Can you tell me more about why you believe Brandon to be a victim of Isreal Keyes?
i started thinking of Brandon as a possible victim after reading the book American Predator about Israel Keyes when the author noted several interesting points that just broadly made me think of Brandon: Keyes stalking back roads and hiding in woods, committing crimes in a smaller town, and notably, that he had a good friend in the Army who was from Minnesota and got him into being a huge Vikings fan. Apparently Minnesota was an "important state" for Keyes according to the FBI (and yet, curiously, the public timeline only has him in the state once, presumably just as a connecting point to North Dakota...that cannot be the full story of Keyes' time in Minnesota, absolutely no way).

There are other points i've learned of since reading the book that, while not smoking guns of course, have only increased my suspicions:

1. Keyes apparently was very into gambling and may have possibly committed crimes near, or in the radius of, casinos. There are about a dozen casinos near Lynd and/or Marshall, MN

2. Keyes was familiar with and frequently used County Route 3. Brandon's call had been routed through a tower at the intersection of County Routes 3 and 10.

3. Another possible Keyes victim that people talk about is James Tidwell. Of course we don't know for sure if he was, but it's interesting to note that James' eyeglasses were found in his car as were Brandon's

4. Keyes liked to move victims' cars, and there is that confusion about the location Brandon was talking to his parents from, and where his car ultimately was found

there's also the fact that many people believe Brandon to have had an accident, which is a known typical Keyes MO. Yet please note that Brandon is listed on ViCAP which is a LE database for serial violent and sexual crimes. How many people believed to have had an accident get listed on ViCAP? i don't know.

I could be wrong, i'll admit. But personally I feel there are just too many coincidences here that I think more people should look into. No one seems to support me in thinking he could be a Keyes victim, but to be honest, I'm not gonna let it go.

IMHO Aiden Fucci stabbing Tristyn Bailey 114 times when he was 14 years old.
When arrested while sitting in the police car he takes a selfie and gives a peace sign (which should be a crime for some one like him to do) and said "Hey guys has anyone seen Tristyn lately?"

Because of his age, his life sentence can be reviewed in 25 years (which should also be a crime IMHO). Tristyn's mother made a sad and truthful victim statement in court:

"Aiden Fucci made a heinous decision on May 9, 2021, and took the very life that I brought into this world." "Please do not for one second think that he could be rehabilitated at any point. He is beyond saving."

IMHO I am not hoping happiness for him.

I think you’re making perfect sense. This will be an unhelpful reply, but I think Brandon was mentioned on True Crime BS recently and, just like Lauren Spierer, people might discount it because the disappearance is famous, however, if I catch your drift, and you catch mine, it’s the same as Lauren; eg. Their cases became famous on their own, others, like The Curriers didn’t become famous until after the information about Keyes came out, and it isn’t less likely to have been Keyes just because the missing person case is famous. I often think about his words to the FBI agent, when they asked how many people he killed and after an estimate, the agent said ‘That’s in the US, right?’ and Keyes replied ‘The only ones who matter, right?’ That burns my butt, because there’s no way he doesn’t have a plethora of victims in Canada and Egypt. I can’t prove that either, but like you, I keep going back to it.
ETA Keyes had also used cars as weapons, (this is discussed a lot on TCBS) hitting the target to disable them, then picking them up and abducting them, I wouldn’t rule that out in this scenario either.

ah, i didn't know that. do you remember if it was the most recent episode of true crime bs? i actually did write to Josh about a year and a half ago about why i think Keyes might be considered in Brandon's disappearance, and never heard back. But i'm sure he gets a lot of emails, or maybe it went to spam or something. I'd just be happy to have someone else take a look into it.

Brandon seemed to be quietly put on ViCAP with nothing more publicly said about it, which is very interesting to me. So, if not Keyes, maybe there is someone else LE is suspecting.

There are a lot of awful, disturbing cases so most of us could go on and on, but there are a few random ones that bug me.

