about Juan outside the court house signing a women's cane and a picture or two taken with some public fans.
Isn't it wrong for Jennifer Willmott and Maria Dela Rosa, the mitigation lady to go out for dinner with AVL when AVL is still going to be on the stand the next day.
Wouldn't this be looked at as coaching a witness.
