Why did the A's bring a video camera to depositions?

I agree with you. It's public information, and she can get it via JM's website, the court, the online newspapers and of course, NG will run these depos for a good 6 months, lol. She was just trying to be snarky, yet she failed.

I believe we are witnessing first hand how a narcissistic sociopath behaves. Many talked about KC being a sociopath, and she may be, but if she is, she developed it to protect herself from Cindy. That is SO clear to me now.

I will have to agree with you here. I cannot possibly imagine what it was like to grow up in that household. Not excusing what KC did, but I can see how she did what she did to get back at CA, if that is in fact the story. A sick person getting back at a sick person. That makes some sense.

I think that's exactly why they did it...so they could profit from the footage. According to Mitnik on NG last night, the camera was turned on him. The regular depo camera would not have been recording Mitnik, so now they have extra footage they can sell.

Bingo! It's all about the money to them. They have their own footage of the attorneys (not the video we see of CA/GA and occasionally Brad when he can squeeze his mug info frame). Just out of curiosity I would like to see what George thinks is flipping the bird. Who knows---George could have planned out that whole 'flipping the bird' accusation beforehand to make the video worth more (drama sells unfortunately and the As have that in spades). Mitnik said he has been pushing up his glasses the same way his entire life. I would assume George has seen him do it outside his deposition.

They seem to have no understanding of the distinction that only the witness is testifying under oath and can commit perjury. The lawyer asking the questions is a whole different matter that their lawyer could address in the appropriate ways. So childish.

Things do get edited at times. It is OK for her to have her own video. I have no issue with that at all.
The "A"s Will study what they have said till they have it memorized for next time.
They know they better study this one. Because they better be somewhat aligned.

IF they are smart they will also look at how nasty they came across and make some major adjustments.
I sure hope so, because they way they came off they will not be helping their daughter which is their ultimate goal.
And with the enormous media blitz; IF there is any reason to help Casey get a fair trial they just added another lock to her prison door with that behavior.

I think the lawyers at Morgan's firm just laughed and let her do it, because it made her look nutty. But it was a flauting of the rules that they didn't have to allow. It really isn't okay for her to do her own homemade video of the deposition, especially of the lawyers, who don't appear on camera anyway. In many places, the rules expressly require that the camera only may be on the deponent. The rules of civil procedure cover how depositions are to be recorded, by whom, when video of the deposition is allowed, what notice has to be given. If CA was a party to the case, she could have given notice in time, before the deposition, to have a reporter record it. Except it was already being video recorded, she is NOT a party, etc. Maybe the media edits things, but the official recording of the deposition won't be edited, or the transcript. She has a right to review and correct the transcript before signing it, too. It was just a way to be obnoxious, IMO. And for that, it worked.

I pretty much agree with all of the previous posts. CA brought her own camera in for many reasons stated. Powerplay, "right-back-atcha!" mentality, to have her own coaching tool so that they can get their "story" straight without having any more "inconsistencies", so she can critique GA on what he should have said or how he should have said it. I can honestly say, IMOO, that after the airing of these depo tapes, they look more foolish than ever before. They are both loose cannons, but CA more so than GA. I really don't know what to say about 2 grown people acting like this and showing absolutely no respect for the legal proceedings, and a complete disdain for any authority but their own. They think they are helping their daughter, but I believe they are making it worse. They should just not speak until they have to, and when they have to, they should keep their answers short, to the point, and control thier anger and emotions. From what I have seen, they are incapable of doing this. JMO, of course.

CA appeared to have a nonchlant demeanor while casually walking in for the depositions. Her fairly new way of dressing, (A what is hip look while sporting aviator sunglasses) reminded me of KC walking into the court house with a "Whatever will be will be" affect. The thought of CA wanting to record this deposition and later critique it at home makes me think the A's will share this with JB & his gang. I kind of miss the first CA and her school marm casual look and mushroom haircut because no matter what her crazy behavior was she appeared to be authentic initially Her look to date seems to give off the appearance that she has moved forward in her grief. I feel the only pain she may be dealing with currently, is possible TMJ for all that gum smack chew'in. It seems now CA is exibiting the same behavior KC admitted to on her first incarceration. stating, "I can't cry all the time I have to be composed to talk to LE"

I feel she has taken over Casey's identity and now thinks she Casey..

Maybe George wants to see if he can learn to blink faster, maybe Cindy wants to know how far she can slouch in a chair before falling out?
Cindy might also want to work on her sarcastic smirk to make it less/more noticable and George wants to see just how far he can stretch his mouth, maybe it could reach his ears.

I believe it is simply to gloat in exhaulted joy - they believe they stuck it to Morgan and scored major points . Not answering - questioning the attorneys - insulting Zeniada crying harrassment and victimization . Yes they also want to share their victory with the prisoner . Wont she be proud of them .

Good question! I thought from the beginning that the only reason ZG's lawyers were pushing for the depositions to be videotaped was so ZG could sell the footage, otherwise how would the lawyers be paid and why would they even take her so-called "case" (whether she really has any case is arguable of course, since KC and the A family didn't say she was the ZG in question.) And, basically, what other reason could the ZG camp possibly have for insisting on videotaping the proceedings? I've been gone for a week so I have to catch up on the depositions. If the Anthonys took video of the depositions themselves I think that is great. I think it would have been either to defeat the ZG camp at their own game, i.e. sell the footage themselves to prevent the ZG camp profiting, and/or to have their own video record of the depositions for any future purpose. If I were them I think I would do the same. And I think I would have the camera straight on ZG's face the entire time, since that is what is being done to them. MOO

The attorney's video tape lots of depositions and they don't do it for the $$$$$$$$$$$$ unlike the A's who always are thinking about how much $$$$$$$$$ they will make on everything they do. CA probably videotaped this so she could sell it later to make $$$$$$ for themselves or to possibly help pay for KC's defense. As always this is just my opinion! With the A's $$$$ has always been their motivation for every move they make.