One that strangely bothers me is Diane Schuler and whether that was an intentional murder-suicide or really purely a DUI accident. I know this isn’t one a lot of people think about or discuss given the finality of her being deceased, but I feel like it being a DUI accident is basically what was accepted and I feel strongly about the possibility it was an intentional murder-suicide (aided by substances both for “courage” and as a final “f u”). And perhaps part of what is frustrating is that there is really no way we will ever know now.

That aside, there are plenty I’d love to see solved, but the Lane Bryant murders really bug me. I have no connection to the area, but It just feels like it should be so solveable (shopping center, middle of the day, surviving witness) and yet there has been absolutely and utterly NOTHING as far as updates despite a whole store full of people being massacred. Plus, it’s always heart wrenching to hear the released tape of people who are killed after speaking to 911 and when you know help is on the way.

That and Missy Bevers because there literally is footage of it and somehow there have been no arrests or updates in all this time!

Lisa Montgomery murdering Bobbi Jo Stennet, cutting her baby out of her stomach and parading it around as her own for days. I followed that case closely at the time and had all but forgotten it until today when I saw an article saying she was supposed to have been given the death penalty Dec. 8 but got a stay because her lawyers have Covid. What a horrendous case and vile woman. Only woman on federal death row gets a stay of execution after her lawyers contract COVID | Daily Mail Online

Also Kaitlyn Markham in Ohio. The evidence was there but nobody ever charged

In March of 2023,xKately Markham's former fiance was arrested for her murder!

Katelyn Markham....just recently her former fiance was arrested for her murder. He is out on bail with an ankle monitor and awaiting trial in June of 2024!

How Fotis Dulos took the coward's way out rather than face the evidence that he murdered his wife; the 2 likely co-conspirators are one on house arrest and the other just managed to have electronic monitoring removed.

His family tried to strip the house as they prepared to return to Greece.

The 5 children are not just motherless but orphaned. Grandma in her 80's soldiers on to raise them.

While Michelle Troconis goes to Miami, then to Colorado to watch her daughter ski. Alternately!

Sigh.

Sky Metalwala. Everyone knows his mother killed him, yet she is free and had another baby (that was taken away, thankfully).
Too many so called parents like this one, have murdered their child and gotten away
With it- it makes me furious!!!! And sad

One case that never will leave my head is when I saw a photo of baby Brianna Lopez. That case have really touched my heart. (R.I.P Sweet angel) HOW can a parent abuse a small baby to that extent? Another case that have touched my heart is sweet little Gabriel Fernandez. He even wrote a mother's day-care saying that he loved his mama. How can the world be so cruel? His teacher had even tried to help him.

is anyone else out there getting fed up with all the True Crime podcasts and YouTube channels covering cases and picking a side just because that’s the way the wind is blowing. I’ve messaged more than a few podcasts and asked what’s up? Why all of a sudden we’re they taking a stand on a case that, to me at least, is completely incorrect. And any message I get back, if one is even sent that is, is the podcaster/YouTuber blaming me for not jumping on the bandwagon.
I’m just tired of it and I want to start my own. One that won’t be afraid to take an opinion that may not be favorable to a majority of the listeners. I’m looking for someone else who feels this same way who would also like to start one. I feel that I have a pretty good idea who killed the West Memphis 3 victims (and it’s not a step dad or family member of one of the victims) and would like to interview the person whom I believe to be responsible. He’s a person who lived less than 1/4 block away from where the murders occurred and in a police statement actually puts himself right near the kids that night. Yet somehow this guy has never been looked at.
Anyone who doesn’t believe that Terry did it, like myself, I’m looking for you if this is something you’d possibly like to do. I also believe we could possibly solve the JonBennet case too if we can get an interview with Jon or Burke. So if you also believe that it was a non family member who killed her that’s a plus too. We are on the same wavelength. I also have some pretty strong feelings about the Murdaugh case to boot.
I’m in Western WI FYI. If this sounds like something that you may be interested in please send me a message and we can discuss our thoughts on the cases and we will see if we agree with each other. I honestly believe we can solve one of these cases so let me know if this sounds like something you’d be interested in as well.

Terrence Williams. Does anyone have any doubt who is responsible for his disappearance?
