Why? What was the motive?

I think that all we are ever going to get as far as this print is concerned are opposing opinions...the defense says it's not hers, the state says she can't be excluded. She can't be definitely included either because of the quality of the print....so the defense claim that it is definitely not her print is incorrect. This print will remain unidentified with the closest match to Darlie herself.
Ok Cami, We'll agree to disagree on this one!:truce:

In reading on the JFD I found an evidence list along with the test results. I never realized that they found Darlie's blood on Devon's jeans. We know that she "supposely" did not go near Devon, so how in the world did her blood in up on his pants?

Yep absolutely, she was adament it wasn't Darin. Seems she's changed her mind now....
Seem's she changed her mind more than once.

Under direct:
10 A. No, sir.
11 Q. Do you know who did kill your
12 children?
13 A. No, sir.

Later under cross:

17 Q. Okay. And do you remember telling
18 her, "We believe we know who did it. That FBI guy is
19 working on it. We have two months to work on it. We
20 already have so much on him. I really believe he did it.
21 Darin will have to tell you about him it's a long story,
22 I know it's him. I saw him and I know it's him"?
23 A. Yes, sir.
24 Q. You wrote that to your aunt?
25 A. Yes, sir, can I see this page a minute

2 Q. Sure.
3 A. Yes, sir, that's it.
4 Q. Okay. So in this letter you say, "I
5 saw him and I know it's him."
6 A. I don't think that we were talking
7 about Glenn Mize at that time.
8 Q. Well, you were talking about someone
9 that you thought did it?
10 A. Yes, sir.
11 Q. Who did you think did it back on
12 November 1st?
13 A. There was another man that lived in
14 the neighborhood that some people were telling me about.
15 Q. Okay. Well, you say in the letter,
16 "I saw him"?
17 A. Yes, sir.
18 Q. I mean that is a pretty positive
19 statement. "I saw him and I know he did it." Are you
20 talking about that other man, or are you talking about
21 Glenn Mize?
22 A. I'm talking about the other man that
23 they were telling me about.

Oh I remember reading this. And didn't she get upset when she realized that the "jail employees" were "copying" her letters.

In her testimony she claims to have put a towel on Devons chest wound. :liar: But her testimony was made after all the evidence was out, so it was easy to alter her testimony. Like she did with the vaccume cleaner as a crutch to sready her dizziness.

25 A. I went over to Darin, and Darin was

1 down and he was breathing into Devon's mouth, and I
2 didn't know how to do CPR, I didn't even know what I was
3 doing. When Darin was blowing into Devon's mouth, you
4 could see some blood coming out of his wounds on the side
5 of his chest.
6 Q. All right. What did you do?
7 A. I didn't know what to do. All I did
8 was just put a towel on it. I didn't know what to do.

Interesting, it is too bad she got amnesia and couldn't identify this person later. Poor Darlie, such bad luck.

Placing a towel on his chest still doesn't explain how her blood got on his jeans. I would love to find out the exact spots were her blood was found.

I agree with you but it opens the door for the defense to offer that as the reason. She, bleeding, bends over him - viola blood on his pants.

Hey Rino - did you start out as a supporter of Darlie, like stupid me?

Darlie was very depressed when she had a third son..not a daughter.

perhaps another reason,if there is more than one,for the murders?get 2 of the boys out of the way, then later on there's more room and chances to have a girl?

Just wondering how do people know that they had money problems anyhow? I read that a statement was found in her bin that said they where overdrawn - although the statement was supposed to be months old, a fact that was 'left out' when it was reported.

They had just been rejected for a very small bank loan. I believe it was for $5,000.00

Okay I was tyring to go back and find where Cami talked about Darlie's depression. BUT ME CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE!!!

Anyhow, my thoughts in regards to the depression that Darlie was or wasn't experiencing. I "wonder" if she was PPD or PPP. Maybe depression runs through her family and it is considered a weakness not a disease (1996). Depression and it's damage/effects runs continiously through-out my family and up to recently denied that it even existed. According to my family - nothing is wrong with so and so, they just choose to live their life that way. AND IF SOMEONE DECIDED TO SEEK HELP ie pills THEN THE PILLS caused them to act that way. Sadness/depression was and still somewhat considered by my fam to be a choice. You don't have to feel that way.. Oh and the one I loved the most was SNAP OUT OF IT, oh if you hadn't of done this or that you wouldn't be feeling so sad etc. ON and ON I could go but I hope someone understands where I am trying to go here.

Of course, Darlie :behindbardidn't want anyone to know that she was depressed. And of course her mama isn't going to say that my daughter was depressed because that would of been a reason WHY her daughter did kill her grandsons. I don't know... Still just trying to comprehend the WHY....

has Darlie ever been treated for depression since she's been in prison?she still wants to live, and I realize not all depressed ppl want to die,but it seems she still has hope, which isn't a sign of depression.

perhaps another reason,if there is more than one,for the murders?get 2 of the boys out of the way, then later on there's more room and chances to have a girl?

Maybe...after all, it was stated Darlie took to her bed for 3 WEEKS when she found out she was having yet a 3rd boy instead of a girl.
Also, supposedly she and Darrin were going to Europe after the boys murder, and she was going to get rid of the scar there AND also concieve a girl while there.

I don't agree. There are so many levels of depression. Just because she doesn't want to die by the hands of the State of Texas, doesn't necessarily mean she is not depressed. That is survival instants, imo.

People live with untreated depression every day. They basically have taught themselves how to "cope" and "hope" that tomorrow will be a better day.

And I also believe esp. with women, that your hormones influence your sad days, so of course some days would be alot worse than others. But you still have hope... hope you don't hurt someone....:p Of course life issues can make your depression worse, sinking you deeper into it. Just my thoughts...

I don't think she was clinically depressed, I think she had anti-natal depression or post partum as you call it. She allegedly took to her bed for days when she found out she was pregnant for a boy..not a girl and wouldn't come out of her room. She let her appearance go and that is one sign of depression, a slovenly appearance. There's a video of her taken by Darin I think that I saw on American Justice I believe it was and she's outside on the sidewalk..dressed to the nines...but she won't lift her head up nor will she smile for the camera..she looks very depressed to me.

She was writing a suicide note a month before the murders!!!!! A sign of depression. You don't want to commit suicide when your life is going along just great and you are happy.

Hey Cami - ya know what I noticed when reading the latest DNA Appeal Brief, NO MENTION of the bloody fingerprint on the UT Door. Only talks about the sofa table and some flakes found on the outside Garage door.

The one found in the UT always made me think twice. Now, they don't bring it up.

Yes, I noticed that last year in another appeal document????

Devon wasn't wearing jeans..only underwear...Damon was fully clothed in jeans and a tshirt.

We know how it got there, she stabbed him the second time over by the wall where he managed to drag himself..her blood and his are on that wall. She says she put a wet towel on his back!!!!! She says he was walking and talking and that she checked him, turned him around and checked his back and then told him to lie down...

Some people think Devon may have instinctly reacted to the knife by kicking out at it and that's how she got the slice on her arm. That would put her blood on him but I have another theory as to how her blood got on Devon ...if it's there..

Hey White Rain..

I also read that somewhere about taking to her room for 3 weeks. I can see how that could be somewhat sad about not having a girl. Most people like to have both. But as it shows she couldn't handle the boys, let alone handle a GIRL :bang: .

You know if she if so innocent of murdering her little boys, while is it that we are not hearing from people besides the family that knew them and hung out with them, that could come forward and at least correct the perceptions we have formed. Did they only have 3 or friends in their whole life time?

Yes, I agree. I myself have suffered from thyroid induced depression. It got so bad once I thought about not wanting to live.
